Hotel Petrcane in Donje Petrcane

This hotel is probably one of the cutest in this location . The room is spacious and clean . The bed and pillows are super comfortable. Even my kids sofa bed is comfortable. The breakfast is nice . The view is amazing and most of all , the staffs are nice. We asked for a late check coz our flight is super late at night and we got an extra an hour and half 😊 all in all , we love this hotel outside the busy zadar !

Although getting to the hotel is a bit of challenge trhrough the narrow streets od Petrčane willage, the hotel is situated by the nice bay with anchor boats. Our room had a beautiful view to the bay.
Rooms and tge bathroom had a nice size and were clean.
Restaurant has a seating on the outside patio with opening glass walls so you can enjoy the view even in a bad weather.
They're preparing and serving meals during whole day (except breakfast time).
Breakfast had a nice range to choose from (egs, bacon, even potatoes and meat, veggies, nicely decorated fruits, some cheese and ham, olives, pastry and a small pancakes made by a machine.
All in all a smaller hotel in a pleasant willage, where you call stroll along the sea and enjoy the life.

All in all, it was a good experience with some issues , and therefore I would not give it a five star rating. The staff were really professional and nice. The rooms were clean. I tend to tip the cleaning staff of all people, and they always cleaned the rooms well. The breakfast was nothing to write home about, but was decent. The food in the restaurant for dinner was quite good too. What was not that great is that the fridge hardly worked properly( it was not cold enough), and that most rooms do not have a balcony which is fine and known to us, but there was no option to dry wet clothes after swimming. This is a beach area after all, and I am not sure how it is expected that guests can dry their clothes other than leaving it near the pool area. That works if you use the pool, but what if you go to the beach and come back? This is something the management needs to think about. There are multiple restaurants in this area which is another plus. Overall, it is a 4 star hotel, and it did meet most standards expected of a 4 star hotel.

Very very nice hotel and service

We came from germany and first of all we have to say how friendly the employees are. We had a problem with our car - the battery was empty . We asked the hotel staff for help and they drove with us to a car garage to fix the car. That was more than friendly because we payed nothing for the service - just for the battery - and definitely less than in Germany. We were so happy about the help. The hotel room was clean with a nice view and with a lot of space. Thanks for everything. Tamara & Johannes

wonderful restaurant, haven't stayed in the hotel, but dinner and breakfast were amazing, service was superb!
