Although I only stayed one night in Nanjing, the hotel staff provided excellent service. They even gave us a Chinese knot after we checked out.

Kids absolutely loved the Octonauts theme! They had a blast with the magnetic darts and bouncy balls. The freshly baked bread for breakfast was a nice touch, and they even gave us some Yuhua stone dumplings, which my child really enjoyed. The service was excellent too.

The hotel's central location was very convenient for getting around. The hotel itself was a bit old, but the service was good. Overall, I was quite satisfied, though I felt the price wasn't worth it without breakfast included.

Overall, a great hotel! I've been having some neck pain recently, and they provided a lower latex pillow which was a thoughtful touch. A special shout-out to Xia at the breakfast restaurant; her service was incredibly attentive and thorough. She even specially brought us some Yuhua Tangyuan and sesame pancakes. When we were leaving, she also gave the kids some snacks and drinks.

Exceeded expectations! I was a bit worried when booking that the hotel might show its age with outdated facilities or subpar hygiene, but it turned out to be a wonderful surprise. The lobby greeted me with a lovely fragrance, truly showcasing the enduring charm of a seasoned five-star hotel. You can really feel the thoughtfulness and grandeur that went into its construction. I noticed that every room seems to have a balcony, which adds a fantastic outdoor space and brightens the mood considerably. It felt like a scene right out of 'Breakfast at Tiffany's' – imagining pulling open the curtains in the morning and enjoying a cup of coffee. Definitely a strong thumbs up! Both cleanliness and service were top-notch, and the 'Deluxe View' room I booked even came with a bathtub. Plus, the location is unbeatable; you can even see the Deji Plaza right across the street from the balcony. Highly recommend!

The service was excellent and very thoughtful. I saw the hotel's dedication to service and respect for guests reflected in one of the cleaning staff. When I left in the morning, the auntie thoughtfully told me about nearby attractions. Knowing I was checking out in the afternoon, she told me I could extend my check-out time and rest a bit longer. I said I'd leave at 2 PM, and to my surprise, she was waiting for me at the door when I left, helping me with my bags. The standard of service truly is the customer experience. This is my second time staying at this hotel, and I will definitely choose it again next time I visit!

The room was tiny, and the decor was really outdated. The TV was minuscule with no channels at all – do they expect guests to pay for a VIP subscription or something? The soundproofing was terrible; every time the neighbors closed their door in the middle of the night, it sounded like someone opened mine. To top it off, my room was like a 'water curtain cave' – there was a constant leak from upstairs. So annoying!

The hotel's location is excellent, right across from Deji Plaza. However, the facilities are old and the space is quite cramped. It doesn't really feel like a star-rated hotel, and they're also undergoing renovations.

Service: The service has really gone downhill compared to before, I'm not sure what happened. Trying to pick up a delivery package was a nightmare, with everyone passing the buck (the front desk told me to find someone in the lobby outside, then that person told me to find someone specific by the main entrance).
I booked for two nights, but the room key was only programmed for one. Luckily, I ran into a cleaning lady, otherwise, I would have had to go up and down again. The rooms they assign are always in really out-of-the-way locations.
Facilities: Also, the original restaurant, which was on the 5th floor or so, is apparently under renovation. It's now moved to the 2nd floor, and the breakfast selection has gotten much smaller; my favorite duck blood vermicelli soup is gone.
Cleanliness: There's only tissue paper in the bathroom, nowhere else in the room! That's incredibly inconvenient.
Environment: For a supposed five-star hotel, the service is a significant downgrade from what it used to be. I really don't understand why.

The location is excellent, right opposite Deji Plaza. The staff were very friendly. However, the room wasn't very clean; some corners were quite dirty. The facilities are also a bit old, and the low ceiling made the room feel a bit cramped.
