I have stayed at the Art Deco Imperial Hotel many times, and every time I return, I feel like coming to a very special place. The hotel has a stylish and elegant interior. The ambience is bright and most welcoming. Everyone, from the public area cleaner to senior management, is smiling and attentive. The cleanliness is impeccable. The Front Desk and Concierge staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and exceptionally helpful, and I never miss the chance to talk to them whenever I have a question. The breakfast at Cafe Imperial is an experience of a lifetime, where the waiting staff spoils the guests with attention to detail in the unique atmosphere of the historical venue.

We were here with a tour group - we slammed the place at check-in, which was handled as efficiently as possible. The two small elevators are always in use but smell a little funky. There is a bar open in the evening on the ground floor. Nicely decorated foyer tied to the restaurant. The Concierge in the lobby was very helpful with our questions. Finally, this place is very conveniently located to many of the attractions.

Lovely interiors and details throughout. The room was quite comfortable, quiet and clean. However we had the worst shower known to man. Barely warm and barely a trickle! Also shower over bath set up which is just terrible.

The air conditioning was fine by European standards and the TV even had a couple of English entertainment channels.

Staff were a bit mid - ringing the concierge got you nowhere and reception seemed put out by basic requests. Also lots of American and British tour groups come through.

Location is quite good.

Absolutely fantastic hotel. A really stylish and beautiful setting, with staff who went above (including giving us an upgrade)! We had a very spacious room with a very, very nice bath bathroom. The spa was a lovely extra, and you cannot miss the cafe either - absolutely delicious food (and incredibly reasonable, by UK standards). Really made our stay in Prague.

Our stay at Art Deco Imperial Hotel in Prague was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The hotel impressed us with its distinctive art deco architecture, elegant interior and overall cleanliness.
The hotel is in a truly great location. Firstly, public transport is very convenient – there are stops nearby with quick and easy connections to different parts of the city, and it’s also very convenient to get to the airport. Secondly, many sights are easily reachable on foot – the heart of the city, Old Town Square, is within walking distance, making it perfect for relaxed strolls.
The hotel staff were extremely friendly, helpful and professional, always ready to assist, answer questions and provide any information needed.
Breakfast at the hotel was excellent – delicious, fresh food with a really good variety, so everyone can easily find something they like.
We stayed in a beautifully designed room with very comfortable beds, and everything was thoughtfully provided – from toiletries to a sewing kit and ironing board. The minibar was well stocked, and there was complimentary tea and coffee in the room. The only slightly surprising thing was that the water in the room was not complimentary but chargeable, whereas many lower-category hotels usually offer at least one free bottle of water.
Overall, it is a very cozy, comfortable and high-quality hotel that I would happily recommend for both short stays and longer visits to Prague.

The hotel's location is good; it's within walking distance of the bus and train stations, and not far from tourist attractions. The hotel rooms are quite spacious, and the breakfast restaurant is one of the most beautiful cafes in the area. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Prague.

I hesitated for a while about this hotel, mainly because I was worried that the renovations were old and the facilities might be outdated. However, after reading many reviews, I decided to book it anyway. The location is fantastic, within walking distance of the Old Town Square and the Astronomical Clock. There are all sorts of shopping malls and supermarkets nearby, making dining very convenient. The hotel's own café is very famous, and the breakfast is excellent. The room facilities didn't feel dated; it was clean and tidy, and the bedding was comfortable.

WiFi doesn’t work at all!

A really lovely hotel in walking distance of all major sites. Great breakfast which also acts as a fantastic evening dining spot. My only feedback would be an incident involving cleaning of the room where some clothes of mine were collecting with the towels collection. I still can’t work out how this happened given they were way out of the way of the towels - I assume the used towels were put on top? Unfortunately the reception team were initially not helpful and it took a few requests for them to check with the cleaning team and check the laundry… they did and the clothes were uncovered in the basket of used towels…

Not the end of the world but annoying that it happened and wasn’t initially a proactive response.
