I booked the hotel for my parents' getway weekend in Quebec. Mehdi at the front desk was very kind and thoughtful and went out of his way to acommodate my parents and make sure their stay was comfortable and memorable. Really exceptional service and attentiveness which we really appreciate seeing from a hotel. The hotel itself is quite nice with beautifully designed rooms in a central location - only a few minutes walk to the boardwalk and the Chateau. Highly recommended.

Absolutely fantastic stay! The staff were lovely and helpful from start to finish. The breakfast was delicious and we really loved the selection of coffee. Room was spotless and beautiful. I found the location convenient and close to all the must sees in Quebec City. Thank you again for such a great stay.

Hotel Cap Diamant is a quaint hotel with a great location and great vibe! Rooms have chic decor and very cozy. Very comfy bed. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this hotel.

Honestly, the loveliest little hotel—more along the lines of a bed & breakfast! The entire place was spotless, the staff was beyond friendly and attentive, there were amazing little extras that many places wouldn’t have even thought of, and the location was perfect!

Location is great and all the staff were friendly and helpful. However, the bathroom was the worst of any hotel I have stayed in. It was MAYBE 16 square feet. The sliding barn door provided no sound barrier and did not even cover the whole doorway. The tiny sink with a shelf right above it was almost unusable. The water pressure in the shower was poor and the water was lukewarm - not ideal after spending the day outdoors in -20 degrees Celsius weather.

Extremely exquisite design and decoration, off site outdoor parking lot is very close and convenient. Definitely will come back again.

Beautiful, charming Hotel. Top quality linen sheets high end toiletries. Breakfast was included with a very nice croissant jams.

The rooms are quite nice and staff very helpful. Unfortunately, the main heating was malfunctioning or had not been started (was told both) for the 3 first days of my stay. Reception, hallways and room was very cold even with a wall unit and electric heater they provided. On third day, I had no hot water on the third floor. The manager was nice enough to send me to a neighborring hotel. I understand this is an old building but you would expect it to be functional or otherwise be told about the malfunction and offered to stay knowing this or offered a reimbursement.

I stayed there for one night. They let us check in early by arranging our room (this was very helpful, thank you!) and offered complimentary birthday greeting cards and lotus buiscuits as it was my birthday that day.
Things I liked: The room is spacious.
Service is excellent. I came across 3 staffs at reception and all were friendly. They let us keep luggage in the hotel after checkout. This was helpful. When asked about local attractions, she explained from a local's perspective, which was helpful. They made us feel comfortable and at home. Location is very convenient and close to major attractions.

Very disappointing. The atmosphere and food were extremely out-dated. The food was very expensive, and felt like it should be served from a cheap truck stop. Many of the things advertised are no longer available, and the few options they do have are not very good. The shrimp was freezer burnt and inedible.
The staff was the only saving grace. They were all very kind and helpful, but it could not make up for the awful, over-priced food.

We loved this place!! We went there for breakfast almost every day and for dinner once. The food is good and offers a great variety to include traditional Québécois dishes and the staff is amazing!!

Good food, good service. Became really amusing and nice with the live music later in the evening. A little pricey, but not too bad and nothing out of the ordinary in Old Quebec.

I'm from Quebec. I disliked my experience. The food was ok at best. The cheese cake was not any cheese cake I had ever had, it was spongy and had a weird texture. The service was slow and lacked sync. We were seven, half were served while the rest of us waited another 5 min for our plates. Offering desert took another 15-20 minutes. Again not everyone was served at the same time. Last but not least, the waiter lacked class in his manners and his actions. I was expecting more from a place called "Café de Paris".

Very nice place! The food was fantastic, and service very thoughtful, efficient, and friendly. This place is pretty fancy, but as casual as we were dressed, we were still very welcome to dine there. I'd love to go back and order a full course meal, we just had soup. Very authentic, older building, was a memorable stop for lunch!

This place offered the best French-Canadian food I had during my visit to Quebec. We'll worth the wait, recommend you make a reservation to avoid missing out. The French Onion soup was amazing, and their Maple Syrup Bread Pudding blew my mind.

Great traditional Quebec fare. Great service. Reasonably priced fixed price menu at $20 includes wine or beer. Options to add more money to access the full a la carte menu. Sugar pie and strawberry sorbet were superb. Definitely worth a trip.

Very cozy with a great history. The menu is extremely pricy with very limited courses including wildlife meats for the posted $49.95. Most of the plates in the suggested meal include additional cost to the $49.95 so your meal can become even more expensive than it already is.
That said, the food was well presented, perfectly cooked and very tasty.
As the building was built in 1676, many people that have an interest in history may appreciate just stopping at the bar for a drink.

For traditional Quebec dishes, this restaurant has the best deal in town. Their $19.95 menu (until 5:45) offers all the local specialties and is an amazing deal with wine, starter, main, and dessert - really, it was too much food! Everything I tried was exceptional and the service was perfect. The atmosphere was lovely, as well!

It is cool place to have a really good time. Food is amazing. Lots of choice. The food is too much to finish it so that why I did not enjoy the dessert. I want try the dessert next time I visit Quebec city.the price is a little bit high. The service is fantastic.

Atmosphere of a very classy restaurant. Went for Christmas and before proposal. Mains are cooked in front of you. Filet mignon was pretty good, shrimps and snails too. Have a complimentary valet parking too

Wonderful! Dining here was a great experience, straight out of "Mad Men". We loved the in-the-shell escargot, made at the table Caesar salad, and our entrees. I had the steak tartar. It was delicious! I've always wanted to try it, and I enjoyed it immensely. I would have liked a better selection of beers, but the wine list was extensive.

Still an excellent place to have dinner if you're in Old Quebec City definitely go here to eat it's like you step back in time with your parents and grandparents and went to that great restaurant you all used to go to together once a year and look forward to

Old school French cuisine with a somewhat outsized reputation. The food is good and the experience was definitely unique given restaurants like this are increasingly harder to find. Four stars instead of five because: sitting upstairs was not as cool as being in the main dining room on the first floor, the vibe and atmosphere was lacking. Like I said the food was good, but not to the level of great. I am being very picky because of their reputation and my own high expectations. If you are in Quebec you should absolutely come here at least once.
