Hotel San Giorgio in Vis

What a charming, romantic and authentic little Croatian hotel. We loved everything about it. Breakfast was delicious, offering everything you can dream of. Our standard room was spacious and had lots of amenities. The restaurant for dinner is beautiful and the food great. The owner makes everything even more special, greeting everyone with a smile - what a lovely guy! We’d definitely consider coming back.

We loved our stay on Vis. The quaint hotel was comfortable and had everything we needed. The food was excellent and the staff was friendly and helpful. It was nice to stay at a boutique hotel after being in much larger hotels on the other islands. I would highly recommend staying at San Giorgio.

This hotel reflects the charm and captivating beauty of Vis. Set down a narrow cobbled side street it is peaceful and away from the crowds. The staff are extremely friendly and always happy to help. The dinning area is very pretty especially at night and it has lots of nooks if you prefer privacy. The room was clean, comfortable and everything worked.

Such a gorgeous hotel, garden and island. I have been to Croatia four times in my life and this hotel and island is hands down one of the most special places in the country. The service was so warm and friendly, the food is delicious and the island is beautiful. Don't miss it!

Perfect boutique hotel in a central location on the beautiful island of Vis. The level of service was outstanding, including a delicious breakfast spread in a beautiful garden. We will definitly visit again soon!

This is the most amazing hotel. Me and a friend stayed in Vis for three nights and felt as if we could have stayed for longer. The hotel was beautiful. We stayed in room 10 which is not part of the main hotel but instead part of two rooms outside and was the perfect stay. There was a seat outside the rooms great for sitting in the evenings. The courtyard is a wonderful and picturesque place to have breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, the breakfast has a wide variety of dishes and the eggs were phenomenal. The staff are so friendly and could not do enough for you throughout your stay, including carrying our very heavy cases up the stairs. The courtyard is also a beautiful place to sit in the evening and have a drink. I sadly did not book the restaurant so cannot review that but would recommend as it looked very appetising. The room itself was big, with a great bathroom and great shower. The bed was very comfortable and the views from the room are amazing.

There aren't sufficient words to describe just what an amazing experience we had one week ago when on Vis Island. We stayed for two nights at this magical boutique hotel. Ive, the owner and his team went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful stay! Ive was very helpful with local recommendations of the area and definitely takes pride in his hotel. The facility itself was clean, beautifully appointed and the rooms were very cozy and comfortable! I must also mention the best meal we had while in Croatia over a two week trip was at the hotel's restaurant. The dinner was absolutely delicious and in the most romantic courtyard setting. I truly hope that our travels will find us back at Hotel San Giorgio again. Thanks so much!

We had the most wonderful stay at the Belvedere Hotel for our 15th anniversary. When we arrived, there was a bottle of wine and a thoughtful handwritten card waiting for us in the room, which made the occasion feel so special. The owners went above and beyond, always checking in to make sure everything was perfect during our stay. Their warmth and hospitality truly made us feel cared for, and it’s clear how much pride they take in creating a memorable experience for their guests. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a personal and heartfelt touch to their travels.

Exceptionally good hosts. Location perfect. Breakfast in my opinion could be better. We stayed 5 nights and chose to have breakfast inside due to the annoying wasps. Limited fresh fruit available and no pre-prepared fruit was disappointing. We chose to move room after 2 nights due to a larger room becoming available which we had hoped would be quieter away from overlooking the restaurant. Unfortunately having upgraded to a suite we were disappointed by extremely noisy guests above us. We appreciate this is not something the hotel can control.

This a very special boutique hotel with amazing owners, staff and a beautiful location and ambience. We loved our stay there and the whole experience at this beautiful hotel. It’s a very special and personal experience to stay at the San Giorgio. If you are heading to Vis - this is the place to stay!!!! We loved it.
