The pool bartender, Krystian and Ertan made excellent drinks (and told quite a few jokes as well :D ) Overall a stay to be remembered warmly!

Food had lots of variety, however food not being served past 9pm was definitely frustrating. Indian restaurant was a nice change up. Constant access to hot & cold drinks was appreciated

Great location, right next to the beach and most importantly excellent service. The animations team really made it a fun stay, even during the days with a bit worse weather

However turn left from the boardwalk and you’re heading straight to the centre with the usual clothes, handbags and souvenirs, but then turning left into another little alleyway there is a pub selling food and drinks with outdoor seating which is what my friend and I were looking for

It may be that some of the closed places serve coffee and have seating but not this early in the season. We are staying at the Melia sunny beach hotel and this review is being written while we are staying there

There’s a zebra crossing here for safety as you have to cross the road. Having got there, the ‘promenade is a little disappointing as there are not sea views and of course my wheelchair can’t run on the beach

They didn't even care that it was stolen, they didn't want to check cameras, nothing, they said we only keep a week on the day I left them, they said we'll keep it for you, and now they only keep it for a week, it was a small bag that didn't even take up space and the storage room was huge empty, no one helped, they just looked at me like what do you want at all In no hotel have I ever had things stolen...

Nice environment, very close to the beach!

I had a lot of cosmetics that I bought all new packaged it was worth a lot of money ampoules for a full treatment for three months and a pair of new shoes

Despite the cloudy weather, we had a bright Easter holiday, thanks to this wonderful place. Clean and cosy rooms, tasty food precisely served. Polite personnel, fun for kids and adults

Good hotel, so a lot of people. The food was delicious, just a fight for a place at the table. Cleaning in the restaurant all the time. Cleaning in the room every day, change of towels and bedclothes, nice cleaners

We had a wonderful vacation here and truly enjoyed our stay. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and went out of their way to be helpful and kind

The room was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed to relax. The pools and the waterslides were well maintained and fun for the kids. The meals were normal with a good variety for everyone

Last year, we stayed at Barceló, but I have to say, Kotva surpasses it in every way. Pool bar running from 12 till 18:00 with plenty of food variety. The rooms are lovely, and the food service is well-timed

With 4 pools and brilliant slides, our kids are still having a blast after 4 days—they spend all their time in the water and haven't gotten bored yet! The slides are very safe, and the staff is wonderful

There are plenty of bars, and the location is perfect. We did have an issue with the air conditioning in our room, but the staff quickly resolved it by giving us a new room with no hassle

A great selection of meals which caters for everyone. Only suggestions i would say is we would have loved a night for bulgarian food. The saunas and indoor pools are great. Recommend the mud pools just along from hotel

Animations leader was excellent at getting everyone involved even those with names as ‘no,no,no’ joined in and ‘maybe tomorrow’. Overall the experience of the hotel was 5* it’s just a shame that the weather let us down

There's nothing much around the hotel, but we didn't mind it with our small children - we always found entertainment in the hotel. The evenings in the hotel were quiet, no discos until late at night

Warm welcome from all the staff. Hotel is in middle of nowhere. But that not the hotels fault. The rooms were cleaned everyday and mini bars filled. There is a free shuttle to Pomorie which can be booked at desk

The Hotel and staff are absolutely fantastic, we’re currently staying in one of the family rooms. It’s 2 bedroom and the ‘adult’ bedroom has its own balcony, wardrobes and bathroom away from the ‘kids’

We were thrilled by the evening ritual with musical and light accompaniment of the fountains, it's a shame that the songs didn't change sometimes, but at least they remind us of our stay

We went all inclusive and the food was lovely, good variety of drinks and alcoholic drinks, everything is so close to the hotel, rooms are clean and staff are pleasant apart from the waiter in the bar by the pool, he has been abit nasty a couple of times because he couldn't understand me, I got upset and I think someone had a word, and the lobby toilet stinks thats the only things I have had a problem...

good room, location but lots of hidden charges, such as charging for a safe per day, if you leave to much food on your plate, also a charge etc , food is almost inedible , paid all inclusive but had to eat out most of the time due to the lack of anything that was not a mystery cold meat or dry crunchy pasta

Wouldn’t say it’s abysmal here, but just don’t go all inclusive unless you want to waste your money, however the hotel location and room were perfect so no complaints there!

