Zhuhai Dehan Hotel in Zhuhai

Rooms are rather old and not well furnished but very near the beach which is why we booked.

Excellent location. Near the beach and other tourist spots. Hotel is classic. Old furnitures but still okay. Only have strong smell upon entry to our floor because of the old carpet. Check in and check out are quick easy transactions.

Facilities: It's an old hotel, so the facilities are relatively dated.
Hygiene: Overall, the hygiene was quite good.
Environment: Very close to the seaside, which was fantastic.
Service: The service was also pretty good. The only minor issue was that food delivery couldn't be brought up to the room.
Recommended.

The facilities are a bit old, but the sea view is fantastic, and you're right on the beach, making it a great spot for a vacation. Parking is super convenient, and there are even charging stations, which is a big plus for electric vehicles.

The hotel is clean and well-maintained. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially the lovely ladies and gentlemen at the reception. Their warm service made us feel right at home. We'll definitely choose to stay here again next time.

This hotel had two standout positives:
1. **Excellent Location:** It's incredibly close to the beach. Downstairs, there are public buses to all the attractions, as well as tour buses.
2. **Great Convenience:** Staying here felt very convenient. They provided a full range of items, such as free rental of sand-digging tools, tape for sending packages, nail clippers, plastic slippers, and chargers – truly everything you could need.

However, there were also two significant negatives:
1. **Cigarette Smoke in the Room:** When trying to sleep, there was a persistent smell of cigarette smoke around the bed. Of course, this isn't the hotel's fault directly, but rather due to inconsiderate guests smoking in the room. The smoke had absorbed into the velvet headboard and carpet. This really highlights the need for the hotel to implement stricter management and clearly enforce a no-smoking policy in the rooms.
2. **Poor Soundproofing:** Late at night, I could constantly hear loud shouting, laughing, and yelling from the neighboring room. Again, this was due to encountering rude guests.

This hotel has a great location in Zhuhai if you want to go to the beach. There is a shopping mall next to it which is ok, and there are many Chinese restaurants everywhere. Breakfast is standard Chinese, so fine. The hotel itself is good. The bed was awesome too, King-size. I requested a room with balcony but we didn't get one. Smoking is not allowed, so you have to go outside the lobby area to do it. It's a standard hotel. Oh it has a swimming pool, but the kind of dedicated to sports swimming, not recreational swimming.

Great location, right on the beach and next to the Love Post Office. There are plenty of dining options nearby, with noodle shops across the street and fancier restaurants downstairs. The hotel itself is an older luxury style, with spacious rooms that show a bit of their age – you can tell it was once grand. There's often a Bentley parked by the lobby entrance, haha. It's a good choice for families with kids.

This stay in Zhuhai was fantastic. The location is perfect—restaurants everywhere, the beach directly across the street, and beautiful views right from the window. The area feels fresh and relaxing, and many of Zhuhai’s most scenic, photogenic spots are either within walking and biking distance or just a quick five-minute taxi ride away.

The hotel itself had everything we needed: on-site restaurants, a swimming pool, and a weight room. It truly felt like a one-stop shop for my family and me. This was our first visit to Zhuhai, and this hotel is a big reason we’ll definitely be coming back—and staying in the exact same location.

A beautiful stay from start to finish.
