Arena Hotel Holiday in Medulin

Clean, comfy room, good breakfast and dinner, but drinks are not included, free parking in September, friendly receptionist and girls in restaurant. For 1 night with kids is very good.

Have just returned from a lovely 2 weeks at this hotel. This is our 3rd visit to medulin having stayed twice at the TUI blue next door. This was our first visit to this hotel and we both said we preferred this hotel and would definitely return . Our room was ready on arrival. Rooms: cleaned daily fridge toiletries hairdryer and free safe plenty of storage space and air con. We had a pool view and sea view. There is no kettle but I took my own . Supermarkets close by . Restaurant: we couldn’t fault the food plenty of choice never went hungry. Pool: nice refreshing pool same level all over. You could change pool towels throughout the day. Entertainment: for our first few days there wasn’t any . The girls who do the entertainment are very young and lack enthusiasm but hopefully after time will get better. Doesn’t seem enough sun loungers for amount of guests. We think we were the only English there but that didn’t both us. All staff were polite and friendly. Would definitely return and would recommend.

We stay at Ai Pinia apartment. Apartment is large, spacious. Terrace is huge. Quiet place, a lot of play ground around apartments, huge parking space behind fence. Sponge and dish washing detergent was provided. Highly recommended.

I forgot hand watch in apartment, kindly staff delivered to reception and later they sent to my home address. Priceless!

Nice and friendly staff, they’re all very kind. The hotel itself could use little renovation, carpets are old and dated. Also they could put as information that the hotel pool is for non swimmers. The food was good. I was happy to see that they had many options for vegetarians. But overall very good.

Overall, it's a very good hotel, the rooms could use renovation, but otherwise they are fine. The mattress in the room should be changed more often, because it was quite worn. The attitude of the staff is excellent, they are very kind and helpful. The food is very tasty and varied. I would like to point out that every evening there was some kind of entertainment program. The beach is close to the hotel. It is worth spending your vacation here.

Another fabulous stay in this hotel for The Tear it Up Festival. The hotel is very clean and all the staff could not be more helpful. Great selection at breakfast and again, the staff are so attentive and responsive. What a lovely hotel in the most beautiful of locations, ideal as a base for exploring thd area.Looking forward to next year already.

We spent approx. a week there and it was definitely one of the best decisions we made regarding hotel choice. Parking was very easy when we arrived and also during the whole week there was always a good place for our car. The staff was super friendly and very competent and helpful in all cases. Our room was pretty small but so clean there was nothing to complain about. There was also a hair dryer which we were very happy about because we had forgotten ours. The pool is normal not special but big enough and salty. The beach was not like expected it could be better maybe it‘s good for families with children but our idea of sea and beach was kind of different. There‘s a nice promenade for night walks along the beach with restaurants and bars and also shops.
We booked without dinner but for the last day we decided to eat in the hotel (and we regretted that we didn‘t done before). The booking was very easy at the restaurant and the food was delicious (like expected cause the breakfast was also very well. There was a place like a library where I borrowed a book I couldn‘t finish so I asked at the reception to pay and take it home and they kindly said that I can take it for free many thank‘s to the friendly personal (I don‘t know her name). Last but not least the lobby was also modern and it was nice to spend the evenings there. Many thank‘s dear Arena Hotel TEAM.

We were sceptical about 3 stars hotel. All other in the area were booked, hotel Holiday was our final choice and we didn't make mistake. Yes, the room furniture, bathrooms and air conditioning are old, but the rooms are clean. Carpets are not brilliant, but it's not dirt, it's result of the ages. Breakfast had wide variety of food, coffee's really fine. The service is great. The staff is making big effort. In the restaurant there are or high school kids, or the waiters few years from retirement. Their effort is highly visible. Also, it's obvious that management is doing a hard and good work. The reception is probably the best part of the hotel. Especially reception manager Mr. Ninad. He found the solution for few of our problems in a second, recomanded great restaurants in Pula and Rovinj, beside english, we heard him speak german, italian, russian. Professionally polite, neat attractive professional image and behaviour, really always ready to help. Definitely Savoy material. Overall, the experiance was really nice. Price was reasonable, we recomand the hotel, rooms with the balconies on the sea side and visit to the park of nature Cameniak.
