Very central location. Pleasant service and hotel decor. Very good breakfast with a wide variety of selection. Also the indoor pool is well-equipped and perfect for swimming even in cold weather.

The enduring charm of a classic five-star hotel truly shines through. After staying in many new hotels, returning to this old-money style establishment felt like a breath of fresh air

She clearly explained taxi routes and walking directions and even reminded us to be careful when going out at night. She was truly as considerate as a friend. Walking into the room, I was immediately impressed

I had a sudden business trip to Dalian this time, and after a long and tiring journey, I was so relieved and grateful to stay at the Shangri-La Hotel, Dalian again

She proactively communicated with me about my check-in preferences, and knowing I was on a business trip, she specifically helped me reserve a quiet room not facing the street, so I wouldn't be disturbed at night or during the day while working

It was incredibly comfortable to stay in, and the bedding was clean, tidy, and very soft—just wonderful. The hotel is centrally located, making it convenient to get anywhere, and a taxi ride is just the minimum fare

Service was just okay; the reception wasn't very welcoming, and the front desk staff seemed inexplicably rude. During check-in, they didn't clearly explain the room benefits, which was confusing

The soundproofing in the room is excellent, it's very quiet, and the room is spacious enough for three people without feeling cramped! Plus, it has two bathrooms! The facilities have that classic five-star feel – a bit old but very clean, and the service is spot on! The hotel is centrally located, making it super convenient to get anywhere

During holidays, breakfast can get a bit crowded, requiring a queue, but the variety and taste are great. The family suite is very good, convenient for multiple people, and offers good privacy

We don't really care about smart devices, but the toilet seat was scorching hot, and there was no way to adjust the temperature, so we had to unplug it

The package included executive lounge access, but there wasn't much food, so we just had a few drinks. Facilities: As an older hotel, it has its advantages, but the downside is clearly the aging facilities

The high-floor view is also good. For convenience, we also had the hotel's dinner buffet, which was decent. The crayfish weren't live, and other dishes were average, but the live singer was great

The service is incredibly thoughtful and attentive; any issues are promptly resolved

Wonderful! Hotels in Dalian are such a steal during the off-season. Breakfast on the first day was good, the second day was a little less so, but still decent, at least the fruit and bread selection were plentiful

They had the room ready early, upgraded us because we had children, and gave us a seal plushie and a handwritten card. We asked for another plushie for our second child, and they happily provided it

If you're traveling with kids, Xinghai is definitely the way to go, and the Grand Hyatt specifically is super convenient. We spent two days digging for rocks and three days feeding seagulls right downstairs

The environment here is fantastic, especially the sea view which is absolutely stunning. It's perfect for cozying up in your room and watching the sea during winter. The location is also excellent

Xinghai Square is right downstairs, Xiding is to the left when you exit, and to the right, there's the seaside where you can feed seagulls

Every year I travel to Dalian! Every year, this is my first one option!

Nearby good food opportunities and coffee shops. Breakfast was reach and tasty

Suppose it was a family trip and I booked two rooms. I have requested the front desk to allocate two rooms next to each other, Unfortunately, the number was but the location was two rooms apart

The welcome drink includes an afternoon tea type buffet. The quality of the food is terrible, stay clear of the pastries and coffee, but I stocked up on the fruits, which were delicious

Everything was clean and spacious, the breakfast was okay, they did t have much of a western spread but it was up to standards just the food was always cold

Great location near to the central park and 20 minutes from the airport. I got an ocean view room, which was well worth it, and the bed was huge and comfortable

The food options around here are incredibly convenient and delicious. We had seafood non-stop during our vacation! Plus, you can easily experience the tram nearby

This is a very established five-star hotel. While the facilities are a bit old, the overall cleanliness is good, and it was a comfortable stay. The high-floor views are also great, and the transportation is convenient

This hotel is located in the city center with plenty of parking, making it very convenient to get around. It's also quiet at night, ensuring a good night's sleep

This is an excellent hotel with stunning, front-row sea views. The overall design of the hotel is beautiful, and the rooms are incredibly atmospheric and well-equipped

The hotel's location is fantastic, right in front of the sea and very close to Xinghai Square

Had a fantastic stay at the Chateau Hotel! The European castle vibe was absolutely on point, with breathtaking sea views. The room was clean and spacious, and the service was attentive and thoughtful

First off, the view is absolutely stunning, overlooking the cross-sea bridge and Xinghai Square – the environment is fantastic

