Description

One of the oldest Croatian hotel located on the beach. It offers a private beach area and elegant spacious rooms with sea views. Guests can take a walk through the old town Lovran with cobbled streets, stone houses, narrow passages and stairs. This is one of the cities in the region, which has perfectly preserved its original historical appearance. For a relaxing family or romantic vacation.

Built: 1880

Location: 50 m from the sea, 200 m from the centre of Lovran, 46 km from Rijeka airport.

Consists of two 3-storey buildings.

Wonderful hotel. The staff where very welcoming, kind and professional. They very kindly upgraded my room to a double Seaview room, which was a very pleasant suprise and really nice to wake up to the spectacular view in the morning. The room was spacious and very clean. The food was great ,plentiful and good quality. Really good variety at breakfast and lovely coffee. The hotel also had very good facilities. I really dont feel there is anything to complain about in regards to the standard of this hotel, as the overall the value for money was fantastic and the staff work very hard to ensure their guests feel welcome and have an enjoyable stay. I only have positive feedback about this hotel and would highly recommend staying . I look foward to staying again soon.

The room was good and clean, but nothing to eat. It was Christmas time and the restaurant was empty. Everyone was waiting for food. We had to eat crisps.

Its a good solid 3 star hotel, all personel is extremly friendly, everything is nice and clean, great lounge area, great location near the sea, rooms are a little bit rustic, older furniture, but everything is functional and well maintained. We were very happy.

The hotel is an early 20th century building (I think) with the style of the belle epoch and our room had wonderful high ceilings and tall windows with a balcony overlooking the bay. There was a good sized desk and fridge, but no kettle. Wifi was good and the first time in Croatia we were actually able to connect reliably. There were no plug sockets by the bed which was a minor irritation. Breakfast was wonderful with happy staff and a great selection of food. It was lovely to sit on the terrace while eating and relaxing, a wonderful start to the day. Parking is available at the front of the hotel but needs to be pre-booked.

The staff was super helpful, the rooms are a bit old, but always clean and tidy. Our AC went off, and we were upgraded to a better room. Breakfast and dinner were both fine, nothing too fancy, but fresh and delicious plates. Parking is difficult and expensive, but we knew it beforehand.

Smještaj je vrlo udoban, sobe velike, kupaonice velike i čiste. Doručak nudi za svakoga ponešto, osoblje neprestano dopunjava ponudu. Posebno nam se svidjelo osoblje, na recepciji su nas dočekali kao prijatelje (premda se vidimo prvi puta), dečki na recepciji usred noći vedri, nasmijani, ponudili nam više od očekivanoga. Vrlo, vrlo ugodno i lijepo iskustvo.

This hotel is perfectly located close to the center of Lovran and between the main road and the seaside . For me the highlight was having breakfast and dinner on a terrace with the open view of Kvarner. As for the food, it was excellent. The rooms are large and cosy, I strongly recommend taking a room with sea-view as one can enjoy small balconies without noise from the road. There were some smaller issues that need improvement, mostly regarding cleanliness but in total this place is a great cost/benefit choice.

The swimming pool closed. Furniture in the hotel is outdated or broken. To the room, leak water through the window. Only one window in the room. Poor food quality and the same food during our vacation. We stayed in the hotel for ten days. I can't recommend this hotel.

3, it can be 4 easy, room with view on the noisy road ...hmmmm. TV with few stupid and free channels....i mean it's 21st century...cable tv is everywhere... Breakfast can be better... Juice and coffee 5stars.... See ya soon
