Overall it was ok , We liked the room’s location and that they had a telescope that my kid enjoyed using , bathroom was big enough. On the other hand the room was very old , worn down and had some stuffiness in the air

The front desk lady upgraded our room to the 36th floor with a fantastic view ☺☺☺, and there's even a capsule coffee machine! The cleaning staff (Auntie) was very thorough; she even left four bottles of water for me and my child, worried we wouldn't have enough 😄😄

The high-floor views are excellent. I was short on time, so I didn't get to experience the gym or pool. Cleanliness was great; it was very well-maintained

The butler also followed up on my stay to ensure everything was satisfactory. They always responded to my requests promptly. They even helped me print my child's homework and assisted with sending a package

As for the facilities, the hotel isn't newly renovated, but the rooms are spacious and still offer standard 5-star amenities. I forgot to take photos, but you can pretty much go by the official website

You should consider Hilton Nanjing (Wanda) if location and transit are important, even though there are 10+ bus routes at the Agricultural Trade Center (15-minute walk, including navigating through a few alleys)

This is my go-to hotel for business trips. It's right by the Yangtze River, and the air quality feels great. The toiletries are Crabtree & Evelyn, a brand I personally use, and the stay is always quiet and comfortable.

It is obviously impossible to know exactly what the trigger was but we have had a similar experience in another hotel that had carpets in the rooms and we believe the excess dust in the carpets and less than adequate ventilation does increase the risk for asthmatics
