Overall, a great experience at this historic hotel. The location is excellent, making it very convenient to get around.
This hotel is a must-stay when visiting Old Quebec City, highly recommended. The views from the windows are stunning, and the surroundings of the hotel offer 360-degree picturesque scenery without a single blind spot.
I had a truly memorable stay at this iconic hotel in Quebec City. The property has a timeless, classic charm and is especially well-known among Korean visitors as a filming location for the K-drama Goblin, which made the experience even more special.
The room was very comfortable, with a cozy bed and a beautiful blend of heritage character and modern touches throughout the hotel. You can really feel...
The hotel environment is very good.
Lovely Experience, everyone was so welcoming, place is very historic
I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful, historic hotel, perfectly located in the heart of Old Québec.
My suite was spacious, spotless, and offered a stunning city view. I especially enjoyed relaxing at Bar 1608 with crafted cocktails and beautiful scenery.
The lobby, bar, and restaurants were lively even in the off season. Service was excellent throughout, from valet and reception to Bar 1608 and...

The view was great! I booked a city view room and the night view was beautiful. We even got to see the sunset as our room faced west! The facilities and service were pretty good, and the staff were very friendly. When we ran out of water, we could just get more from the front desk. The only downside was that the soundproofing wasn't great, probably because our room was close to the elevator.
My stay at the Hilton Quebec during my first visit to Quebec City was a fantastic choice. The hotel’s prime location next to the parliament made sightseeing incredibly convenient. Walking to Old Quebec is manageable downhill, though returning uphill can be steep—taxis are readily available for those who prefer.
The front desk staff were welcoming and attentive, though I found the concierge service...
Stayed here for the Carnival and 10/10 would recommend. Beautiful room, excellent friendly staff. Great location. The premiums we paid for parking (+valet) were reasonable, considering it is so busy in the area. I can't wait to come back and will remember the hotel as an exceptional one.
Some of the best views of old quebec city. Easy walks to many restaurants. Service has been kind and helpful. The rooms are updated and the beds are comfortable. Heated pool and gym are available.
You need to check if breakfast is included in your booking. Coffee shop is in the lobby.
It's simple to drive to and from with a public parking close by. I recommend velvet for both summer and winter...
This Thanksgiving, my friends and I came to Quebec to experience a ******* fairytale, and I specifically booked a corner king room to get a 360-degree, unobstructed view of Quebec City's beauty! It was absolutely worth it! Much more stunning than the regular city view room my friend booked! Especially the moment we watched the sunrise over Quebec in the morning 🌅! Amazing!
We stayed for 3 nights and celebrated New Years. The service and food was perfect. The room was comfortable (with big windows) for our family of 3. We stayed in a room with Parliament view. For New Years Eve we could hear the Electric Music Festival and watch the beautiful midnight fireworks from our window. We danced and celebrated while being warm inside (it was -23°F outside that night). The breakfast...

Not bad at all! The room was spacious, very clean, and quiet, so I had a really comfortable night's sleep. I'd definitely recommend this hotel. The location is great too, very convenient for getting around.
We stayed at Hotel Le Concorde during Winter Carnaval, and had a wonderful experience. The location was perfect, the bed super comfortable and shower was hot and had great pressure. Oh and the view? Incredible! But the unexpected highlight might have been the lost and found experience. We left while three busses full of people were also checking out, so loading up our vehicle was a bit chaotic. We...
Hotel was ok. Check in was easy. Rooms are a bit old. But it’s was good enough for two nights stay. Very close walking distance to everything
Good:
-Location was amazing, for old Quebec
-shower pressure was great
-views were amazing
Bad:
-They service huge groups (bands, hockey teams) and they ALLLLL check in at once. Multiple times we couldn’t get back to our room because the line for the elevator went all the way through the lobby.
-the floors were gross. Old an poorly installed laminate, we had over 1cm gaps between ends of boards...
We had a wonderful stay at Hôtel Le Concorde Québec. The location is unbeatable—just steps away from Old Québec and several key attractions. The view from our room was stunning, especially at sunset, with the city skyline beautifully lit. The room was clean, cozy, and well-heated, which made our winter visit very comfortable. Staff at the front desk were courteous and efficient, making check-in smooth...
Booked for 1 night. The service was great people were friendly. The rooms needed a little work if you ask me the bed was not made properly which made for a lumpy bottom flat sheet and the 2 flat sheets going around the comforter with the yellow stains weren't wrapped around the comforter properly as I woke up with the yellow stains in my face. The pool was nice and clean. The room was also very dusty...

