It was my mom's birthday, so I brought her to visit an ancient town and see a snowy mountain. Jocelyn was very thoughtful, specially decorating the room and preparing a cake and fruit. When we left, Cafu was super nice, helping us with our luggage and stroller. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Lijiang!

Stepping into InterContinental Lijiang Ancient Town Resort felt like entering a serene Naxi royal mansion. The classic staggered architecture and Naxi courtyard design perfectly complement the distant Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, making every photo-op postcard-perfect. I especially loved the fireplace in the lobby and the library area; the ambiance was simply incredible. Our room was spacious and bright, with stunning views right outside the window. That feeling of 'step out into the ancient town, close the door and enter a paradise' really can't be beaten. The holiday I spent here was so healing, I truly didn't want to leave!

The hotel is located right by the South Gate of the ancient city, and there's even a direct entrance from the hotel into the old town. The architecture is very unique and charming. On clear days, you can see the snow-capped mountains right from the lobby.

The lobby and the accommodation areas are connected by electric shuttle buggies. Usually, after you call, a buggy will arrive within 5 minutes, which is super convenient.

The breakfast spread is incredibly rich and varied. My favorite part was the different freshly squeezed juices every day.

My stay was absolutely fantastic! The butler service made me feel very secure and well-cared for, and the hotel's location is super convenient for visiting the ancient city. Everyone at the hotel offered service with a smile, especially Simon He and Catherine. It was a truly wonderful experience!

A truly satisfying stay! The hotel is within walking distance of the ancient town, and the rooms are well-spaced, so it didn't feel crowded even during the May Day holiday. There were craft activities every morning, which the kids absolutely loved. Special shoutout to the sugar painting artist – his technique might be debatable, but his patience was exceptional, definitely worth a thumbs up! The lobby view of the snow-capped mountains was breathtaking. Though, it was a bit jarring to see so many Xpeng logos everywhere as they were launching a new car. Our housekeepers, Cici and Lisa, were always on standby, which was incredibly reassuring. Big thanks also to Jack, Simon, Hans, Dylan, and Tom for their excellent service!

The hotel's exterior environment is quite pleasant, with a garden-style setting. However, it's been open for a long time, and the facilities are showing their age. The toilet isn't smart and gets clogged with normal use. The worst part is the bathroom odor; it's really, really stinky. On the first night, I told housekeeping to pay special attention to the bathroom odor when cleaning, but it was still just as foul on the second night! Eventually, they must have sprayed perfume or some kind of air freshener because it went from a terrible stink to a nauseating mix of stinky and flowery smells. It was even worse then!

Jocelyn is incredibly professional and gentle. Communication with her was smooth, and she was very efficient, truly embodying the spirit of hospitality. The hotel's environment, facilities, and location are all top-notch, but Jocelyn's service was truly the highlight. I wholeheartedly recommend it and will definitely be back!

This is hands down the best hotel I've ever stayed at in terms of service. Miya, the manager, went above and beyond, patiently helping us resolve our issues from start to finish and offering a wealth of value-added services that truly exceeded our expectations. Although we encountered some facility hardware problems during our two-day stay, the manager was involved throughout the entire service process until the issues were resolved, demonstrating incredible patience and meticulous attention to detail. During our time in Lijiang, we also experienced the world-renowned Amankora hotel, and honestly, the service at this InterContinental far surpassed Amankora's! A big thumbs up to the InterContinental for their outstanding service!

Initially, the butler wasn't very proactive in adding me on WeChat, and the room assigned to me was pretty mediocre. However, my stay improved after check-in. The mature male staff member at the front desk was excellent; he moved me to a quieter room with a better view. The shuttle service was also very prompt whenever we called. I had previously stayed at Ansu, where the service was exceptional, so I had some initial disappointment, but overall, the service here was good despite a few minor flaws.

The courtyard is huge and filled with various flowers, arranged beautifully. It's clear a lot of effort goes into its maintenance. Every corner of the courtyard is worth savoring; this courtyard was the highlight of my stay. It's absolutely stunning, truly the vibrant and blooming Lijiang I pictured in my mind!

Although it opened in 2015, the rooms are well-maintained. The breakfast selection is quite diverse, and the small pot rice noodles are delicious! The location is very convenient, with the main entrance on the main road and the back entrance leading directly into the Old Town.
