This place is an absolute must-see - a committee of architects elected it the best building of the 20th century and it is easy to understand why... It sits at the top of the mountain, perfectly communicating with the surrounding countryside. It is reachable both by a road (a very steep one indeed) and by a cable car - the ride itself is definitely of interest.

The hotel is very cosy, and you can choose from several types of rooms, including "retro room" restored to the original design by Otakar Binar. Nevertheless, you will likely experience a bit of discomfort caused by the lack of ventilation resulting in hot temperature in the rooms, combined with omnipresent leaks of water from both windows and ceilings.

The restaurant offers delicious meals at reasonable prices - during our week-long stay we tasted most of the menu and we can definitely recommend salmon, steak, or home-made potato crisps. The service is a bit slow at times.
The staff is very helpful once you get there, but the prior communication (both by email and by phone) was rather confusing and it took a while to get them to calculate the final price and explain the differences between various types of accommodation. OTOH, when opting for a "romantic package", you get a lot of free stuff - welcome champagne, restaurant voucher, or cable-car tickets.

Amazing place! Must to visit and recommend to stay in futuristic amazing style. Feeling as in space station near from galaxy orbit. Respect to the hotel owners!

Nadherny vyhled do okoli z pokoju hotelu a rovnez z jestedske restaurace. Hotelove pokoje jsou vybaveny vkusnym retro nabytkem a nabizeji nevsedni zazitek pro milovniky nezapomenutelnych vyhledu. Rozhodne stoji zato si trosku privstat a uvitat vychod Slunce... Restaurace pusobi velmi prijemne a servirovane jidlo bylo prijemnym prekvapenim.

Unique place that offers great views, good food and absolutely fascinating architecture and design. Inside the hotel and rooms, a lot of the original design seems to have been kept and/or restored so the experience is quite different from contemporary 'modern' places, but still comfortable enough except for the lack of (properly functioning) air conditioning although it wasn't too bad at the time of our stay.
We were pleasantly surprised to find a handful of vegetarian dishes on the menu, the ones if which we tried were quite tasty and well prepared. Staff was friendly and provided good service although English sometimes seems to be a bit of a problem but they definitely try.
The location and surroundings are obviously amazing, which combined with the sensation of actually staying inside this monument of a bygone era makes it a must-visit for everyone visiting this part of the country!

Hotel has award winning futuristic architecture, it was recently listed by CNN in "must visit places" article. Restaurant offers magnificent views and also quite good food. Unfortunately service is restaurant could be improved.

Nice winter tour (actually it's a nice tour for summer as well). Jested is completely fine place for fresh air lovers... you can go up by walk or by lift and on the top, there is a nice view... and in case you are hungry... you will find a restaurant in there.

The hotel is situated in an amazing modernistic building on top of a mountain with a great view of surrounding landscape, including the town of Liberec in the valley.

70s modern interior is very functional yet aesthetically pleasing. Rooms are comfortable and hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Restaurant food was nothing to write home about but the view is fantastic. It can be a bit chilly and windy on the top.
