Although the hotel benefits from an excellent location, the overall service quality was disappointing. The staff were not particularly polite, the room felt outdated, and the bathroom had several issues, including a broken door handle and hair left behind. The dinner buffet was not tasty, and the breakfast was very poor, with no waiter present at the breakfast reception. Additionally, the breakfast tables were not properly set, lacking cutlery and tablecloths. The balcony was also not clean, with visible bird droppings, which made it unpleasant to use. For a hotel rated as three stars, the price is very high considering the overall experience.

This could be a very good hotel as its set in a beautiful location, but its not. On 1st impression it looks good as all public spaces are good BUT when it comes to the rooms its a diffent story. The rooms are very very dated , painted badly, walls with huge holes in them that hadnt been fillled , the bed we had was comfy and good clean linen but the bathroom was not the cleanest and needed updated. The food was absolutely terrible , same both nights we were there, and cold like it had sat there for hours. No fresh juice at breakfast only SQUASH , this from an island of citrus . The bread you could use to retile the rooms with. I know this is only a 3 star hotel BUT ive stayed in much better 3stars than this !!!

I have stayed at this hotel, many times over the last 20 years I can see it’s getting every year worse and worse I stayed for one night on 22 February 2026. My room was 257. I got booked in advance probably a month before when we checked in with my wife everything was fine Thinking that I checked in a month before I was hoping that I would have a nice room unfortunately what I receive my room. I was very, very upset. Looking outside the balcony, all you can see was a transformer from an electric pole and nothing else The food in the evening as we paid extra was disgusting You don’t mind paying as long you have got a good choice. Have a good evening meal. There was a mixture of three salads, spaghetti, chicken wings, which were burnt a lot of pickles and they’re not sure of anything else. I was really upset. The following morning, the breakfast well, what can I say? It wasn’t too bad. There was no coffee in the room or tea or even a kettle which they did have before Like I say, I’ve stayed many nights over the last 20 years and I guess this will be the last Also in the bathroom, there was a very small amount of shampoo and body wash which was not enough for me and my wife until the morning They did have a new refurbish about two years ago, but it still needs a lot a lot more to be done I have photos of some things which I didn’t like Sorry, I will never be coming back again

Booked an executive suite but the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Hotel is tired and needs money spent to make it acceptable even for 3 stars. Breakfast is very basic with limited items available for example no fresh fruit juice.

Rodon Hotel & Resort We recently enjoyed a Four Night stay at Rodon Hotel & Resort which is situated at the top of the Village of Agros some 1100m above Sea Level. Now I had booked this stay a while ago and a few days before we set off I checked Trip Advisor to see the views of recent visitors. Upon reading a number of negative reviews I became quite concerned but as we’d been looking forward to the break we decided to see for ourselves. Well all I can say is I cannot agree with any negativity. Our stay was exemplary. Room we had on the Third Floor was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Communal areas were spotless and plentiful with the Gardens beautifully kept. Breakfast choices were very good and the food was of a good quality and replenished regularly. We ate at the Hotel one evening and tried the Buffet which again had a good choice of dishes and decent value. Staff were generally helpful and efficient plus there were enough staff to cover all areas at all times. So so Peaceful and Tranquil and a Great stay in my view and I would certainly return.

Arrived for one night as spent the day in the mountains. Thought this was going to be a relaxing evening how wrong we were ! No warm welcome from reception staff . Was told there was a choice of buffet or a la carte open until 2100 hours . We looked in the buffet room 2 large parties in there buffet 20 euros pp. Decided to go a la carte upstairs which looked to be a large family room with tv on . Found a quiet corner , waiter decided he could not serve us a meal as soup was a winter dish , then decided I would have an omelette and was told this wasn’t being served tonight . He avoided looking at the menu despite in English and Greek .. some dishes did have a warning may take up to 45 mins .. both husband and I decided we weren’t hungry and walked out . Complementary water in the fridge ! Room smelt damp when we entered, Cold shower although complementary shampoo and shower gels smelt nice ! Bed linen clean and fresh .. hope to have a good night sleep Hope to have a quick getaway tomorrow morning, may miss breakfast and go to the tavern down the road . Like to have an open mind when reading reviews but on this occasion have to agree with the majority!! Room for improvement!!

This hotel is an absolute disgrace. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this place has zero standards. The food was horrendous – the “pizza” was literally a cheap frozen one you’d buy at a supermarket, the pork made my friend physically sick, and the burgers were served RAW. The drinks were disgusting and completely undrinkable – tasted like they’d been watered down or left sitting for days. The state of the room was appalling. There was hair all over the bathroom, the sink was broken, and when we politely asked for the room to be cleaned, all they did was replace the towels and left the mess exactly as it was. That level of laziness is shocking. We felt so uncomfortable and disgusted that we actually left a night early – and that’s saying something, because we’d already paid for the room! This place should be shut down. Avoid at all costs – do NOT stay here. There are cheap hostels that are cleaner, safer, and more pleasant than this dump. This is, without question, the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

Unfortunately it wasn't such a good experience. We have booked half-board. The breakfast was ok, nothing fancy, but ok. The problem was the dinner. Poor food, poor selection. Ate lots of bread just to kill the hunger. The room was decent. The mattresses weren't. Very uncomfortable to sleep in. Went there two years back, was better, but not this time.
