Hotel Ještěd in Liberec

Amazing stay! A unique experience in a unique place, even if it was just for one night, it was worth it. Spacious retro room with a beautiful view of the countryside, very nice and helpful staff, excellent cuisine. I definitely recommend it, an amazing place and experience.

Jested Tower is impressive! So fun and interesting. The rooms are comfortable and unique, and the restaurant is excellent. You can't beat the location! A must-see if you are looking for an interesting stay in the Czech mountains.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in! Lovely and helpful staff, fantastic location and incredible architecture. Delicious food and they even give hotel guests a 500kr voucher each night. They even made me a breakfast bag to take on my last day. Customer service at its best! Will definitely come back again

Getting up to the TV-tower is a bit challenging but absolutely worth it!
There’s a paid parking area below the TV tower/hotel (only hotel guests can park directly at the top). From there, it’s about a 45-minute uphill walk. There’s also a shortcut over an unpaved trail, but I’d only recommend it if you’re steady on your feet.
The views along the way are already beautiful, but once you reach the top you get the full panorama — really impressive. There are snacks and ice cream available, which is a nice bonus after the climb.
You can relax in the hotel café, have a coffee, and enjoy the scenery.
The Rohanstein, the summit cross, and several viewpoints are free to access and easy to reach when walking around the tower.

Ještěd Tower is definitely worth a visit. The surrounding nature is beautiful, and the views from the tower are absolutely stunning — a highlight of the trip. One thing to keep in mind, however, is the cost of parking, which can add up. Still, the overall experience is memorable and highly recommended.

My partner and I stayed here in a retro room and would highly recommend it. We spent a few days in Prague and caught the Regiojet coach to Liberec, really easy. Got a taxi to the hotel from Liberec, took us right to the door. Reception was very friendly and tolerated my poor attempts at Czech 😁. Internally it is as stunning as the photographs. I thought the balance of retro and modern functionality in the rooms was excellent and for an old building the maintenance was very well done. Views from the rooms and indeed out anywhere is stunning. You have a table reserved for evening meal and breakfast automatically in a different section of the restaurant to visitors. The food (recommend the Mouflon and Gingerbread Mousse) and wine were both excellent and you dine looking over Liberec. Waiting staff were very friendly and attentive. One thing that would have been great would have been a quick tour of the behind the scenes places, although I guess I could have asked and they may have shown me. Breakfast is a very nice buffet. I notice that when looking at the listing for this hotel it said "Similar Hotels Available", believe me there is nothing else like this anywhere. We are already looking to come again, it was that good.

We have been planning the stay for a long time, it was our dream to spend a night there in the retro room. And we were very satisfied. The place and the hotel's architecture is unique. What is more, we were lucky with the weather, which made the views even more beautiful. But the team and high level of the service is also very important. The prices are not low but all the team members were great, smiling and very professional. The breakfast was great, including even a shot of pear brandy. Thank you!