We stayed at the Hotel Chateau Laurier in March 2026 for about the 15th time for a group of 16 cross country ski trip for a week. The hotel offers a high standard experience at a very good value. We especially like the facilities and amenities like the breakfast, convenience store, pool/suana and the wine dispensers! We will be back!
This is not a fancy hotel but it makes up for it in room size and the modern amenities offered if comparing to a fancier hotel that we've stayed at before like Chateau Frontenac. The room provides you with a large empty fridge a good size closet and the bathroom has body cream shower gel shampoo and conditioner. The room is soundproof the only thing you will hear are footsteps above you if you're staying...
Bathroom amenities can be updated. The hair dryer almost blew up in me and no liquid hand soap
Just Amazing! Everything was clean and the establishment smells wonderful. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Very good hotel, easy to navigate. Only major problem is entrance and exit in the parking sections. Views are magnificent from certain windows. Gives the user a comforting and pleasant feel even when entering. The staff are very polite and helpful, with a major understanding of English. Suitable for French speakers too. Although rooms are expensive, it is very much worth to visit for a night or two...
The hotel is relatively old, but the location is convenient. However, the hotel repeatedly overcharges and wrong charges. I hope the platform can be strengthened.

The place is near to the restaurants and my parents loved the ambiance the only problem we encounter is the temperature access but overall it was all good and clean
At first glance the hotel looks really nice, but close inspection shows that it's pretty beat up and dusty. Pool water was gross and no accessible shower that we could find so that means no one is showering before they go in the pool or the small hot tub. Our Coffee maker constantly leaked out the back and unfortunately I did see the mattresses were gross when the sheets got pulled off by my kids....
We stayed at Hôtel Palace Royal over the Christmas holidays and the experience truly exceeded our expectations. The location is excellent: about a 10-minute walk to Old Québec and roughly 5 minutes uphill to the Quebec Parliament.
Our room on the 10th floor was spacious and comfortable, with two large twin beds, TV, coffee machine (the coffee wasn’t great, but that’s minor), and an ensuite bathroom...
Excellent location and helpful staff. Good sized room with comfortable beds. The mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker were nice to have in the room. We enjoyed the live music in the pool atrium area. The wifi wasn’t great, but we enjoyed our stay!
Took a mini road trip there with the kids and friends. We had a room with a balcony, the kids LOVED it especially when there was music they would sit down and watch. Such a cozy and warm feeling! Beds were comfortable, room size was big and location is perfect! Only downside is you have to pay for parking each day which I think should be covered considering the rates of the room. But other than that...

A bit dated, could use a refresh. Nice restaurant. Clean room.
The room is large and cozy, parking is convenient, the hotel is full of red maples during the Maple Leaf Season, the price/performance ratio is very high, dinner is on the first floor of the hotel, the dishes are good and the service attitude is warm
I was surprised by the $30 resort fee and the $20 parking fee. I hadn't seen anything like that when I made the reservation.
The amabilité of the personnel.
The only thing that was not appropriate for me was walking so far to get to our room because of my health problems.
I loved the cleanliness and location of the hotel. The kids also loved the swimming pool and spa. The staff was friendly and I was very satisfied with the free fresh apples provided in the morning and the free snacks provided at the bar. What needs to be improved is that the TV is so old that you can't connect to Netflix, YouTube, or your phone at all, and the bed mattress is so worn out that two people...

A beautiful Marriott hotel just adjacent to the citadel in old Quebec City. This hotel is right in the heart of all the shops, restaurants and tourist attractions. It has a beautiful spacious lobby with a coffee bar and restaurant with updated comfy rooms. I enjoyed the fitness center and convenient business center. As a proud lifetime Gold Marriott Member, this is one of my desired locations.
I had a wonderful stay here the past weekend. The front desk staff were super friendly and welcoming upon check in and room was clean and comfortable. The location is great! It’s just a short walk to many of the major attractions/locations in the city. I’d definitely stay here again if I come back!
Great location, walkable distance to any major attractions, Christmas markets and ski rink right cross the street. Staffs are very nice!
Conveniently located near the Provincial Parliament building and Grande Allée, at Place d'Youville. It's a 15 minute walk to get to the Vieux Port area through rue Saint Jean. This is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. The location was central to everything we did. Nothing was more than a 15 minute walk away. Our room was big and very clean. My girlfriend and I stayed here over the weekend and we had a tremendous experience! Everyone was very kind and accommodating (shoutout to Alex, Matthew and everyone else). The room was great and housekeeping did an excellent job cleaning up. I would highly recommend :)
From start to finish, our stay was exceptional. The service and the hotel rooms were outstanding—beautifully appointed, comfortable, and impeccably maintained.

The most wonderful stay.
A city such as Quebec, steeped in its rich history, its preserved beauty and its unique charm could not be enjoyed better by staying anywhere else. The Auberge Saint-Antoine has all the appeal of the city itself, with exceptional service and a lovely atmosphere.

