MeiYe Hotel in Guangzhou

Good for solo travel and location is not so exciting but truly budget friendly and preferable for solo travellers with a low budget yet nice stay.

Good place

Parking is very convenient, with plenty of spaces. I went out to run errands early in the morning and there were still spaces available when I came back. Check-in was quick, the rooms were quite comfortable, the price was very reasonable, the environment was nice, the rooms were clean, and the front desk staff were friendly and provided excellent service.

I wanted to watch the projector, but after calling the front desk, I found out it was broken. They neither informed me beforehand nor repaired it promptly. I stayed for three days with no issues whatsoever. Even though it was a discounted room, I should at least be a customer. I found hair on the bed when I opened the covers; someone with OCD would probably find that unbearable. Otherwise, it was okay. Also, a heads-up: the discounted room doesn't have a window. Staying in there for a while can cause a feeling of having your day and night reversed; your biological system might mistake it for daytime at night and make it hard to sleep.

The best hotel I've ever stayed in, bar none! The service was so attentive it felt like home, and the mattress was so comfortable I fell asleep instantly. I'll definitely come back.

I didn't have high expectations for budget hotels, but this one completely changed my mind! Absolutely great value for money! 🌟 Cleanliness is the biggest highlight: the room was spotless, the floors were gleaming, and the bathroom was free of water stains or hair. The sheets and pillowcases had a fresh, sun-dried scent, which was a huge plus!

🚇 Super convenient transportation: there's a bus stop just to the right of the hotel, and it's a direct subway line to Chimelong. When I checked in late at night, the receptionist kindly helped me with my luggage—a small but heartwarming gesture. I slept soundly until I naturally woke up. If you're looking for "cleanliness, convenience, and no disappointments," this is the place to go. For budget hotel prices, you get a near-mid-range hotel experience. I've already recommended it to my colleagues! I'll definitely stay here again, and I hope they maintain this standard!

The room is clean and tidy, the price is affordable, the front desk service is very good, and it is close to the surrounding tourist attractions. If you go to Chimelong, you can stay in this hotel. The subway is just one station away. Our room is also very large, and the projection screen is also clear. My friend was very happy to eat while traveling and looking at the projection screen. I recommend it.

The breakfast was varied, with both Chinese and Western options, and the food was delicious. Room service was prompt and everything I needed was delivered quickly. The overall environment was quiet and not noisy, and the value was excellent. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area, and I recommend it to anyone planning a trip. The front desk lady even gave me milk and hand cream. 🤩

The projector in the room I initially booked was broken, and the Wi-Fi was terrible. The receptionist said the room was in a remote location, hence the poor Wi-Fi. We were then moved to a room with a projector, but the Wi-Fi was still bad. The projector wasn't broken, but the poor Wi-Fi meant I couldn't watch anything. The receptionist refunded the projector fee, suggesting I buy a data package myself. I bought a 20 yuan data package, but I can't even use it all. Anyway, I had a lot of bad luck. The hairdryer was a handheld type in the first room, but in this room it was a hook type, I couldn't even find it! Hilarious! 😂

This was my first time in Guangzhou. I was here recently on a business trip and found this hotel on Ctrip. My company is nearby, and this hotel is very close to the subway station, only a few hundred meters away, making it very convenient. There are also many shops along the street, and lots of delicious food near the subway station in the evening. The hotel is great value for money. First, the price is very affordable, only around 100 RMB. Second, the receptionist was gentle, sweet, and very pretty, with excellent service. I don't speak much Cantonese, and she patiently taught me a few phrases. She was incredibly warm, friendly, and loved to joke around. She was always ready to help with anything I needed. When I left and returned to the hotel, she would greet me and ask how my stay was, how my trip was going, and remind me about the weather. Finally, although the hotel only has two floors, it's quite comfortable, suitable for business travelers and tourists. They even have dessert in the afternoon! I heard the dessert is different every day. I tried it for two days; the first day I had mung bean dessert, and the second day I had white fungus and papaya dessert, both very sweet and delicious. Free parking is available for guests, and the parking lot is large and very convenient. I would definitely come back next time.
