We enjoyed our stay here. The outside dining area is lovely as is the pool area, this also has a bar.
The breakfasts were good but did not change at all during our stay.
Dinner was good and catered for my wife's Gluten intolerance.
The lobby area is also lovely and has a good gift shop that is reasonably priced.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
Our only issue was the dated room including the shower in the bath. We cannot recall the last hotel that we stayed at that had this. However, how long do you spend in a hotel room?
The location was good with some tourist attractions within walking distance or a cheap tuk tuk trip away.

I did not stay at Tara Angkor Hotel. But, I have used their pool many times - you can purchase a pass, of sorts, to use a pool for the day.

Swimming at the Tara Angkor Hotel is always a delight! The pool is very clean, spacious, and comfortable to swim in. Plus, there are some lovely chairs, plenty of nice things to eat/drink, and a lovely washroom.

If you want nice place to swim and relax, I highly recommend Tara Angkor Hotel's swimming pool!

Even though I only stayed for one night, I could still feel the thoughtful and warm service. The hotel is not far from Pub Street and Angkor Wat, making its location very convenient. It offers great value for money and I highly recommend it overall.

The hotel looked very grand - huge spiral staircase, lovely pool and loads of places to sit and enjoy. Good breakfast served in the ballroom. Our nice spacious room was the perfect cool haven after a day’s sightseeing. Good WiFi and easy access to Angkor Wat and town by tuktuk or Grab. 7/11 and ATM next block.

Generally, very nice hotel of classic interior with a hint of vintage entourage in addition to cozy village-like garden where one can find chicken and iguanas.
Personnel is helpful and friendly like all Cambodians.
Special thanks to the invited masseuse. The massage has compensated not functioning jacuzzi and sauna.
The only disappointing aspect was the breakfast. Limited options of food and drinks. Although in case you’re a fan of rice, noodles, and soy processed meat, you’d definitely find yourself satisfied.

We really enjoyed our stay here, Lovely friendly staff, breakfast was good, good selection, and options for fresh cooked food. The pool was a nice temperature to swim or relax in. Rooms very spacious.
Good location between the incredible Angkor Wat and surrounding temples, and also the opposite direction into Bar street and some the lovely restaurants there.
Convenience shop very nearby, bank, pharmacy etc...
