Great motel in a convenient location! The room was clean and comfortable, with a cozy queen bed and perfect pillows—exactly what we needed after a long day of driving. Ample towels provided with good water pressure in the shower. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. We’ll definitely be adding Trunk Rd Motel in Sault Ste Marie to our list of go-to stops for future drives across Canada.

Dated decor but clean with newer mattresses. Expect a 2.5 star and you won't be disappointed. Friendly owner who's happy to share local knowledge and point you to a good restaurant. About $20/night over-priced, but when everything in town is full, they can charge whatever the market will pay.

Great place to rest a weary traveler. Comfortable bed, clean room. I forgot something in the room when I left, management had it in the mail the next day at no cost to me. Thanks very much. Highly recommend.

Quotes one price and told no need to reserve and when I arrived the next evening it was thirty per cent more and not full. Dirty trick and absolute denial of originally quoted price.

Staff was incredibly nice! My only minor issue was the room temperature. We’re currently entering the cold season so when I arrived and the heat was off all the way, the room was frigid. I turned the heat up and it took a couple hours to fully warm up inside. BRRRR!

An exceptional little motel that I would highly recommend for a night or two stop over. Biggest and only issue was that bathroom door did not close properly. Obviously a simple maintenance item that did not cause any real issues with our stay. Bed is extremely comfortable, room was spotless and well appointed. I will be staying there again next time I am in t Sault Ste Marie

Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean, even the walls looked recently painted. Bed was comfortable and furniture was in good condition. I stayed an extra day. Good restaurant next door and a Tim Hortons a short walk away.

The rooms have obviously been renovated and are very well maintained. Towels were clean and fresh. The room was neat and well appointed with new lighting. Good mattresses and multiple pillows.

Shower - bathroom seems fresh and I like the shale like design.
Bedroom area freshly painted - looks spiffy
Tv, desk, drawers, microwave, coffee pot ( we made a tea pot) fridge, hangers, luggage rack and 6 hooks on the wall ( which we found handy) WIFI

Servuce could be faster and definately a better way for ordering. Add a mobile pick up counter to you stores and it eould make ordering food that much easier. Thr drive through windows tend to tske there time and sometimes dont watch what meals are going out the drive thru windows. Then when brought back in ive had an occurance where they tried to say that that was my order but clearly i ordered a different meal. 5 stars when your service becomes alot better and faster.

Chris should be fired for his pathetic customer service. His excuse for a burger that was prepared flat out incorrectly? "Teenagers work here." Teenagers can't follow instructions posted above the grill? I mean, Chris can't follow instructions and he got promoted to manager. That is what should be expected of the service here. You will get your food faster if you drive to another restaurant.

I got food that was ice cold after standing in the lobby for 10 minutes as the only paying customer. All the employees stood infront of the counter and got served first. My large fry was the size of a small fry and my maple cheddar chicken got a small piece of lettuce like a toonie size and a half green tomatoe. The manager Chris completely dismissed me and was rude. His answer to my complaint was "we are not a 5 star restaurant, teenagers work here". I worked there as a crew trainer for 5 years so I should know the service that we are to be giving guests. He laughed and said "teenagers man..." Really quality management. Glad I wasted my time, gas, and money. Never going there again.

Extremely slow every time I go there. Order mistakes 1/2 the time but because of the slow service it isn't even worth it to go back and have it corrected. I'm done with this location. I would not recommend stopping here.

I'm not sure if people realize that there are only 2 service people at night....so when the clock strikes 11pm service will be slower at least 9min average wait the more you order the more time it takes to prepare. That includes the person that is in front of you. The food does not just magically prepare itself. I love the night staff they have a special sense of humor and always friendly!
