Spa-Hotels in Dalian

The price was a bit high since we went during the May Day holiday. We stayed in the West building, which is newer than the East building, but the soundproofing wasn't great. The swimming pool is on the small side, good for kids though. Breakfast was very crowded, so we had to queue. We tried the Japanese restaurant on the fourth floor, and the food was delicious.

Hotel Furama is still a solid choice. Both the facilities and service are excellent. The location is super convenient, making it easy to get around. I'd definitely choose to stay here again if I have the chance.

This is a pretty standard, older hotel. The East Wing is a bit older and cheaper than the West Wing. The rooms are spacious. It's about a 10-minute walk from Zhongshan Square. There's a Dalian seafood BBQ place nearby called 'He Diu Yi Zhi Xie' (Lost One Shoe) that I went to three times – I just couldn't help myself! 😂

One of the oldest 5* hotel in that area. The location is good with the metro station (ZhongShan) just 5min walk. There are also plenty eatery and convenience store within the 5min walk range (McDonald's, Lawson, Mixue etc). 2 metro stations away is the Qingniwa shopping area and the Dalian Train Station. The room is spacious, though the facilities are a bit dated. However, the service is excellent and the location is great.

Booked the East Building. The room had a retro vibe, but the TV was really old and didn't have many channels. However, the hotel's facilities were comprehensive. The gym was huge and well-equipped. Since it was during Chinese New Year, there was no one around, so we had the pool all to ourselves. They also had a sauna and bath facilities, which was a nice touch.

When I stayed at the town's five-star hotel, I encountered some issues. The receptionists and staff were unable to speak in English. I had to change rooms twice, but both were affected by mold around the AC vents. The bed linens and other amenities were average, but the cleanliness of the bathrooms was poor.

Decent location, nice reception, allowed me to delay my checkout for an hour and a half. Gym downstairs was very nice with pools and other facilities. Rooms was clean only thing was the ac didn’t go below 25 Celsius which may be a bit warm during night.

The hotel's location is excellent; there's a subway station right outside, and it's close to Zhongshan Square. It's also very convenient to take the subway or a taxi to other attractions. The hotel's location is fantastic, right in front of the sea and very close to Xinghai Square. We even saw deer on the way down the mountain! Our original room was on a lower floor facing the street, which got a bit noisy in the mornings. However, the front desk upgraded us to a higher floor room, which was much more spacious and comfortable. It's an established hotel with a convenient location, and the breakfast was good too. I'd definitely consider staying here again.

The facilities are about a decade old, but overall, the hardware is in good shape. Room service is excellent, and there's a great variety of hot springs with wonderful service. If you wake up early, you can walk a few hundred meters to the beach to watch the sunrise.