Lovely location, we had to pay extra for a sea view( 15 leva perday) but so worth it. The rooms are big and good A/C, only little grimes we have are the shower floods the whole bathroom, no lip on the tray

We had an absolutely fantastic time, Rooms cleaned everyday, staff were really helpful, asked for a kettle for our Room it was there within 10 minutes 😀

Water is the pool is perfectly clean and warm. Hrizantema is a good 4* Bulgarian hotel with an excellent pool area and close to a nice beach where you aren’t for forced to hire a sunbeds

Good food and entertainment the only reason I won't give 5 stars is the cheap non alcoholic drinks they include in the all inclusive

The pool itself is pretty dangerous in parts due to loose floor tiles, all of us got cuts on feet, knees & hands so this really needs looking at, also a chair that is in the pool along the bar, one is missing a seat, leaving the metal pole in the water freestanding, but not very noticeable until close up & its very sharp, this could be a accident waiting to happen

Sunbed wars happened daily, there is a rule about no towels being allowed to be on the beds until 10am but after our 3rd day we realised everyone was doing it and it became difficult to get a decent spot where we could see our children

Refusing to give towels, shouting at us in Bulgarian knowing we couldn't understand what they were saying, they would then talk to each other whilst we were still standing there refusing to leave until we were given towels

That's on the flip side of that soon as you walk out the hotel there are lots of bars unrestaurants on the beach strip goes on for about one mile lots to do the bar on the beach was very poor only serving beer and one soft drink plenty of sun lounges on the beach though

Absolutely fantastic, lovely, friendly staff, very clean room, plenty of space for sunbeds, food great. Couldn't fault anything apart from the later in September you go the evening entertainment is a bit poor.

The all-in is literally all-in. food and drinks all day long and even snacks at night. several bars ranging from beach bar to pool bar ,open till 1800. I received an awesome room with big balcony facing the sea

Burgers chicken salads are all provided as snacks just a few to mention. The bar was fully stocked with lots of drinks good quality and these were available when we needed them obviously they close during the night

One of the best hotels we have stayed in. Clean and tidy rooms, the water in the pool is clear. The food served in the hotel restaurant is delicious, every dish was very tasty, huge selection of different meals

Went to McDonald’s and a lady was very aggressive about me using the toilet until I told her my son was waiting for our meal. The last place I wanted to go when I’ve paid for all inclusive

Music or entertainment every night, the only bad thing about the holliday was, it poured down with rain one night and we had to watch the entertainment inside

I like everything about it. Good looking, but a bit small room's, there is a big and clean swimming pool and a bar. Also loved the food service. It even has a billiard table and table football.

The biggest problem with this hotel are guests who throwing trash on ground, cant use toilets, in dining room they behaving worse than animals. for most guests trashbins are unknown things

Service was great with room cleaners and very good and helpful service in dining room. Sea is very close and pool is cool

It should be much better place if there are normal guests

We stayed Friday till Wednesday everything was spotless clean. Food was different every day and was really nice something for everyone. Staff are really friendly great service altogether

Always something for everyone. Queueing up for the drinks was a little much with just 1 bar person behind each bar. Not enough sun beds for the capacity of the hotel

We stayed at the imperial resort hotel in bulgaria, for 7 nights , my only regret is , i should of booked to stay longer , we were treated like royalty 👑, the management and staff were lovely, the range of food and drinks were fabulous, the hotel its self had a friendly atmosphere, and was very clean , we would definitely come back again to this beautiful country and fabulous hotel

The restaurant is quite basic but the food is varied and very, very tasty. Not once have I felt that they missed something. They had every kind of food for everyone, and tasty dishes as well

Reception area is very gloomy, staff are miserable through out, the only friendly member was the lady standing by the restaurant door. Rooms are very out dated, clean but need updating badly

The pools were great, cold, but you great for cooling you down. The hotel was in a great position, close to the action, but not too close. Plenty of bars and restaurants around if you wanted to eat out

