What can you say from Aman hotel chains.
It’s top notch.
Service is without a doubt impeccable.
It’s the aman ninja service, they’re everywhere but nowhere to be seen. Discreet yet attentive.
The property is quite big but a little smaller compared to other Aman in SEA i think.
Love that they always stay true to the local culture, from the design, small touch even uniform but it still gets the modern touch with using the latest amenities / tech.
If you’re Aman junkie, this one is definitely worth a visit when you’re in Lijiang. Bonus, the view (in a good weather day) of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.
Ps: do try the hotpot which broth they brew for 6-8hours (must order in advance) and try their peanut cookie in the room (so so good).

Nestled in the ancient city, this hotel offers a serene escape with stunning views of snow-capped mountains. It's truly a gem, I couldn't find a single flaw and it's definitely worth a stay. The staff are all incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the hotel's facilities, local culture, and dining options. They're attentive without being intrusive. We really enjoyed Mányixuan, dining there four times – the cured pork ribs and yak meat were absolutely delicious. The spa and mini-bar were also great additions.

24-hour service, always quick to respond. The views are the best in Lijiang, right from the top of Lion Rock. During Chinese New Year, there were all sorts of activities. My family and I had a fantastic time and it was a truly unforgettable experience.

It’s a journey, not just a hotel. This was my biggest takeaway from my Aman experience.
Regarding the environment, it's elegant yet secluded, a dialogue between the architecture, interior, ancient town, and distant mountains, paying homage to Naxi culture and a thousand years of history.
As for the experience, both the service and the booked activities make you want to spend more time at the hotel. The pleasant surprise of a back entrance leading directly to Wenchang Palace and the ancient town perfectly illustrates the separation between bustle and tranquility.
Regarding the dining, the à la carte breakfast buffet and the yak hotpot for dinner reinforce the belief that Aman's taste is always exceptional.

The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, exceeding my expectations. The service was top-notch, truly beyond what I anticipated. A special thank you to Mr. Aaron for his attentive care and excellent service. I'll definitely be back!

This hotel is a hidden gem, small but perfectly formed. Overall, it's ideal for those who aren't in a hurry and want to slow down, participate in hotel activities, or simply relax. I'd definitely come back again if I have the chance.

We spent 6 days at Amandayan Hotel. The experience was exceptional. The buildings and grounds are a palace. Lijiang and the surrounding towns a delight to tour with the recommended tour guide. But the staff is what makes this a truly wonderful hotel. They are attentive, always helpful, and greet you with a smile. One of the best staffs in Asia.

The hotel is built in a former temple and has been beautifully restored. You can make it to the old town very easily and quickly in the morning to the see the town before the crowds arrive.

Absolutely love Aman! I'm thoroughly impressed with both the hotel facilities and the service. We also enjoyed a delicious hot pot dinner at the restaurant.
