Very old rooms in well worn state, but they are basically a full apartment, not a hotel room. Furniture is borderline trashed. Windows are single pane and drafty, do not keep out noise or cold much. Electric baseboard heaters. Druggies outside the hotel, but the rooms felt secure. It didn't feel dirty, just old and out of date. Smell is okay, stuff works mostly, but its all well past its prime. Suitable as a budget friendly family option or longer stay with less frills. Bring earplugs, the road noise is constant through the windows.

A fantastic hotel suite on the 11th floor. I use the full kitchen to make a lovely BC salmon dinner.
I’m looking forward to using the rest of the amenities in my 750 square-foot , one bedroom suite

We only stay here for night for New Year’s eve, great thing is that it cllose to shops and restaurants, you will get what you paid for, the room was big and having a great view but building were too old and having a smell, this hotel needs to be upgraded a bit. But for 1 night stay not bad for us.

Room is large and good value, easy parking.

Downside- you get what you pay for, building and carpets have a musty smell you have to air out on arrival.

Everything is perfect, I really enjoyed the Vancouver view at the hotel. Will be back next time.

The front desk guy was awesome on our first night. Second night not so great. Then first guy back so we told him our feelings.
This is NOT a 4-star hotel. But the room is a suite with a kitchen (didn’t look for cooking things, just used the glasses.
Sadly the hot water boiler stopped last night so cold showers this morning. But that’s not a negative rating.
So many restaurants within two blocks!!

The concierges here are all wonderful people and go above and beyond to prioritize you. The rooms are gorgeous. My favourite place to unwind.

I've gotten food here a countless number of times. Don't come here expecting super fancy Chinese food like a bunch of the negative reviewers were expecting. This place is more like a Chinese diner. It's casual and they serve a little bit of everything, so it's good for what it is.

I just went to this place about 2 hours ago and it was the worst Chinese Food I've ever tasted. This was the only Chinese place around open during Christmas Night and I did not expect what had just happened. The waitress serving us seemed unenthusiastic and didn't want to be here. The waiting time to get our food was long for only a bowl of beef balls with noodles and wontons.
We never even got drinks which were simple and easy to make. When we did get our food, one of our orders were wrong and the soup in the noodles smelled way too fishy for our tastes. We didn't finish our food and in the end, paid $70 for something we never finished and left unimpressed. Overall, this restaurant had terrible service, crappy and not authentic food, and overpriced food. Not recommending this to others and definitely not returning. If I could, I would have given this place 0 stars.

It is a very big restaurant. They serve Chinese, Japanese and Thai food. Their menu is great. They have a good variety vegetarian options. Some of the portions are for two so be careful when you order. The quality of the food and service on the other hand is mediocre. I may not go to this restaurant again.

Not a worthy place to eat good Chinese dishes, way to expensive! 非常不值! Ordered a very common dish of combination of a "barbecue pork & duck rice dish" (一碗双拼烧味饭上放三小块烧肉和三小块烧鸭,外加几条芥兰菜,一小碗例汤), there were 3 slices of port, 3 slices of duck on a bowl of white rice, plus few green vegi, a small bowl of soup of the day, it was over $17... the port and duck was not fresh, and were not made in the house, but came from other barbecue house (烧腊也不是店里新鲜做的,是这店从别的烧腊铺进的,味道已不好,不香脆). In comparison, such an equal amount of foods in some other good Chinese eateries could only range from around $8 to $12 in total. Will not come back, bad choice. 并不好吃也太贵了!

Nice, casual place for a simple Chinese meal. Nothing fancy inside and servers are fairly nice but some may not be very attentive. Good selection of dishes but the fried or soup noodles are what I would recommend as they are less common than the rest but some others (i.e. spare ribs, fried squid, tofu,...) are good too. Prices are reasonable for the dishes but in the medium range. Overall, a decent place to go for a meal every so often if casual Chinese meals are up your alley.

Exceptional, welcoming service. Food is amazing - try the Ebisu roll. They get torched right in front of you! Have great happy hour deals as well.

The food is decent at best, but the service is ABSOLUTELY ATROCIOUS.
A lot of the waitresses don't speak Japanese, and speak VERY minimal English, so you have to repeat your order many times. If you speak Korean, however, ordering your food will be infinitely easier.
After waiting 35 minutes for an appetizer, I figured they forgot the order and reminded my server. She apologized, and said she would put the order in. We waited another 20 minutes and I asked the same server for the ETA on the appy, and she said she forgot to put the order in AGAIN.
Another 20 minutes later, I asked for the manager who came and said there were no more orders for our table. I told him the situation and he said he would comp the dish for us (which was a nice gesture, but didn't change anything as we were already extremely upset).
The Ebisu on Broadway is incomparably better; you're better off driving across the bridge and just dining there.

It's a great place, it's nice looking restaurant with amazing staff. They are all so polite and nice. Also fast, the food come fast on table. Food is great as well. Looking great, tasting great as well. I totally love their dynamite and California roll, salmon roll is great too. They really make effort so the sushi looks great on plates. Their truffle fries are great, spicy tuna and tacos. For happy hour their prices are great. You can get 2 sushi rolls for 7$. And many choices! I will come again.

Incredible sushi for a great price. The 3 piece "your choice" menu(~$15) is incredible value! It's also awesome to look over downtown Vancouver. Anyone who wants a high-end experience even on a student budget should go here.

Service was REALLY slow.

Wanted to grab a quick bite with a big group and they seated us right away... except the booth was made for probably 8 people maximum.

They said they had a group that was about to leave and we would be moving there once they had the table prepped. We waited for half an hour. We then threatened to leave and they insisted we order and when the food comes the table would be ready.

Surely enough we get our food before we get seated at our table. We had to wait another 15 minutes to finally get seated. And to add, we had to move our food ourselves.

We immediately asked for our bill and that did not come for another half an hour... and of course with a big group “the computer automatically adds gratuity”...

Decent place with good food but service needs to be better.
