Multiple reviews highlight the excellent location near Stanley Park and Coal Harbour with stunning water and mountain views. Guests appreciate the heated outdoor pools and sauna, describing them as a highlight of their stay. Staff are frequently described as friendly, accommodating, and providing excellent service from check-in to housekeeping. Free bike rentals and proximity to walking paths along the waterfront are popular among guests. The hotel’s restaurants receive positive remarks for breakfast options and cocktail presentation. Several guests mention that some rooms, especially in the tower, feel old or not fully updated, with one room lacking a microwave. One review detailed a significant inconvenience caused by a water outage in the bathroom during checkout and malfunctioning room keys. The hotel’s parking is considered expensive at $45 per night for self-parking, and valet parking service was noted as inattentive by one guest. Some guests found the outdoor private yard space restrictive, with no access for guests to sit outside comfortably. A few guests felt the room sizes were small relative to the price paid.

First stay here. Got a deal on “Stay Vancouver” which basically gave us a free night. Got an upgrade to our room on a weekday so had an exceptions harbour view room. Watched the seals playing in the water. Excellent service from each staff member we met. Easy check in and out. Restaurant downstairs was great too. Pools were awesome. Wish it was warmer for the outside pool as it looked amazing. Wish we could have tried the high tea too.

Bad review. I booked for 3 nights, but my plans changed and I wanted to cancel one night. They flat-out refused. The room was very old, and all the fixtures and fittings were in poor condition.

We had a great stay, the Westin Bayshore is our favourite hotel to stay at!

The location is great and the outdoor pool and sauna were the highlight of this hotel.

Unfortunately we were disappointed with our room in the 'updated' tower. Which didn't seem very updated. Our king room with harbour and mountain view didn't even have a microwave. As well as the layout wasn't great with the desk placed infront of the window obstructing the great view.

This was our first time at the Westin Bayshore and it was a very nice stay. Our room was nice and clean, we opted for a room without a view and boy... did it have no view 🤣 it overlooked a small, inner courtyard but the view really didn't matter. Staff were super friendly and helpful. It is a lovely hotel but it is really only close to Stanley Park and the convention centre. It's about a 30 minute walk to places like The Vogue. Would absolutely stay here again.

I just stayed here one night in January and I really enjoyed my stay. Ver nice rooms with a nice view over the harbor. It is in walking distance to the city center and you can walk along the waterfront to get there, very nice walk. The hotel room was spacious, clean and in a very good condition. The hotel also has a restaurant and bar. The restaurant had a nice selection of dishes and I remember they had a good selection of cocktails that they present in a nice travel book style, pretty cool idea. Would definitely book this hotel again the next time I‘ll be back in Vancouver. I took roughly 20min by car to get to the airport which was totally fine. Overall a really nice hotel that I can absolutely recommend.

A group of us stayed here for a weekend dance convention and had a great experience. We were on the second floor with a pool-facing room, which turned out to be the ideal location. The convention area was easily accessible by stairs, so we didn’t have to deal with elevator wait times, which can get busy. The hotel itself is beautiful, and we had no complaints about the room—it was clean, well maintained, and surprisingly nice for an older room.

The service was excellent, from the warm bell service welcome to how smoothly our special requests were handled, including a microwave, cutlery, extra towels, and access to the Peloton studio. The pool and gym had a relaxing, spa-like atmosphere. While the hotel restaurant and coffee bar are quite expensive, we came prepared with our own food and snacks. There are also plenty of fast-food and restaurant options within easy walking distance if you want to step out for a meal.

We booked the Panoramic Suite and it was beautiful, highly recommended and the rest of the hotel is just so nice!

The food was good and we were served quickly. When we asked for the bill we got it right away

Don’t pitch your start-up here. Don’t do on a first date. This place is kid friendly, has a large menu, has patient wait staff, and can handle large family groups. Don’t expect mind -blowing innovation. Just don’t. Oh, and pirate packs.
01.11.2017 Gary
I’m sitting here waiting for my bill, the fat brown manager is leaning against the bar with both hands talking to his buddy, he sees that I want to pay my bill, doesn’t even try to acknowledge me. Instead goes to the back with his other buddy to show his office. Then comes back and stands the same way. His two servers are sitting next to me and he has more interest in talking to his off duty coworkers while he’s working. He has no concern about the current staff sitting in he restaurant, in fact he has his back to them. This guy is not worthy of managing a restaurant of this sort of location/class. He’s just there collecting hours, very easy to tell. Show some hustle buddy.

It's tough not to enjoy the quality and interesting choices of food at any White Spot and this one was no different. We had guests from Australia and chose a "Canadian/WestCoast" styled restaurant to give them a taste of our west coast cuisine. The food was tasty, hot, looked great and enjoyed by all. Most of us had a Sunday breakfast/brunch styled meal with one guest having a burger. All were thoroughly enjoyed. Service was great, I personally find some of the White Spots (and this one in particular) fairly noisy and difficult to carry on normal, quiet conversations, especially if they are busy.

Maybe i hit this place on a bad day? It was really a horrible meal. The service was OK. I'd suggest going to another place in this area as there are far better options.
