The worst hotel I ever been at it’s dirty and disgusting beds are dirty I went to reception and tell them that the beds are dirty they said we gonna take care of it,,, and nothing I told them 5 times to go clean it up and they didn’t,, the food is terrible 🤢 the room keeping is joke no towels no toilet paper ,,,the pool is not that big as they advertised and is freezing cold,, the staff is pretending that they don’t understand English and just leave Avoid that hotel by 100miles Will never recommend

Dirty and very worn and dated. Food is horrible, cleaning a joke and staff are meh.. 1 cleaning during a weeks stay, had to ask for toiletpaper a few times and also for clean towels as they were needed to wipe the floors after a shower as it leaked at lot.. Pool was smaller than in pictures and cut off by a net. Loads of young drunk and loud people.. I cannot understand this is a 4* hotel - it’s a 2* at best.. Worst hotel I’ve been in.

Warning! Avoid this place! My stay at this hotel was a very negative experience, and I feel compelled to warn others. I don't usually leave reviews, but in this case, I can't ignore it. This place has nothing in common with its **** star rating! Sanitation was extremely poor – we noticed large insects in the dining room, which is absolutely unacceptable in a place that serves food. The rooms were neglected, and the cleaning left much to be desired. The room we were assigned had only one, broken, power outlet with protruding wires, which posed a real hazard – especially for a small, crawling child. Despite reporting the problem, the problem was not fixed, nor was the room changed. The hotel lacks a play area for children. There is only one high chair for the entire hotel, and it was so dirty that it was scary to fit a child in. The hallway was so narrow that we couldn't easily get a stroller in. We had to carry the cupboard out to the hallway ourselves to store the stroller, as there was a real risk of theft outside – electric strollers are a real threat in this country. There are no safes in the rooms, which is a serious problem for those with valuables. We'd never encountered anything so important. The food was monotonous and of poor quality – the bread was hard and stale. We noticed that after breakfast, the same bread was left outside uncovered, swarming with flies. Later, it was used for dinner, and even again for breakfast the next day. We tested it – it was impossible to cut, let alone eat with pleasure. The most serious problem, however, was the theft of my iPhone 15 and ATM card during our stay at the hotel. The phone was activated a few hours after our return to Poland – in a nearby village, indicating that the perpetrator was most likely from the local community, not a tourist. They also attempted to use my ATM card three times for large transactions. Despite reports, the hotel management refused to take responsibility and took no action to investigate the matter. They gave the impression they were simply trying to wash their hands of it. We have ample documentation of the entire situation, but it's impossible to add this much more. Based on my experience, I strongly advise against this hotel – especially for families with children and those who value safety, hygiene, and even the bare minimum.

Good value for money as was cheap, but definitely NOT 4* as advertised! Clean but VERY basic, not even a kettle in the room. Rooms seemed to get clean towels daily but not cleaned. Food disappointing and repetitive, often cold , and no snacks as advertised. Nice pool area, and was quiet as end of season. Gym was disappointing and dangerous- one of the machines had paracord tied on instead of proper cable and bike and treadmill broken. Would not stay again.

Awful food, disgusting artificial drinks, a cook smoking and serving oily pizza, worst cleaningness, no wifi anywhere, no electricity socket, very unwulaified staff, badly maintained facility and more worst things. Just stay away. It is not even one star.

We went to Sun Palace, Bulgaria with hamily. Website says 4* hotel but there was not even 1 star on the building. Dirty cutlery and crockery. The same food every day. Meat very poor quality ( you would not give this to your dog). No WiFi at all. Staff not friendly. Stay away!!!!

If I could give this no stars I would. The only good thing about this hotel is the friendly cleaners we had on floor 4 who cleaned our rooms everyday and provided us with stained towels and stained sheets. The food is the same everyday and not served to a good expectation. We travelled with Balkan Holidays and had an all inclusive package but are extremely disappointed as it does not even feel like we were provided with half board service. We spent a lot of money on buying food out of the hotel as it was the only way to gain any substantial meal.

The lift for our section was very slow and small and only permitted 4 people to ride in it. Whilst waiting for the lift one evening we saw a large cockroach wandering around near the restaurant, the hotel manager came out of his office with a napkin and grabbed it whilst saying they often appear because they live in the dirt under the hotel to keep cool...

The outdoor pool was dirty and I believe it caused me the get a cold virus due to how poor the cleanliness was in the water. I understand that having a pool under trees is difficult but the water did not even smell like chlorine or leave the smell on your skin like a clean pool would.

The staff were very rude and did not take to us English travellers kindly. We spoke to other English families who were staying there and had the same feedback from them. We heard from the local restaurant 'Jacks' that establishments along the strip call this hotel "Shi* Palace".

We will not be recommending this hotel to anyone.

My family and I (four in total) have been to Bulgaria on a number of occasions- we have stopped in bad hotels in the past but this one was by far the worst! We got there at around 7pm so after a long flight we were looking forward to dinner but was shocked at what we found. Food wasn't restocked regularly and no labels as to what each dish was. This was an issue for religious reasons so was unsure of what we could eat. Same options every night which was very limited. Breakfast was awful! Scrambled egg was just an oily omelette, sausages were inedible and no choice of beans or fried egg. The room we had was on the 5th floor which we had heard were recently renovated. Overall the room was nice- huge balcony and nice bathroom. Saying this, there was a small air-con unit which barely worked, one double wardrobe between a family and not enough plug sockets to cater four people in one room. The cleaner came in everyday to change the sheets, change the towels and empty the ashtray (which many people across other floors said this wasn't the case for them). However floors weren't cleaned for the entire two weeks of our stay, tables weren't wiped down and they 'mopped' the bathroom by using the shower head (which left the floor soaking for hours). Hygiene around the hotel was the worst we've seen! The ketchup outside (which was in a glass bowl) , used throughout the day was left uncovered from 12pm until the next day, the dirty plates were left on the tables for hours, cups weren't collected around the poolside and cobwebs/dirt around the outside cooking station. People were in the pool past 11pm, on numerous occasions, which we have never saw in any hotel we have ever stopped at. The next day the pool was never cleaned as we were up early and never saw any further hygiene steps take place. As well as this, the pool area was never hosed down during our stay, which resulted in tables and floor been sticky due to spillages. Benches were rotting and peeling of paint, unsafe to sit on a couple of them. Out of four coffee machines, only one worked. However this was not being replenished often enough and can only be used between a short amount of hours. Staff were very hostile- no uniforms and constantly on their phone/putting on makeup in their mirror. We never saw them clean empty tables as they were too busy talking to one another. They were also smoking around cooking stations and drinking throughout their shift. On our last day we saw the receptionists sleeping on the couches and had to wake them up to check out which is unacceptable. Lack of management was apparent as absolutely chaotic with no lack of direction/discipline. Not an English friendly hotel as mostly individuals were of other nationalities- alot of which were very hostile- towards us. Bulkan holidays expressed there would be entertainment, however this involved a 10 minute kid disco and nothing further. Tried to get transferred to another hotel and was willing to pay extra for this but the hot
