Pretty good stopover, the lift was quirky and the staff service response was brisk.

The photos are misleading regarding the quality of the accommodation. Upon arrival, the apartment was filthy (toilet not flushed, bins not emptied, dirty shower). We had to clean it ourselves because it was so dirty. The studio is poorly maintained (limescale everywhere in the bathroom, mold, dust under the bed, no batteries in the remote controls). The staff is unwelcoming; it's as if we're bothering them when we speak to them. Avoid this place at all costs, unless you enjoy cleaning during your stay or fancy yourself a home decorator!

The room was fine, but not the best.
There was some broken things at the WC and shower, sad to see that the water pressure was low. Confused a bit, but yeah

I had a rough start at the hotel because there was nobody there when I wanted to check in. then there was a screw up with not being able to get back into the room with the card which could have been partly my fault. But again, it took a while to find someone who could deal with that. People from out of country don't always have capacity to phone someone, so that's not a good substitute for not having staff on site. Also, there's no free wifi, and the wifi that you pay for isn't very good.
But I do want to say that, once those issues were dealt with it was great. If you're just looking for a good clean place to sleep, with good beds, linens and storage areas, this is a great place. Free, good wifi would really help too.

Smelly hallway, dirty shared washrooms. Worst checkin. Their office closes at 5pm everyday. If you dont have a danish number to call them to open backdoor for entry, good luck looking for help. We reached at 6pm and had hard time finding some one to help.

Rooms for the most part were pretty good for what they were. We had double bunk beds. The space between them was a large suitcase flipped opened horizontally if sitting on aode of bed. Would NOT be able to open it vertically. Parking lot is very limited. The rooms were pretty well cleaned, though we did find some random hairs on the bedding. Biggest issue was with the bathrooms. The bathrooms need a serious update. Toilet room and shower may have been clean, but the stuff is so outdated, worn out and stained, but you dont know and are afraid to use. If the bathroom and shower facilities were updated, I would gove this place an overall 5 for the value you are paying.

Although the front desk stated that service was available from 7am to 11pm, there was no one there at 5pm and I couldn't access the lobby where hot water and other warm drinks were available. Also, Wi-Fi is a paid service, so the front desk was closed and I couldn't sign up for the paid service even if I wanted to.

The shared bathroom and toilets were clean, and the towels were clean. You should be prepared for a minimum stay without meals.

The location is great, as it's close to the station and within walking distance of a delicious Danish pastry cafe.

Not far from kirkjufell, beautiful view, easy to find accommodation, easy to travel, stayed in a room on the 2nd floor, had to carry luggage up the stairs, a bit steep and narrow. The bathroom is on the ground floor, there is liquid soap, a hair dryer, there is a spacious kitchen, kitchen equipment, oven, microwave, refrigerator, complete, lots of parking, very clean.

We had a long layover so stayed one night. I didn’t pay attention when I booked the room that it had a shared bathroom. I believe they do have private bathrooms. Great family accommodation for a very short stay.