We arrived late at night due to a delay with our flight. The hotel had put on some sandwiches for the guests which was a lovely gesture

Each evening was a different theme which was good and breakfast was also excellent with many options available. There was also a little cafe if you wanted a sweet afternoon snack

In the morning we asked if we could move to a sea view room which they kindly obliged. The staff were friendly and helpful

We made use of the indoor pool which was lovely, We were booked in till 1st October but hotel closed on 30th September So staff were surprised we were still there however we were looked after there was 12people left till late , We were there as the staff party was starting it was lovely to see them all coming in dressed up and I think it is a lovely thing for the company to do for them to be honest...

Yea and coffee and water were available through water dispenser and hot drinks machine on each corridor, not very pleasant for the people in the room opposite as it was very noisy, The hotel was very clean and our cleaner was lovely, foyer area and public areas were really clean, Food was plentiful and the cakes were amazing along with the watermelon, all drinks were self served, To be honest I...

The room was spacious and clean. The pool was fantastic, and the animators organized fun contests, morning workouts, and water slides. And there was so much more! A paradise for both children and adults.

However it is annoying to see that you cannot get a single piece of baklava half an hour after the opening of the restaurant because dozen pieces are taken out by some other guests, who then leave it at their table as a waste

It was very full in August (as you would expect) so meals times were a bit of a crush, however they offered us 2 meals in separate restaurants as part of the package and you can snack at lunchtime in one of their smaller venues

The kids’ activities were fantastic—our child had so much fun and was entertained from morning to evening. A perfect combination of relaxation and fun for the whole family

Enjoying the view, right? But very cold for the swimmers. Hallways to the restaurant have less than 2 m width, major concern in case of an emergency to handle hundreds of people

Our family had an amazing seaside getaway at this hotel! The location right by the shore was absolutely perfect, and the pools were beautiful and very well maintained

Room was spacious, nicely decorated and clean. Comfy beds Balcony was a godsend for drying out swimming stuff over night. Restaurants serving a wide range of foods

What struck us the most was how clean and tidy the whole place was, the cleaning team are on the go all day, continuously sweeping up in the restaurants, cleaning loos, cleaning rooms and sweeping away sand throughout the day insideandout, then when guests are relaxing in the evening the soak away drains around the pools are being hosed down and the sun loungers are being wiped down

Accommodation and meals (all-inclusive in several restaurants and stands including ice cream, be sure to try them all) are appropriate for the price and are completely sufficient for a normal family vacation

The only minor negative is that, unlike last season, the midnight snack served last year in the form of great sandwiches between 10:00 PM and 11:00 PM in the lobby bar was canceled this year - we couldn't find an adequate replacement and we don't know why these sandwiches were canceled (?) - but otherwise there was still more than enough very good food and drinks at the hotel

Each hotel has its own buffet restaurant and pool, which are only open to guests of that specific hotel. However, the water park and slides are available to everyone

The beach is just right near the hotel, during our stay it was clean, as was the sea (a little seaweed here and there), and the entrance to the sea is suitable for children (a lifeguard is present)

The staff is very helpful in most cases. The animators have interesting entertainment for all age groups. Families with children will certainly appreciate that every day around 11 p

the entire hotel complex (there are three interconnected hotels - Bay, Palace and Mare) goes quiet and there is no loud music production, etc

I recently visited this hotel with my family, I found the overall experience to be top notch, hotel Neptun offers an amazing food selection and is situated in the perfect location to fully enjoy Sunny Beach, the hotel and rooms were kept absolutely spotless and the staff were both kind and helpful to myself and my family, if you are looking for a fun relaxing all inclusive hotel I couldn't recommend...

the sauna was great very private Which was nice we are over 75 the reception staff was great especially Krastyn he couldn’t do enough for you thanks once again Krastyn for your help. Had a lovely room cleaned every day

the pool bar staff were so obliging and there food was delicious the toasties and cakes are definitely some thing you should try we will be back going to book for next year but please can we have a double bed?

