Very nice hotel with good dining restaurant! Very friendly and helpful front desk and staff, hotel is clean and neat! Would love to visit again if I am travelling to Calgary in the future!

Hubby and I stayed a night for Valentines day last night. It was pretty exceptional from the second we arrived. They have secure underground parking and the front desk staff and restaurant staff are a delight. The room was clean and modern and we had a phenomenal view of the downtown. The Shoe and Canoe restaurant that is located right in their lobby, was tasty, had nice drinks and is where our included breakfast was served as well. Walking distance from a ton of restaurants and bars, Chinatown, and the Bow River. The only thing I would consider when staying here, is that it is right downtown, and the nighttime is active and can be fairly loud. Other than that, absolutly fantastic. Would definitely stay again!

I stayed here for 2 nights, everything was super nice. The service, the room, the gym, all were amazing. Would super recommend to all who are coming to visit Calgary! Specially for those who want to depart from Calgary to Banff.

Staying here this weekend and there is children everywhere screaming ,yelling, running in the halls. They're in the pool in the open so it echos into the room. Staff is meh, rooms nice. Old paper coffee cup found between bed and side table. Not enjoyable for the price.

Superb location, within short walking distance to everywhere in downtown Calgary. Clean, modern, good customer service. Great breakfast with good customer service as well. Bottles of free mineral water available , kettle is provided upon request. Transit BRT300 bus stop from Calgary Airport right in front of the hotel, $4 single ride, very suitable for solo budget traveler.

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at during my travels. Room was clean, spacious, aircond works well for both heater (it was -22C when I was in Calgary) and cooler, everything works well, topped with good location in Chinatown area (don't worry for food selections). Good breakfast also.
I'd like to highlight the service from Vanessa in the restaurant. She was so attentive and cheerful, I highly appreciate the hospitality provided by her and also a front office lady (forget to ask her name). I definitely will be staying here again when I am back to Calgary. A definite recommended hotel!

Interestingly, I reviewed Royal India on Just-Eat, where they are a paid sponsor, and my negative review hasn't been published.

I order takeout from Royal India, and it was sub-par. The delivery was prompt, the food was warm and well packaged. The naan and complimentary raita were both good, but the rest of the meal wasn't. The prawn biryani was dry and overcooked, the prawns were tasteless. The spicing tasted like medicine, and not curry. The tikka lamb masala was a disappointment. The sauce was bland and about 30% separated oil. The lamb was plentiful, but about half of it was gristly and tough. Royal India got the spicing levels wrong for both dishes. I'd ask for hot, and for medium hot, and got the mildest spice imaginable.

I'm not a Indian food newbie, and I often order biryanis and masalas, the Royal Indian's versions didn't measure up. The price was a bit high, and definitely not worth paying for low quality.

Delivery order took 2 hours, food was cold. No care in packaging. Bland.. called to see where order was, lady spoke very very poor english. Was rude and brainless.

Do not waste your time here, it will be out of business any day now.

The food is bland. I am a white guy and I like Indian food to be authentic and tasty. It appears these guys just boil their meats and and dilute the spices to save money. Very expensive for a bland food.