My stay at The Castle Hotel was absolutely magnificent. The room condition was pristine with the signature Marriott comfort, and the view from the balcony, especially the laser show at night, was breathtaking

The butler service was incredibly thoughtful, arranging check-in immediately, and was very professional and efficient. The kids' play area is also quite good, clean, and offers plenty of activities

The hotel is quite big, but unfortunately I went there in October, so some facilities were not available because it was already the winter season. The wind in Dalian was extremely strong

The hotel is just steps away from the beach, and our ocean-view room offered stunning views, allowing us to enjoy the sea whenever we wished. A nice touch was the record player available for guests

A special shout-out to Grasshopper for helping us locate a lost item, and the front desk staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly! The bar had a great atmosphere with an excellent singer, delicious drinks, and generously portioned burgers

Ms. Wang Fei at the front desk was incredibly enthusiastic and even helped us book various children's activities. We're looking forward to bringing our friends to Jinshitan during the summer holiday to enjoy it too!

Our room was spotless, bright, and incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and abundant

I think summer in Dalian, around July to September, would be the perfect time to hang out

This hotel is conveniently located next to the Dalian Convention Center, right by the sea, offering beautiful views and easy transportation

Our butler, Maggie, provided exceptional service. Since we arrived quite early, she proactively informed us that there might be a wait for our room. Once we checked in, we were greeted with an unbeatable ocean view

The views from the bedroom and bathroom are absolutely stunning – I honestly wanted to spend the whole day just relaxing in the hotel! Before arrival, Maggie thoughtfully asked about my preferences, and on check-in day, all my requests were met

The lobby is elegantly decorated, and my room was spacious, bright, and spotlessly clean. All the amenities were in perfect working order, and the toiletries were of good quality

I had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is excellent, with easy access to transportation, and plenty of dining and shopping options nearby

Overall, it offers fantastic value for money; the environment, cleanliness, and service were all impeccable. I honestly can't recommend this place enough!

Service was top-notch, truly heartwarming! The biggest bonus was that all the toiletries were individually sealed and sterilized, clearly clean and hygienic, showing great attention to detail, which made for a particularly reassuring stay

The room was neat and clean, with absolutely no musty smell typical of older rooms. The air inside was fresh and well-ventilated, and the furniture looked high-quality, all solid wood, making for a very comfortable stay

The front desk service was also exceptionally thoughtful. The lady proactively offered a free room upgrade and even kindly provided complimentary breakfast

The location is excellent, making it very convenient for getting around and sightseeing. Overall, it was a fantastic experience with great value for money

Even after all these years, the memory of that trip and the name of the place remained vivid. We had our meals at a nearby shopping mall, which was also very convenient thanks to the hotel’s central location

Traveling to Dalian, I specifically looked for hotels around the train station and finally chose this one

The minimalist yet stylish decor, combined with soft lighting and a comfortable sofa lounge area, instantly melted away the fatigue of travel. Front desk service was a major highlight of this experience

The hotel is in a lively area with plenty of restaurants nearby and convenient transportation. You can take bus route 27 to Xinghai Square, just a few hundred meters walk from the hotel

The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and the room was clean and tidy! The breakfast selection was rich and good quality too! Just a small suggestion: the hotel's Wi-Fi speed is slow and the signal is weak

The hotel has a good service attitude, Janie at the front desk is very considerate, the room is spacious and bright, the hotel is convenient for business trips, it is a good choice for business trips

I especially want to praise the staff, from the front desk to the cleaning staff, they are warm and considerate, and they also take the initiative to help with luggage and plan travel routes

Xiao Zhao at the front desk was very helpful. I will choose this hotel again when I come to Dalian. It is also very close to Xinghai Square. The fried dumplings are delicious

The weather wasn't great during our stay, but I was completely sold on the sea view room and balcony! The hotel is surrounded by a forest in front and the beach in back

My only regret is that it rained during my stay, so I missed out on the beautiful sea and sunrise 🌅. I hope to come back and stay longer next time!

When I travel, Marriott is usually my first choice because you really can't go wrong; five-star hotels generally deliver. This one was no exception – excellent location right by the beach, truly a room with an ocean view

The hotel even offered a complimentary travel photography session; the first five photos were free, and the photographer was amazing at capturing candid shots

Check-in was super fast, and she gave us tons of tips for local attractions. If you're vacationing in Yantai, choosing this place is a guaranteed win! 💖

We got stunning ocean view photos without even having to find our own spots! 📸 The front desk staff, especially Airla, provided exceptional service