The hotel is spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and cared for with great attention to detail – from the rooms to all common areas. You can truly see the pride they take in keeping everything perfect

They’ve offer a wide selection of activities, I loved the shuffle board & darts, kids loved the kids club where Titi & Krista kept them entertained. The hotel is extremely clean & staff are so nice

Shout out to the staff at the pool bar they are great, I loved the 2girls & man who served sandwiches & ice cream. The hotel is ideal for families rooms are spacious & cleaned daily

Food is also quite good, personally I enjoyed. Big swimming pool with few slides. Nice snack bar and evening show. You can expect communication with staff in either of 4 languages, Russian, English, German or Bulgarian

We have enjoyed vacations at this resort. To consider, easy acces to the beach and you can go over the sand dunes or to follow nice street with many small shops. Rooms are good as price/quality

We didn't like Sunny Beach centre as the restaurants are poor and its more for partying than we wanted with our 4 year old

The hotel it's very clean, professional staff, the food is very delicious and has a great variety. Perfect for families but also great place to relax for single people

There are many clubs around, the beach is 5 min away. There is a near bus station to visit Nessebar

Wifi is available everywhere & works perfectly! One small improvement could be the cleaning of the glasses, they are not always the cleanest! Overall I would say this is an excellent hotel with superb location & superb food!!

We had to pay 100 euros extra to keep the room for a few more hours on the day of checkout, which I find outrageous given that this is about hygiene and preventing the children from infecting others in public areas

This was at the end of August, when the water had been naturally heated by the sun for several months – yet they were absolutely freezing. To the point where your lips turn blue after about 10 minutes in the water

This was extremely disappointing, as the whole purpose of the trip is sun and swimming. There is one wave pool in the water park that is around 23°C and manageable

All the others are without a doubt around 20°C, including the children’s pool. So if warm pool temperatures are important to you, this is not the right place

There isn’t a single pool with even reasonably “okay” cold water – they are so cold that it’s impossible for both adults and children to stay in them

Another downside: the children got food poisoning on day 12 of our 14-day stay

I came back in this hotel already 2 times and I just love it. All the workers are nice and polite. From the restaurant manager Maria Raicheva I am very pleased for her help and professionalism

Easter time with such a great experience. All in one! No need to move around . Lot of choices, rooms very comfortable and we have enjoyed the sea view as well. Food was great!

My son Robert is very happy with beautiful ladies from Miniclub : Ani and Ivi. Also the boys : Boyan and Roman which my bigger kids played with are absolutely amazing

MPM Hotel Kalina Garden is perfectly located — just a few minutes’ walk from Sunny Beach and close to shops, bars, and restaurants. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the staff are generally friendly and helpful

I was a little nervous about this trip given previous reviews. However this hotel is wonderful. 2 mins to La Flor restaurant (if needed) and Condor bar etc. The room was spacious and bathroom/shower was perfect

Most importantly, the food!! Breakfast was very satisfactory (3 types of eggs, potatoes, beans, eggy bread, salads, nice bread (butter good). Great choices (pork, chicken, fish every night)

Great hotel nice and clean staff were very friendly as well but always looked angry, got to our room shower head hanging off broken bracket and trim hanging off ceiling in bathroom not safe at all, no way is it a 5 star hotel more like a 3,great location right in front of the beach,also the food was terrible and the range of drinks they have on offer

Couldn't be closer to the sea, lovely rooms, comfy beds, soft pillows, lots of bars, fizzy water "on tap" 2 pools, all day ice-cream. Fizzy wine (champagne) is a bit sweet for my taste and not reliably chilled

Spirits and cocktails, a bit hit and miss ?. Some staff are a bit tired (September is the end of the season) but others like Natalie (Nataliya) on reception and Kiril at the beach bar are still happy to serve

Average hotel. Knew where I was going, so the experience is normal. Service is lame. It does not claim to the property. Just in Bulgaria it is not.

Big rooms, very comfortable beds, nice staff, clean, big pools. Small beach but with sand and rocks, not many umbrellas or seats

Good food but scarce for a five star hotel,not too many options, bar limited to local drinks and few options for food abr. By the pool there is a paid bar. Overall good for the price paid for all inclusive
