Hotel Neboder in Rijeka

Looks older from outside, pretty good once inside. Very tiny room but clean. The bed was very small I offer to pay for an upgraded but I was told there are no vacancies. Which was not entirely true when I checked out early morning, there room accreoa mine was open, and empty. I took a peak andx and a picture. See attached, that is what it should have looked like. The pictures pictures on the booking sites are probably taken with a wide lens, it makes everything look bigger and wider. Good trick. Shower was another problem, no pressure and the wall shower head holder was so way high up on the wall. Not an issue for me to reach up to it but an average person will never get to it. My issue was that it was broken so I had to use one hand shower routine which I hate. Why don't they check ands repair these ahead of time? Parking free in front of the hotel, location is prime 10 minutes walking to the core and breakfast was good. I asked for fried eggs, only scrambled at the buffet, they made it for me. The shower ands the size of the room and bed got the stars down from me.

The WiFi was excellent, very good signal in my room on the 8th floor.
Shower was good, no water getting on floor.
TV channels in English were very good
The breakfast was fantastic...outstanding

The room was booked with booking.com which stated an electric kettle for coffee service in the room was provided. When I got to the room, there was no kettle and asked at reception and was told they took them away because of COVID. As I'd stayed in 3 other hotels on this trip in Croatia, and they all had coffee service with a kettle in the room, I wasn't buying the COVID excuse. This was really the only reason I'd booked this hotel because I always book a hotel that has electric kettle to have coffee when I get up.
