The owner, who is also the host is very polite, good cook and offer very good service. Not the typical local guy. The hotel is very clean and has its own small spa center with jacuzzi and steam bath. The menu in the restaurant is not big, but everything is home cooked by the owner.

We had a birthday party in hotel's restaurant. The servers were nice, spoke english, food was tasty and smoking area nearby was useful as well. The one thing that unpleasantly surprised me was lack of preparation. What kind of restaurant runs out of ALL sparkling wine when having a birthday party booked?

I wanted to see the rose museum, the park and the Thracian tomb's. For me this hotel is in a perfect location. Free parking and super friendly staff. The hotel is immaculate, as is my room.

Would recommend it for staying as it's just across the city museum! You can order breakfast ahead, the room was clean, and the personnel was welcoming. There's parking though it's a bit hard to enter with a bigger car.

Excellent on all levels. Fast wifi, Wonderful but small and cosy rooms and maintained well ..accept for one small thibg: the shower head clamp which was broken and I, 1.91 m tall, wasn’t able to set it at a comfortable height. We had to pay extra for bathrobes and towels (they were not included in the price—€3.50 each). They only filled the jacuzzi after we left, and the pool was too small for the hotel's capacity.

Outside pool and mineral pool we're great ,a bit on the busy side but that's life nowadays. We had a wonderful time! The hotel itself is located in a parched and features spacious rooms, clean and bright; the personnel is attentive and helpful! The restaurant serves delicious meals in large portions. Plenty of things to see at a stone throw distance ! Worth every penny!

The outside pool is just perfect. The fee for an adult is 8 lv. through the week. The snack bar is delicious and not pricey. The only thing that can be better is the toilet, it needs a good cleaning. I’m very happy with the overall pool experience.

We are really touched by the staff who helped us because we had a punctured tyre. The car rental company will not change our car be ayse they are based in Sofia. There is no spare tyre and no proper gear. If not for Hristiyan, we would not be able to drive the car at all. He helped us remove the punctured tyre, drove us to the tyre shop and communicated with the owner (who doesn't speak English). If...

We went to spa. Infrared sauna was not functional. Finnish sauna too small. Just for 2-3:people. Steam sauna was good. Pool was pleasant, but water was a bit cold. Not more than 34 c. We enjoyed but will not back here again.

We stayed there for a night in a huge 2 bedroom apartment. We loved it. The area is absolutely fantastic. We were extremely impressed with the restaurant, the food was amazing, including the fabulous deserts, it looks like the chef is top notch. It is a beautiful, remote retreat away from the noise of the city.

We stayed at this hotel for one night. The guest was very nice and helpful. This place it is from walking distance from center. We had a really nice breakfast in the morning. I would give a minus fro the "old" smell from the rooms and the mattress was really soft (I think they are quite old). It is a fair price for what they offer.

The woman at the reception was very polite listening my bad experience with the owner of the White House! She offered me a room away from the side of the restaurant, because there was a wedding there that night and was a bit noisy. The room and bathroom were very clean and nice. Breakfast is a bit shabby and the walls of the rooms are so thin that you can hear your neighbors taking their night pills, but nothing compares to the noises you can enjoy when your neighbors have a hard time having sex. Perfectly located as my base for the climb/hike to the nearby Mountain Botev and the peak. The Hotel had everything that i required and more, the room was very comfortable, spotlessly clean as was the bathroom. Breakfast and dinner was very tasty and inexpensive. The hotel is lovely unfortunately the service levels are poor. Breakfast service was awful and the food was average. We had to repeatedly ask for items that hadn't been replenished and on our last day they had no milk. If you stay here you will have to manage your expectations and let the manager know if you are not happy as he assured me that he wants to meet the customers expectations.

Nice, quiet place with a great location. Our room had a balcony and was very clean. The owner of the hotel, Rosi, was always smiling and kind to us. She welcomed us as guests, and we parted as old friends. We will definitely stay at Hotel Rai again in our beloved Tryavna!

The yard is unique, there are two large trampolines, hammocks, lounge chairs, swings, a slide, many different children's toys, etc. The staff is very good and responsive. This is a very calm and beautiful place, overlooking the whole Tryavna! The air is super fresh, and there are pine trees all around. You can have a very quiet and relaxing time, the food in the restaurant is fresh and good quality, and the staff is welcoming. The only minus I would say is that the building is itself a little bit old, and could use renovation.

What can I say? If you want to enjoy well-prepared traditional Bulgarian cuisine and the breath-taking view of Tryavna - this is the place to go!
