Marriott Yantai Hotel in Dalian

The weather wasn't great during our stay, but I was completely sold on the sea view room and balcony! The hotel is surrounded by a forest in front and the beach in back. You can be on the sand and playing in the waves within minutes, which is perfect for families with kids. Our room's large balcony faced the ocean directly, and being woken up by the sound of the waves every day was incredibly therapeutic. 🏖️ The room was spacious and clean with a very practical layout, and the bedding was super soft and comfortable for a great night's sleep. The hotel even offered a complimentary travel photography session; the first five photos were free, and the photographer was amazing at capturing candid shots. We got stunning ocean view photos without even having to find our own spots! 📸

The front desk staff, especially Airla, provided exceptional service. Check-in was super fast, and she gave us tons of tips for local attractions. If you're vacationing in Yantai, choosing this place is a guaranteed win! 💖

When I travel, Marriott is usually my first choice because you really can't go wrong; five-star hotels generally deliver. This one was no exception – excellent location right by the beach, truly a room with an ocean view. My only regret is that it rained during my stay, so I missed out on the beautiful sea and sunrise 🌅. I hope to come back and stay longer next time!

We booked the Marriott Yantai for our trip to Yantai, having seen its incredibly high ratings and saves online, and we wanted to try it out ourselves! And sure enough, our stay was absolutely fantastic! The room layout was airy and elegant, with a light luxury style in pale wood tones that felt clean and sophisticated. Every detail was immaculately kept. The floor-to-ceiling windows paired with a scenic balcony allowed us to enjoy the Bohai Bay seascape from our room. We watched the sunrise in the morning and the sunset in the evening, with the gentle sea breeze being incredibly therapeutic. The bedding was just the right firmness, and they even provided children's amenities for our kid. It was comfortable for sleeping, and the soundproofing was excellent; we drifted off to sleep with the sound of the waves. The bathroom facilities were complete, with stable hot water and quality toiletries. Koala at the front desk provided thoughtful and attentive service, making the check-in process efficient, warm, and polite. The hotel is right next to Golden Beach, giving it a complete resort feel. It's perfect for both a relaxing getaway and family trips. Highly recommend! The seafood restaurant next door was also cheap and delicious! It would be even better if there were a kids' play area!!!

Traveling with friends, we followed a guide and chose the Xin Guang Marriott Hotel because of its highly-rated balconies – and it definitely lived up to the hype! When we checked in, the front desk staff, Airla, helped us switch rooms. The new room had a beautiful view 🤩 and was perfect for photos! On the third floor, the gym and leisure facilities also have floor-to-ceiling windows with direct sea views, which is an absolute dream for anyone who loves ocean views! The hotel boasts a 24-hour ocean-view fitness center, facing the sparkling sea, allowing you to take in the magnificent seascape while you work out. Plus, if you're traveling with kids, they even provide children's sand toys 🪀, which is a really nice touch and great for family trips to the beach for some sandcastle fun!

The room was very comfortable and quite spacious. Although the facilities weren't brand new, everything was clean and tidy. The view was absolutely stunning, especially since the room faced the beach directly. The hotel even provided sand toys, which kept the kids entertained. Breakfast was plentiful, and all the staff members were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

The Yantai Shimao Marriott Hotel truly exemplifies high-end quality in both its service and facilities. Mango, a staff member, was particularly warm, polite, efficient, and attentive. The check-in and check-out processes were professional and smooth, and any requests were promptly and thoughtfully addressed. The hotel's public areas are clean and elegant, with exquisite garden landscaping. The lounge areas are comfortable and grand, creating an overall stylish ambiance that makes staying here a delightful and respectable experience. It's also very convenient for families with children; the beach is right downstairs, so there's no need to cross any roads, which is very safe. Kids can easily dig in the sand. We were very satisfied with our stay and will definitely come back if we have the chance.

Our family trip's stay here was excellent. Jolin at the front desk was incredibly warm, thoughtful, and patient. She made our check-in efficient and considerate, really looking out for families traveling with children. In our free time, we enjoyed strolling through the hotel grounds, which were beautifully scenic with stunning views and a wonderful ambiance. The attentive service combined with the lovely surroundings made our family's trip exceptionally comfortable and pleasant. We genuinely commend Jolin for her professional and warm service and highly recommend this place for family getaways.

A very pleasant stay! Staff friendly and helpful. The restaurant and pool were great. A quiet and peaceful area.

I chose to stay at the Yantai Xinguang Marriott Hotel for my trip to Yantai, and my experience after checking in was fantastic! The hotel's location is excellent, with a black pine forest in front and Golden Beach right out the back. The weather was perfect, making everything look incredibly beautiful, and it was great for photos. A walk on the beach at night was super relaxing. When I checked in, Airla at the front desk was very helpful and knowledgeable. She told me a lot about the hotel's amenities and recommended a travel photoshoot, which turned out really well. Any requests I had for the room were promptly fulfilled. The breakfast on the second floor had a good variety too. Plus, the hotel offers sand-digging toys, which is perfect for families with kids on vacation – they have great family-friendly facilities. And the prices here are quite reasonable. I genuinely highly recommend it!