We just loved this hotel. While we have stayed at other nice hotels in Quebec City, none of them compare to St Antoine. The ambiance is amazing and on a winter's day to come into the lobby with it's fireplace and welcoming staff was the best. The room, the food, the service and the staff were all 5 stars. Michelin keys on point. Hands down the best hotel in Quebec City.
I don’t usually write hotel reviews, but this was, without question, one of the best stays I’ve had in recent years. Very nice stay! Will stay again
The receptionist very nice and helpful. The room is a very compact and it is shared bathroom. Environment is nice, peaceful and relaxing.
Let me first say that I am not one to leave negative reviews but feel I owe it to my fellow celiacs to bring attention to this issue. This was my second trip to this establishment. Last one was 8 yrs ago.

For the cost this is a very compelling option. The rooms are clean and the staff is very helpful. The addition of some commen spaces makes this more comfortable as the rooms are quite small and sparse.
The room and shared restroom are reasonable clean. I stayed for 7 nights and there is no room service in between. You can request if needed. Parking is easy. There was only one elevator operating, and the wait time could be a bit long. The trail around the lake is nice. The price is good. It is a decent budget stay.
Good price. Good location. Nice view. Fabulous reception staff. Helpful and friendly. But horrible shower with water temperature changing constable without warning and getting me almost burnt to 3rd degree. Extremely noisy outside and damaged window screen with hole in it letting flies get though. And staff repainting outside wall splashing paint all over.
For the price it's good if you're sleeping 1 or 2 nights. My only big issue is the lack of AC. If you're in on a hotter day it will be pretty uncomfortable. If it's a cool night it's not bad at all if you keep the window open. The issue with this is that the cars can be heard pretty clearly from the nearby road. Service was friendly.
Far from the center, without a car it is certainly inconvenient but a great solution to save if you have a car.
The room was really basic and a bit bare, but functional and the bed was comfortable.
In the common room there are microwave and kettle available.
It was not bad but If you come at night it can be a bit difficult to find the hotel

Location is great and all the staff were friendly and helpful. However, the bathroom was the worst of any hotel I have stayed in. It was MAYBE 16 square feet. Stayed here for one night travelling through on our roadtrip. Older, but clean rooms. Great location just off the highway and close to the Quebec-Levis ferry (10mins). Lots of parking which was convenient as we were traveling with a trailer. Mcdonald's and a gas station right across the street made for a quick start the next day.
Very convenient, clean and a great price. An excellent choice for an overnight on a long road trip. The rooms are dated and showing wear but well maintained. We would stay here again.
Good location just off the highway, staff was pretty friendly but that's where the positives end. While the rooms were clean they were very dated and worn. The washroom was narrow with the toilet reminiscent of a kindergarten bathroom, it sat extremely close to the floor making it very difficult to sit. TV is tiny, in the neighborhood of about 28".

It's close to a bus station bringing you to Old Quebec so it's also a plus even if the neighborhood is not the cutest.
It is too costly. I don't understand why there are two queen beds for a couple. The rooms are large but they take a deposit of 200 dollars for a 120 dollar room. Highly recommend this hotel. It’s in a great location for easy walking around the main areas of interest. The room was clean and spacious and there’s a lift so minimal hassle with heavy bags. The bed and pillows were comfortable and there was no noise to disturb sleep. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. I noted parking spaces at ground level which I guess could be booked ahead however...
**Hôtel Le Concorde Québec, Quebec, Canada – A great experience for solo travelers**
This time I traveled to Quebec alone and was very satisfied with the overall experience of staying at the Champlain Hotel! The hotel is in an excellent location, close to the old town and Chateau Fontana. You can explore the main attractions on foot and have a wide view, especially the high-rise rooms overlooking...

This hotel was amazing. The location is perfect - walking distance to everything, the beds are super comfy, breakfast is included and the staff are very friendly, accommodating and helpful. I highly recommend choosing this hotel for your next stay in old Quebec City.
I should not have had to negotiate at time of check-in to get the level of room I had committed to. Once booking receipt evidenced, reception person resolved issue, but should not have happened in the first place.
I had a delightful 3 nights here!
Sophie at the front desk couldn't have been more helpful!
My last dinner was in their outside igloo! So pretty and my waitress, Vanessa, was excellent!
The other wait staff are also to be commended for their service, friendliness, and courtesy.
I was traveling alone, and they all made my trip a wonderful experience.
Thank you!

Excellent location, very clean and staff were all very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Loved our stay!! great choice.
The staff was very kind and helpful during our stay. The room was clean and spacious for the two of us. The location was close to major attractions. The only fault is that since we were there during snow season that our room had more hooks to put our outside gear and coats. Otherwise, everything else was perfect, including our breakfasts.
Spotless and very comfortable room. Front desk staff excellent. The view from 5th floor was wonderful.
