Four Seasons Hotel Shenzhen in Shenzhen

I've lost count of how many times I've stayed here; it must be over 30 now, and every single time, the staff has been incredibly warm and welcoming. This visit, I saw Mara, who, despite being busy, still greeted me politely. Rachael helped me with check-in, which was super fast, and I even got to use my exclusive card package from a previous stay, which was a nice touch. The room was fantastic, and I received a thoughtful welcome gift from the Executive Lounge staff shortly after arriving! Chadi, the hotel's General Manager (if I may), even wrote a personal card, which was a very thoughtful gesture. I recently stayed at the Four Seasons Guangzhou, located at the top of the Guangzhou IFC with views of Canton Tower. While it's comparable to the Four Seasons Shenzhen in terms of location and facilities, I still prefer the Shenzhen property; it just feels so comfortable and natural. This was my last stay before the ***** New Year, and I'm already looking forward to returning in the Year of the Horse. Happy New Year! P.S. I also tried Zhuo Yue Xuan on the 3rd floor this time and highly recommend the lobster mapo tofu – it was excellent!

The room was quite spacious! The reception staff were also very welcoming! It was convenient to go downstairs for a stroll and eat. The weather was great, and it only took a ten-minute walk to Futian High-speed Railway Station! The surrounding transportation is also very convenient!

The service, hygiene, and facilities at Four Seasons are all good. There are many restaurant options nearby. On weekend nights, the KTVs in the vicinity can be quite loud and go on past midnight. I'm not sure how this is regulated locally, and I hope to see some improvement.

On vacation in Shenzhen, I missed my return flight. For the first few days, I stayed at the Kaisa Marriott (far from the airport, by the sea), but I didn't want to travel back and forth and risk missing another flight. So, I found a nice hotel nearby. I have to say, the Four Seasons Shenzhen truly lives up to its name. When I checked in, the front desk attendant was incredibly friendly and approachable, which was a refreshing change from the cold, robotic service at some other hotels – definitely worth praising. Then there's the lobby, the natural light is absolutely unbeatable! There's a grand piano next to the bar, and we happened to see someone playing it. The soft sunlight streaming in made for a truly delightful scene, giving me an excellent first impression of the hotel. As for the room, I was very pleased with the fantastic sound quality of the speakers and the superb view. Although it wasn't on a high floor (I personally prefer staying in very tall hotels), the high-rises opposite perfectly conveyed the hustle and bustle of Shenzhen. The hotel's location is also excellent; the Ritz is directly opposite the Four Seasons, it's only about ten kilometers from the airport, and there's a pedestrian street right next door, making it incredibly convenient to go anywhere. Around 10 PM, we had a few cocktails at the lobby bar, and the atmosphere was super chill. Now, for some minor suggestions after listing the pros. First, the lobby bar closes way too early! It stops service at 11 PM. The front desk attendant even joked, "I also think drinks should be enjoyed until the early morning hours." I hope the bar can stay open until midnight so we can relax, chat, and enjoy the Shenzhen vibe a bit longer. Also, I hope the doormen can be a bit more attentive. Since there were four of us arriving in a business van, and each of us had luggage, I wished the doorman would react more quickly and have two more people help with our bags, instead of just one person deliberating on how to carry all our luggage. But these are minor issues. All in all, this Four Seasons experience was a quintessential luxury hotel stay. I hope the hotel continues to strive and maintain the Four Seasons' reputation and service. I look forward to even more delightful surprises on my next stay.

Spent the night during New Year’s Eve. Didn’t really have an issue with anything, room was spacious, location is convenient. Only problem I had was the bar downstairs was playing loud music loud enough for me to hear upstair. But it was New Year’s Eve so it was forgivable.

Service: I absolutely have to highlight this! If you're big on hotel service, you can't go wrong with this place. We arrived quite early after flying from Nanjing to Shenzhen, and there was a huge temperature difference. The staff were incredibly patient, helped us with our room, and even proactively asked if we needed a place to change clothes. Ms. Nancy was so gentle and patient during check-in, and her handwritten welcome card really touched me. The local tourist map she provided was also super useful. Plus, the duty manager at the front desk that day was very helpful, sharing insights about the nearby commercial areas – truly excellent!

Ambiance: The hotel's location is fantastic, right opposite the Futian Exhibition Center. You don't have to worry about food, drinks, or entertainment, as everything is easily accessible. Getting around is convenient, and there's even a border crossing nearby for trips to Hong Kong.

Facilities: Four Seasons is a relatively well-established hotel in Shenzhen. After staying at one in Hong Kong, I was curious to experience their mainland China offering. It has everything you'd expect, and it all works perfectly. I was very satisfied. Especially noteworthy is the bathroom floor – it's anti-slip but not abrasive, so no need for a bath mat, and the drainage is incredibly fast. It's the best experience and most functional bathroom I've encountered in a hotel so far (my focus points might be a bit odd, I know!).

My two stays at Four Seasons have truly won me over. I'm already looking forward to my next visit! This trip to Shenzhen was delightful and comfortable.

I was torn between the Four Seasons and the Ritz Carlton. I saw some reviews saying the Four Seasons was old and not soundproof, so I considered switching to the Ritz, but missed the deadline. So, I decided to give the Four Seasons a try. When I arrived, there were no rooms available, but the front desk promised to call me back. As soon as I went for lunch, they called to say the room was ready – very efficient! The room itself was super clean, not old or stained as some online reviews suggested. The bedding was also very soft, and I slept well at night; despite a bar downstairs, the soundproofing was actually quite good. Every staff member was polite and very friendly. I'll definitely stay here again for my next business trip.

Amenities: The swimming pool and gym were clean and tidy.

Service: Patient, meticulous, and thoughtful.

The Four Seasons Shenzhen is truly one of the best hotels in the city. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly and attentive staff. Rachel, who assisted us during check-in, was exceptionally kind and helpful. Upon learning that we were in Shenzhen to celebrate our anniversary, she kindly upgraded our room and arranged a beautiful surprise with rose decorations and a cake. Thank you to the Four Seasons team for making our anniversary so special and memorable.
The hotel is conveniently located near subway stations and Coco Park, making it very easy to get around. We initially planned to stay for three nights, but due to the hotel’s excellent location, comfort, and outstanding service, we decided to extend our stay by an additional two nights. The Four Seasons is now our top choice in Shenzhen, and we will definitely stay here again on our next visit.
The only disappointment during our stay was the limited minibar selection, and the fact that soft drinks were charged. This did not quite meet our expectations for a five-star hotel.

The service was generally good and the staff were very polite. The buffet was fairly good but the bread was not good especially the croissants lacked the texture and taste. The elevators serving the lobby, the reception area and the hotel rooms were a bit slow resulting in long waiting times. The hotel is located in the CBD with good accessibility and connections to the mass transit system.
