We had an amazing stay at this guesthouse. We found the most genuinely nicest owner and tuk tuk driver in there. Making sure everything was good for us, the breakfast were really good as well. Close to the Angkor wat temple it's amazing location.

It was the best stay experience till now. The concept is unique and the family will really make you to feel like one of them . Mr Sok Phen came to pick me at the airport and he was with me till the end. His wife cooked some amazing Chicken rice for that night. Their kids are genius and last member was their dog who is friendly too. Don’t think much and book this place for your next visit to Angkor wat. Highly recommended.

One of good, quiet, greenery atmosphere homestay in Siem Reap and they even have own homemade winery with tasty flavor. Owner of property really friendly and helpful and knowledgeable about Siem reap city. This home could accommodate a lot of people and stay like local people and experience what local people living. Think about here if you have time in Siem Reap

For my Daughters 13th birthday we left my wife and my 2 sons back home in Hawaii and decided to have an adventure in Thailand and Cambodia.

1) This is not a “Homestay”, in my opinion this is a true Experience.

2) Take advantage of all Mr.Phen has to offer. TukTuk rides - Angkor Tours - home cooked meals - local massage - the list goes on and on.

3) Mr.Phen, his family and the people you will meet from his village are all Khmer people. Do yourself a favor and ask many questions, take advantage of their knowledge and expose yourself to their way of life and the struggles of their people.

4) Mr.Phen’s hospitality is second to none! He went way out of his way to make sure we were taken care of and even made other arrangements for us.

My Daughter enjoyed staying at Mr.Phens place and loved his family so much she decided not to head down to the islands for the last leg of our trip and instead extend our stay at Mr.Phen’s Homestay.

This Experience Exceeded my Expectations.
Do yourself a favore and book it for your stay on Siem Reap, I know I will when I go back with the rest of my family.

What a great experience. The Sok Phen Homestay is a country setting far from the city and very close to the Angkor Wat temple. And the owner has free bikes to use to get around the temples. Also they cook for you delicious traditional Khmer dinners. The guest house is large and clean and the family welcomes all travelers as if they are part of the family. He also gives free pickup and drop off rides. Really, they take care of everything you need as you visit the temples of Angkor Wat. It is important to note that a lot of this money made is going directly to providing for education and classes of children who are orphans. So when you stay here you are supporting that cause. Just a tremendous family and peaceful place to stay.

This homestay is a once in a lifetime glimpse into the real Cambodia

Phen offered us the best hospitality I've experienced in my entire life - on Airbnb or otherwise. His place is a traditional, 45 year old house with three beds, all of which are equipped with fans and mosquito nets. What stands out about this place is Phen himself and his friends and family, he was ready to help with whatever we needed and provided plentiful suggestions on what to do. A delicious dinner was cooked by his lovely wife and catered to my friend's vegetarian needs. He taught us more about Cambodian lifestyle and history than the internet or a hired guide could.

The courtesy and generosity extended by a man who has had a very difficult life astounds me. He has a huge heart and genuinely wants to help his friends and Cambodia. I hope to return someday

Very clean and authentic it is 45 year old Khmer House (this what the very friendly owner says) and it was a very nice stay. The owner is the very hosbitable kind of people I ve ever meet.
