a hotel that also has 3 star rooms that don't look good at all, only the bathrooms have been renovated. Torn wallpaper, mold, spiders, dirty and stained baby cot, uncomfortable mattresses and pillows, very hot rooms in summer and the worst thing is the breakfast and its service which is horror - I DO NOT RECOMMEND

The room is nothing special. Our bedsheets had stains on them and also the bathrobes were not washed or at least they were smelly and dirty a bit. Also when we entered the room it was smelling like sweat.The cleaning ladies tried to enter our room 2 times in the morning while we were chilling.The spa is really small and the pool is not heated that much. Also for the sauna and steam room you need to pay extra? There is free parking but with around 5-6 spots. The breakfast is fine, but low assortment and not enough cutlery and some of the plates were dirty. The bathroom is good and has nice music.😀 Overall is not that good. There is a lot to improve for sure. We were not satisfied.

As the hotel is advertised as “spa” I can say the spa is bad. It is very small, for maximum 10 people and when the hotel is booked in full capacity I just can’t see how everyone will fit in that small space. People were just coming in, looking around and going back out because there was no space for more people. The pool has cold water, it is not the cleanest as well. You have to pay extra in order to use the sauna and the steam room and there are only three beds in the relaxing area and one sofa for max 3 people. Overall we expected much more. Also the breakfast was not that good. There were veggies, cheese and some pastries which weren’t the freshest also. The coffee machine was broken and also the shower in our room was really loud and we had to wait for ten minutes for the hot water to come. For the price I guess it is okay, but it is far from luxurious as it is advertised. I didn’t see anything luxurious.It is close to the city center, yes, and it has free parking spaces which is good, can’t deny.

First of all, as a foreigner here, I owe thanks to Ms. Alexandra. She was really kind, nice and caring. She answered and solved all my questions patiently.Everything is perfect. The hotel is very luxurious and clean. All facilities are available.I highly recommend it to everyone because it's great to be here. 🙏💆♂️

This hotel is an absolute gem ❤️
It seems that it has been recently refurbished. Everything from the room, spa, dining room and lobby is quite stylish. The 5th floor also has a great view of the fortress, especially at night.
It is located literally a minute walk from the entrance to the Tsarevets Fortress and the main street in the historic district.
The staff is friendly and ready to help.
The star of the experience, however, is their breakfast 🤤 All of their baked goods and desserts are home made 😍

Sadly I have to agree with the terrible reviews. The common parts looked nice and the room was actually beautiful but.....the a/c did not work and it was unbearably hot. We were told it would be fixed but it wasn't - then we got a story about the hotel "system" being set to "heat" for the winter even though it was 30C outside. With one sleepless night behind us we asked to check out after just one night of our planned 3. Manager on phone said OK and he would refund us the 2 unused nights. Several weeks later I am being told that I made up the whole story and that I was therefore "rude"! So suggest you stay somewhere central - do not use this hotel.

Disgusting experience….. We were put in a room that was just awful. The room was extremely dirty, the sofa was torn, the sheets and blankets were dirty.... In the bathroom, everything was moldy and broken. There will be some hole with power cables that was opened! There were expired products in the mini bar! Just awful! Never again at this hotel!

A beautiful hotel near the main castle. Nice and comfy rooms with nice decoration. Everything was really good. The breakfast was nice and the view from the room is really beautiful. Ideal for families as well in a really quiet location. I will return for sure

I'm afraid the terrible reviews are correct. There were two or three kind staff who were trying but overall this hotel is badly managed. The breakfast on both our days was quite poor and no cups. Apparently people take them to their room, why they don't buy a few more I don't know. There is no kettle/tea making facilities in the room. Our room was a good size but air conditioning was not working satisfactorily. Perhaps being on top floor didn't help. If you opened the window and looked to the left you could see the.fortress! Our shower was above the bath and no shower curtain or screen to stop water.going everywhere. I tried to call for a shower mat but phones had been disconnected internally as they had a problem and when I went downstairs there.was no-one on reception. Still no shower mat day two so presumed they didn't supply them. Very dangerous stepping out of a bath with a wet floor. I'm afraid apart from good.sized room I can't think of anything positive to say. Unfortunately this was our.only two night stay in Bulgaria and the worst.

Badly managed and very disappointing. It felt like a Fawlty Towers experience! Breakfast was very basic but edible. Our room was a good size but air conditioning was not properly working, nor was telephone. Shower above bath no screen or.curtsin and floor became wet. No shower mat which made getting out dangerous. It wouldn't actually take too much to put things right but.there must be better places to stay. View from room if you stuck head out of window!
