This is a health hazard. Must be avoided at all costs - unless you're into dirty rooms, stained sheets, and foul odors. Service was accommodating when we asked for another (more decent) room.

So, basically I was staying at this Hotel Orion for three days. Immediately when we arrived there were moths, mosquitoes, and little grey worms in the bathroom. Me and my father had to kill 25+ insects, and yes we counted. Besides the insects the room was relatively small and was kinda dirty. The service was horrible my room was never cleaned. The location was good , but besides this that’s my review.

price value ratio: 2/5 For a 3* hotel compared to other 3* hotels its way overpriced compared to service and quality
cleanliness: 2/5 Hotel reception said they change towels daily, we didn't have any to begin with. Had to ask for towels and soap! Aswell they did not change any towels while we were staying there. In the rug we found other guests' earbuds and hair.
comfort: 3/5 Bed was comfortable and the scenery was good if i looked further than 5 meters, balcony was overlooking the mountains, which because of the weather had beautiful clouds. There is no hairdryer.
service: 2/5 Somewhat lacking, because they were severely understaffed for two full bus and for 3-4 car guests. For the staff, hats off for not quitting instantly. Dinner took them 2 hours to make and serve.
food: 1/5 Everything came from the local Lidl's discount corner for breakfast, sadly noticed it while shopping for survival nourishment after said breakfast.
Location: 3/5 can't say pro or con for this, compared to the other categories
The whole staring system for Hotels should be overhauled already, 3* for having WiFi which had no reception and was disconnecting. AC which is barely functional. A pool that contains so much algae it could be a breeding ground for fish. Water pipes in the wall are noisy and the walls are so thin you could hear others humming while taking a shower.
For a saving grace, im not sure that the Hotel is being rundown because of Covid or sadly it was always like this

This hotel doesn't deserve even one star food is complete shit, rooms are dusty and dirty the hotel itself looks like some military base, pool is dirty and green and disgusting. Hotel doesn't even have Wifi. The lady who i think owns that hotel is so rude and unfriendly, if you want to actually enjoy your trip i suggest you don't stay at this hotel.

Maybe the price but you can really find something at the same price and higher standard.

WiFi is not working in rooms.
The parking was not closed at night, when I was at hotel someone crashed one of the cars parked on the parking.
The breakfast is disgusting. Every day is the same food eggs, sausages, jam, etc... everything the lowest quality from Lindl market.
The hotel service is probably a penalty here their are unpleasant.
The rooms are dirty, everything is missing soap, towels. I was two weeks in this Hotel and they never change the sheets, never vacuuming.
The are very loud you can hear everything baby a dog on the others rooms.

It's quite OK. My room smelt a bit unfresh when I checked in. The restaurant there offers really good food

We stayed one night on our way to Split and liked it and enjoyed it. We went to Split for one night but came back to the Orion in Vodice for a few more nights because Split was crowded and Vodice had people but not crowded. The hotel is 10 minutes walk to the beach, marina, old town. All places we wanted to explore as it looks beautiful specially during the summer and during the evenings. The staff was super kind, breakfast plentiful and the A/C in the room extremely important during Summer time. The price acceptable and conveniently located on the main road so we did not have to waste time, getting lost and looking for it. Overall, I would come back. It is also being renewed. We needed more days to spend in town and at beach. Thanks Orion Hotel and Staff for your hospitality while in Croatia.
