Sheraton Yantai Golden Beach Resort in Dalian

I stayed here for 5 nights. The place is and service is superb. Buffet for breakfast and dinner is simply amazing. I don’t have any issues except for the location. It is quite far from downtown. During winter, they close the doors that can have access to the beach. If I have the chance to visit Yantai again, I will definitely stay in this hotel. 👍

Great location on the beach, good restaurant and rooms with a view to the sea.

The front desk surprised us with an upgrade to a sea-view suite! We could just lie in bed and gaze at the beautiful blue ocean – the view was absolutely incredible. The service was attentive, and the room was spotless. We were super satisfied with this experience! 👍

The room is well-equipped, and Ken arranged a nice sea view room for us. This hotel is perfect for a vacation, and the surrounding area has convenient transportation.

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! You just cross the road and you're right on Golden Beach. The staff at Potteryi Hotel are incredibly thoughtful; their excellent service shines through in all the silent details. The front desk attendant who helped us even added me on WeChat, and he was so friendly. The entire service process was very professional.

The environment is beautiful, and the location is excellent. Our window overlooks the beach, offering a fantastic sea view from the room. The room itself is very spacious, and the amenities are convenient, making for a comfortable stay. The breakfast is also quite rich.

The hotel is very good, the reception is very helpful and thanks Potter for the warm welcome at the hotel, hotel location near the lonely whale and the beach, the room is very comfortable, especially the bed is very relaxing.

🏨 Perfect for families with kids or a group of girlfriends.

🪟 The loft room's bathroom is on the second floor, with toilets on both levels. The hotel's spa area has hot tubs and showers, so even if there are many people, you don't have to wait for the single bathroom in your room. You can just go for a dip in the hot pools, enjoy the sauna, then shower there and come back to your soft, comfy bed! (Note: ♨️ the spa closes at 10 PM).

⛱️ The hotel grounds are huge! Right behind it is a long, beautiful coastline. You can play outside during the day, and in the evening, take a stroll on the beach 🌃 listening to the waves, and even spot some seabirds.

🥣 Breakfast is served facing the ocean, so you can watch the waves while you eat. The restaurant is on the first floor, facing the sea 🌊, so it might be a bit cooler. If you get cold easily, just wear a bit more 🧣.

🍠 The roasted sweet potatoes are delicious, and they even have Brie cheese 😋. There aren't any cakes or desserts for breakfast (I was craving some!), but they do have classic European Danish pastries and freshly made large crepes 🫔 (Tianjin style, not the Shandong type). Yantai apples 🍎 are tasty (the welcome apple we received was super sweet!).

😌 The towels in the room are soft and fluffy.

🕴️ Service: Excellent. A big thanks to the gym front desk lady who waited for me to finish showering even after her shift ended 🙏🙏🙏.

♨️ The pool/hot tubs/baths close at 10 PM. The gym is open 24 hours and has all the basic equipment you need. There's even a Smith machine and an Olympic bar, which allowed me to get my squats in! 😎 (Warning: Add weight plates responsibly).

Sheraton's service is quite good, and Potteryi was very welcoming. The hotel's location is excellent, right in the middle of Golden Beach Scenic Area. The room also offers a nice sea view. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay.

This hotel offers great value for money, making it an excellent choice for a vacation. The service was exceptional; they even provided complimentary pear juice and apple slices, which made us feel truly at home. The sea-view room lived up to its name, offering direct ocean views. The room itself was warm, clean, and tidy, ensuring a very comfortable stay. The concierge was always quick to assist with luggage upon arrival and departure. Breakfast was also fantastic, with a wide variety of local specialties. Overall, it's definitely worth another visit.
