Absolutely beautiful hotel in the chateau. It was easy to find reception and they were extremely polite. We had a lot of light in the room, but the curtains don't really do much when you try to close them so you would need to bring an eyemask if you want to sleep past sunrise.
The food at the restaurant was average but it is one of the only places around. The staff don't really speak English so it can be complicated if you have questions. The breakfast was ok, there was enough food, eggs and meat but the range wasn't mind-blowing. I would still recommend this as a wonderful place to stay. We have a gorgeous view over the village

Spent 3 days biking around Valtice Czech Republic which is one of the best places to visit in the Moravian wine country. Went for drinks at the historical Hotel Anton Florian. Pretty fancy there with nice seating and table service. Bit of a wait when we wanted beer and wine. Table service. Clean bathrooms. Piped music. A little pricey there. A bit up a walk up to the hotel. Recommend. We would return.

A fairly basic hotel, but in a beautiful location next to Valtoce Castle. Parking is available (€10). No air conditioning, but there is a fan and the castle walls are thick, so it's perfectly fine. Just 50 meters away in the castle's cellar, you can enjoy a wonderful, extensive wine tasting.

Sleep like a Prince at Valtice Castle!
Wonderful hotel in one of the castle wings. Room was large, but the bathroom was small and has a bathtub with shower, it’s OK, but not more. In the castle cellar is the Czech National Wine Centre, where they have over 160 wines from the Czech Republic, and you can buy s ticket for 2 hours and taste as many as you want, each wine has a large fold-up with data and a QR code so you can read in other languages. Valtice is a very nice little town, there are many wine-bars and restaurants, well worth a visit!

Beautiful surroundings. Beautiful building. Lovely terrace with a restaurant.
The room was less than stellar. The bathroom, in particular, was small. No air conditioning. The photo online depicts a magnificent building. However, the rooms are located in the left wing. The main castle can be visited as a museum for a fee, without any admission fee.

This is a really romantic hotel to stay in. The initial reaction on arrival is pure joy at staying at such a wonderful place. One point is that the arrival information does not include parking arrangements and the dropping off of luggage. This was a little convoluted. Our room was spacious and well appointed. Staff were friendly and helpful. Going in the off-season meant that we had the restaurant to ourselves (with one other group). Both breakfast and dinner were very good. The walls in the grounds of the property are purely delightful. The staff also organised a picnic lunch for us which included wine and cheese in a picnic set including a rug. Superb!
