Quebec City Marriott Downtown in Quebec City

A beautiful Marriott hotel just adjacent to the citadel in old Quebec City. This hotel is right in the heart of all the shops, restaurants and tourist attractions. It has a beautiful spacious lobby with a coffee bar and restaurant with updated comfy rooms. I enjoyed the fitness center and convenient business center. As a proud lifetime Gold Marriott Member, this is one of my desired locations.

I had a wonderful stay here the past weekend. The front desk staff were super friendly and welcoming upon check in and room was clean and comfortable. The location is great! It’s just a short walk to many of the major attractions/locations in the city. I’d definitely stay here again if I come back!

Great location, walkable distance to any major attractions, Christmas markets and ski rink right cross the street. Staffs are very nice!

Conveniently located near the Provincial Parliament building and Grande Allée, at Place d'Youville. It's a 15 minute walk to get to the Vieux Port area through rue Saint Jean. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Spacious bathroom equipped with shower, no bath tub. Staff is friendly and helpful. Just wish staff would take the time, at check in, to explain the amenities of the hotel and give the breakfast vouchers when breakfast is included in the reservation. Was there in December. Would probably be back another time.

This is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. The location was central to everything we did. Nothing was more than a 15 minute walk away. Our room was big and very clean. It was on one of the sides that faced the road and there’s quite of bit of outside noise so if you’re a light sleeper, consider that. You can also hear the ice skating music until 10pm… even if you’re on the other side of the hotel. Our children had a queen room that faced a quiet alley and it was much quieter for them. The staff was incredibly kind every time we saw them or needed something. My only complaint two complaints- the buffet. We got there around 9:45 am on a Saturday morning. There were only 2 other tables seated but the tables were all dirty so we got placed at the entry/ hostess stand. It was so uncomfortable eating while guests stood over us waiting. Also, at the time we went there was no waffles or pancakes and the pastries were picked through. Nothing was filled by the time we left but we were still charged $30 pp. With all the bistros and cafes close by, I’d say skip this breakfast! Second- as titanium elite we were given a late check out but weren’t told it was only for one room. When we got back to the hotel to pack up, a cleaning woman was very rude to our children. She spoke angrily in French telling them they need to check out. They had to hurriedly bring all their stuff into our second room.

I would absolutely recommend this hotel just ask questions if you’re a late check out and skip the breakfast

Otherwise, it's quite good.

The hotel is very convenient; there's a food street right downstairs where you can buy almost anything. The rooms are spacious enough to comfortably move around even with two large suitcases fully open.

The service is very friendly. Every time I pass by the front desk, they will come over to see if I need any help. There is a commercial area nearby with everything you need to eat, drink and buy. It is also very convenient to walk to Quebec City Train Station in 10 minutes.
