I stayed here as an Open learning online student with the intent to be close to campus to write 2 final exams in one day and then drive home 2 hrs away. I paid $160 and the customer service was nil. Basically all staff are a bunch of millenials with a blase attitude- none of them could care less about hospitality, intrgrity or good service. The attitude reflects that if they have to actually do anything they kind of just laugh and shrug. No empathy- all just there to hold a space and earn a cheque. They put me- a 49 year old woman on a floor with high school kids- I literally got no sleep- the internet cut out half way through the night interrupting the ocean waves I was playing to drown out the noise in the halls. They refused to extend my parking by at least an hour so I could do at least my morning exam without worries of where to park despite literally acres of empty lots throughout campus. Only way to pay for parking is QR code- which I refuse to use. No amentities in the rooms whatsoever and the housekeeping manager should be fired and replaced with someone who knows and cares about basic hospitality standards. They want to charge fees in this place as if it's a hotel but its a dorm and should be priced as a basic hostel. The common kitchen had zero dishes/pans etc and was absolutely filthy. Students here for exams should get a deal. If I do exams in person again here I will stay elsewhere. I do not reccomend. One good point is the view of the river and the valleys was gorgeous and made up for alot.

The room was pretty warm. Couldn't adjust the temp in the room. The walls are pretty thin, the fridge didn't work, and the chairs are very uncomfortable.

As per other reviews, these are dorm rooms that other than cleaning up are just that. Dark and questionable carpeting. Bare bones. Kitchen but no utensils, cups, no coffee or tea. The pictures are deceptive and false advertising. NO bedside lights, just one big overhead one. In the summer there is no pub or anywhere else close by to get food and drink. The mattresses are foam and if you have back issues you do not want to sleep on these. Very basic accommodation and depending on the day or week you can get something else in town that is similar or better grade but with more amenities. Apologies for not taking pictures.

The two person beds are pretty much 1.5 person beds, the walls are paper thin and you can feel and hear your neighbors do everything in their bed. There are no plates, glasses, whatever in the room. It does have a TV though. The bathroom is also pretty ok.

Awful. Bed is super uncomfortable. Double size not queen. Like practically camping. Mega-hard. Bring your foam mattress topper. No living room area. Only stay if you have no other cheap choices. Clean. Good for families who want separate bedrooms. We stayed in a 2 bedroom, 1 shower, no bath with modest "kitchen" --- basically a microwave and fridge. Convenient, scenic location but need a car to get downtown, only 10 minutes away. Great, friendly, helpful front desk staff.

Not a hotel… just know that! It’s a university building that they’ve sort of converted to rent out the rooms. But they haven’t renovated or anything. The positives- you get a large space with amazing views, and a good value. Also friendly staff. The negatives- you really feel that you’re in a university residence. It doesn’t smell nice, there were old goldfish crackers under our bed, and the location is out of the way. You do get what you pay for! But we felt safe here and we saved a lot of money.

We LOVED this place. The people who are posting that the beds are “rock/concrete hard” are obviously used to super super soft beds. I actually don’t like soft beds and these still had a nice amount of cushion to them. It was just perfect!!! I actually thought the rooms were great (we got a two room sweet). The it was nice and quiet (we were on the 10th floor).

This is going to be our go to place when going through Kamloops. I would not hesitate to stay for a longer stay there as well.

They had a sign at our door saying 'Sorry! We didn't get to cleaning your room.' which was really messed up. Confusing parking and bad reception staff. Would rate 0 if you could.

Don't book here if you actually 100% need a place to stay. I booked my stay in an Executive loft suite with the TRU RCC 6 months in advance for a Wedding event on Sept. 8-10th. I received a reservation number and was under the impression that my accommodations were guaranteed. On the morning of September 8th, the day I was supposed to check in, I got a call from Brandon letting me know that I no longer had a place to stay due to an extenuating circumstance that could not be fixed that day. Brandon suggested staying at a different local hotel and using a taxi to go back and forth between the TRU residence and the Best Western until a room was available. I was assured that I would be compensated for this inconvenience: that the hotel would be paid for as well as the taxi rides to and from the alternate location. As the Maid of Honor and a Mother of two young kids, this was not a feasible option for me. Without any other options, I spent the morning making long distance phone calls to ask other guests of the wedding to please switch rooms with me. I did not receive any compensation for my hardships: specifically the time I spent coming up with a solution; the money I spent on the long distance phone calls and the emotional stress that you caused for the entire weekend.

During my stay, I encountered a large brown stain on my pillow. I also unable to enter my room several times because the key card didn't work. Even after re-programming it at the front desk, the mechanism failed to read the card. I had to get the front desk individual to use a key to open the door. In addition, the phone in most of our rooms did not work. I'm really unhappy with the service and that nothing was done for me. I followed up with them after several times, and no one responded. I wouldn't book these accommodations for something important like a Wedding.

This offers a cozy place to live and study for on campus resident options. The rent is relatively costly. But if you keep in mind the benefits of campus housing it is good. But the rooms are very small

It's on campus and it's open only on weekdays. Rush hours 11-3 ?

Overpriced, always busy, no online ordering, and the food sucks. Owned by Aramark (the TRU food cartel) and doesn't feel like a true Timmies.

I've tried my best to stay positive about this location, but they make it really hard for me to do. On Friday I bought a donut and I had already gone back to my seat and found it was overcooked. Today I got a bagel toasted with cream cheese and there was 1/4 of the amount that there's supposed to be. Service is nearly always slow. I don't think every employee there cares about getting their orders right and it has become really frustrating.

Super slow because they're always super busy and understaffed. Half their food products run out by like 3pm often. The university needs a full sized fully staffed Tim Hortons
