Very beautiful camping ground with lots of facilities and activities (like free mini-golf!) A bit crowded during summer holidays but still a great place to be!

Based on a stay mid July.
Demographics: vast majority of age between 55 and 70+. Very few are younger (children excluding). Mostly couples and families. Convenient for parents with young children with a lot of facilities and entertainment for youngsters. Mostly Germans, Austrians and Eastern Europeans. Overall, large crowd. Safety: 100%. At no point we felt any concerns. You can see guys in yellow shirts patrolling on bikes occasionally, but you are not feeling secretly monitored like in some other resorts. Facilities: large swimming pool but not heated and water was cold, very good gym (open 9am till 8pm same as swimming pool), several restaurants and bars, good size but overpriced supermarket, nice marina, tennis court, table tennis, football and volleyball areas. Beach: very beautiful long stretch coastal beach with gravels (no sand) - bring beach shoes with you to swim! Super clean! Plenty of free lounges and beach umbrellas, even though half are reserved. Still, you will be able to find an empty spot (maybe not in the first row but you will find a few). Some areas are very crowded but there are also some nice isolated areas for just one or two beach chairs in a rocky beach. The area between Grill Snack and Spaccio restaurants was popular with elderly. Area around Havana Bar and Uvala restaurant attracted slightly younger crowds. Dress code: in the swimming pool and at the beach most people follow the rules, but those who don’t are not told off. Same goes for the rule of not reserving beach chairs - many are reserved with towels throughout the day. Outside of beach and pools, most textile since it is mandatory for entering shops, reception, restaurants, etc. Rooms: we stayed in LA 2+1. The building did not look any special but the room was very good. Clean, spacious, recently renovated. The room was cleaned daily with bedsheets and towels replaced every two days. There are AC, kettle, fridge, safe and a small TV in each room. Reasonable WiFi in the room and throughout the camp. Covered terrace with chairs and a table - great for an evening drink. Food: We booked a half board for the price of extra EUR 7 per person per day (walk-in price EUR 17 for breakfast and EUR 27 for dinner). Breakfast was ok but the same each day. Buffet dinner was better with a variety of European dishes which changed daily. Drinks are extra to pay. Things to do in the area: certainly a visit to Rovinj, a beautiful old city 10 mins drive. For a different kind of experience: FKK Kriz and s. club Anaconda.

Our recommendations to Valata management:
Open air cinema
Breakfast variety
Sport activities for teenagers

We spent 5 amazing nights here lovely pool area, several good restaurants, nice pitches for campers where we stayed right by the marina. A good supermarket and shop on site, and only a 10 minute taxi ride from the stunning city of Rovinj. I would highly recommend visiting this brilliant naturist camp/village at least once.

As Biker with tent to extensive! 80 Euro 1 night!
The receptionist was very unfriendly - intolerant bcause I am a Biker and not a Car driver with Camper - intolerant nudist camping place -wrong place, low energy, never again😑

Excellent camping. We used our tent.
Downside is the growing number of huge campers (like Concorde or Centurion) and larger caravans who are continuously running their airconditioning. Making a constant noise, particularly audible for their neighbours.

Basically a great facility. However, walking in the evening becomes a dangerous adventure. This is due to young people racing along the roads and pavements on bikes and scooters, some of which are unlit. Some adult cyclists also behave recklessly. It's only a matter of time before serious accidents happen here. And who is liable then? We urgently need traffic regulations for two-wheelers and a night-time driving

I'd describe this place as a naturist's PARADISE!!!Nobody telling me it isn't the best in the world,it's PERFECT!!It's like this veeeery big beautiful island for naturists. It is incredibly clean and peaceful, the people working around are very polite and welcoming, the naturists themselves are very quiet minding their peace....it's now mine and my husband's dream camp every summer...Thank you Valalta🍾🥂

Beautiful in the off-season. We went here at the beginning of September. Water clean, no jellyfish. 24degrees. Sanitary: Super clean and well maintained. One of the best campsites I know.
Price- performance reasonable. Friendly staff everywhere. I would like to give 10 stars.☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️

Education and kindness of the employees could be way better. That is a real big problem in this otherwise wonderful facility.

most unfriendly harbor master ever. we have celebrated holiday here 15 years in a row. when we sailed into the harbor today to see how beautiful it has become and to book a holiday for next year, we were immediately told to leave without being able to say a word. when we wanted to explain what we wanted to do, the harbor master wouldn't let us finish and he threatened with security. our family and several families of our family will NEVER come back because of this.
