Continental Hotel in Opatija

Clean rooms,great food and amazing staff! The hotel is in the city centre which makes it perfect for sightseeing.

The stuff is extremely polite and helpful. This hotel has several restaurants and has a great location. In several minutes walk you can reach the beach Tomaševac. Highly recommend to go there, because after the small part with stones there is a huge part with sand under the water. In the hotel's surrounding you have a lot of shops and restaurants. Inside this hotel there is a chocolate museum where you can buy chocolate produced in it or upstairs you can eat cakes made with this chocolate. The price I paid is in comparison with other hotels in Europe, which are located on spots that don't attract tourists, the same or even cheaper. I am pointing this out because often it is said that Opatija and Croatia in general are very expensive. Yes, the food in many restaurants in Opatija is expensive, but there are other with more affordable prices. So, there is everything for everyone. Book this hotel and you will not regret.

Great location in heart of town but not noisy. Staff were lovely - we had a problem with our room and the man on reception moved us. They couldn’t do enough - booked us a really excellent onward taxi and gave us water for the trip. Breakfast was excellent- lots of choice.. Rooms were a bit old fashioned but clean and tidy. Beds v comfortable and we had a lovely balcony. Overall good value and would stay again.

The room was good. It has a restaurant, bar and chocolate shop. Breakfast is a buffet. There is live music at night. It is not far from the beach.

This was our secund stay in this lovley hotel. Everyting was exeptional. Employer at the reception were very helpful ,frendly and pleasent,especially Domagoj. Breakfast was delicious,lot of choices ,nice and fresh food. Diner was exellent. Our hostes at diner-Maria was so plesant and nice and we enjoyed every night in her wonderful presentation,special kids. Room was clean and comfortable,with a spectacular view at the sea. Great value for the money. We really enjoyed our stay and have a plan to comeback again to this lovley hotel.

Our trip started with 5 days at The Paris Hotel in Opatija. It was a great stay and central to everything.We walked a lot around this magic place,and also used the buses. Cannot express how much we really enjoyed our stay.

Solid, clean and historical hotel in a heart of Opatija. Staff is very approachable and available. Everyone was helpful with our needs and above. In April it is really place to be, weather gorgeous and view from hotel is breath taking.

This hotel is now part of a chain within the Amadria Park group. Our rooms were in the Gardenija section but the dining is in the Hotel Continental, across the terrace. The rooms are old but very clean and comfortable. The breakfast options were very good. The staff were extremely helpful and so friendly. The location is perfect for exploring Opatija.

Recently visit for site visit for small sports group coming in august. Superb stay . Room are clean comfortable and excellent . Superb restaurant/ cafe / and chocolate factory shop in hotel ! Location excellent close to sea and shops . Staff are super friendly , naturally so , efficient and helpful . Receptionist and lady at breakfast were excellent . I highly recommend and as a Trevor agent I stay in a lot of hotels . Well done a super hotel and great value
