Friendly staff, had issues with room but they were quick in moving us to a new one. We had a great time including kids and teenager.

Courteous entire staff, good amenities, great location. However, i had to pay an additional fee to use the room’s safe box.

Hot water, A/C, clean rooms, location, location, location!!! And, the price was more than reasonable. Shout out to Rosa and the girl who helps clean. Very sweet and responsive. The whole staff was amazing. Definitely staying there again. Gracias mi gente ahí!!! ;)

The hotel is on the beach, minutes by foot to all restaurants. The penthouse was spacious and with a view on the tropical lush garden, the pool and the ocean. All the personnel is friendly and helpful. I’m looking forward to staying again there!

Place was fair. Room was huge. Within walkable distance from the beach. I do recommend this place.

Property very clean and grounds beautifully decorated... it is a sight to behold. It would be nice to have telephone inside the room if i need to call reception for security in the night.

The location is a bit complicated but very quiet.

The location should have been closer to the city. You must have transportation for outside shopping, restaurants, etc. The location is secluded, but nice if you want to just stay in one place. I would recommend Casa Linda for this area.

Everyone made this stay the best one yet. I had no issues and everything went smooth. The shuttle bus was very convenient. And the restaurant had many foods to offer. Pools are very clean and it is a very quite resort.

Stayed this resort with low expectations, and while it did surprise me in some ways, there were enough issues to make me question if I’d return. Let’s start with the positives: the area *looks* a little sketchy at first glance, but it’s actually quite nice once you settle in. The vibe is laid-back, and the staff (for the most part) are friendly and accommodating. Now, onto the not-so-great stuff...

We had a great stay! The staff was so nice and professional. Whatever needs we had with our room, they came right away to help. We used their car service to take us to Cabarete and Sousa Beach as welll as for groceries or anything we needed.

The property is quiet the staff are wonderful the food os really good is clean the pool is beautiful I recommend the hotel is 10/10 5 star ⭐️

Room was wonderful, staff was very helpful and courteous. The breakfast was a great touch to mingle woth ohter guests. Parking was a plus as well.

Best place to stay in Cabarete. Clean and secure. Close to all of nightlife-al walkable but far enough that it's quiet when you sleep. Landscaping very well manicured and super tropical as you would expect. Pool is amazing as it is adjacent to the ocean. Restaurant has good food at reasonable prices. Great drink prices at happy hour. This is not a huge resort and staff is all very friendly and accommodating

Check in: arrived 50 minutes early to check in and staff requested a fee for early check in. Lobby is small, hot with no fans/ac to wait in. Was not offered a place to store bags and grab a bite/drinks. Room: large, but therefore room is hot and does not have a large enough ac unit to cool entire room and bathroom. The location for El Kaoba hotel is ideal, right in the heart of Cabarete. However, the service left a lot to be desired. The staff were very friendly but we had major issues with getting even the most basic of facilities. We had booked through Booking.com 2 rooms for 2 people each, and El Kaoba told us a day before we were set to arrive that they could not honor our confirmed reservation but they...

The people were so kind, welcoming and accommodating to our very large group which to me makes a hotel special! The location was in the middle of everything (including the beach) and felt very safe. Although we didn’t use the pool due to our schedule, the area is beautiful, breakfast is included (if you paid for that part) and a restaurant is attached so very convenient for us. Though the hotel is still going through renovations, it is a lovely place to stay! Across from the beach, with a beautiful pool, and warm, helpful front desk staff who are always smiling. We ate dinner in the restaurant daily and the food was truly excellent! The parking situation was challanging. They have a whole parking lot but keep it locked at night and do not allow overnight guests to park there and have them park on the street after the 3 spots are taken up.

Excellent location for being in the heart of kite surfing!!! Super amiable staff, right next to a couple of beach eateries and in the mix of all kite folks hanging out, really cool even for us wanna be kiters! I especially loved the spotlessly clean room! Great value for this hotel!

The closeness to Kite Beach, with Kite Club Cabarete right next to it was great. Where they were really helpful launching and catching the kites. And Kenneth the portier was really helpful taking our luggage to our room, giving us tips on where to eat and where to buy food for the room. If we had any questions he gladly answered them.

Great location close to the main hub, only minutes away walking. It was very quiet and we all slept well. This unit was on two floors, accessible from the ground floor. It was very spacious and we loved the private BBQ and outdoor dining area. The unit and grounds around the pool were very clean and well maintained. Great value for central cabarete!

Spent in this hotel 4 months - 3 in apartment and 1 in a room. Great botanic garden, great stuff, safe place, nice pool. Room wasn't extra, but it served, apartment was cool - spacious, 2 teraces. The onli minus is internet - always up and down, when raining mostly network not available... if you come here and would like to work, I suggest Claro internet sim, otherwise it will not work.

Very quiet - a rarirty in DR - hotel. AC and I think the hot water worked. Some places say they have hot water... What makes this hotel stand out is that it is close to the main drag and beautiful gardens around the pool for great effect. You will pay less if you don't make reservations. Most places in the DR charge the gringo rate over the internet.

It's like staying in a botanical garden, or a rainforest. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Clean rooms and great pool area. The best part is the not only is it literally across the street from beautiful Cabarete Beach, but it's in the middle of the action. Walking distant to amazing beachfront restaurants. They turn into lounges and dance clubs after the dinner rush. We had so much fun!

Good basic hotel with air conditioning. Bathroom had only soap - no slippers, bath ropes or shampoo. Fills basic necessities. Beach towels from lobby! Nice staff!

I stayed here in August 2025 and overall it was an uneventful stay. The staff was generally welcoming but there was not much to help guests with. I agree that the pictures on the booking platform seemed a little nicer than my actual room. Talking about my room, it was basic but had all the essentials one needs. Just had the best vacation of my life and this hotel was half of my experience! Located seconds from the ocean, with a beautiful view of ocean from some rooms. Staff were friendly, helpful, and on the ball! Felt safe and secure my entire stay. 30 second walk to the only grocery store in town, 2 minute walk to Scotiabank, and ease of access to any restaurant you wish! Will be back again soon!

The rooms are an excellent value: clean, comfortable, and steps away from the beach. The rooms catch the afternoon breeze. The staff are helpful, even with small needs. The restaurant serves an excellent variety of delicious food, also at great value. We stayed for a full week and so took advantage of the proximity of a great supermarket around the corner. A cute little hotel tucked back off the main street. Very close to the supermarket, beaches, dining, etc. The room was a little run down, as it is an older building. The rooftop jacuzzi was lovely, and the rooms were somewhat equipped with eating and cooking utensils. Overall our stay was great! The staff was accommodating and we enjoyed our stay.

A fine place with a few hick ups. The property was overall great. Service was outstanding. The kitchen extractor in my apartment didn’t work. That was the only problem. Another issue, they show a very nice gym as available on the property for use by guests. However, when you ask the staff to use the gym, they say it is for the owners only. Beautiful property but for a luxury property I would have expected better amenities. No blow dryer in either bathroom ( you had to request). No amenities in the kitchen, not even salt. Resturant food was excellent but very limited. It is suppose to be a combination of hotel and apartment but falls a bit short

The staff is extremely kind. The property itself needs updating. My room smelled of cigarettes upon arrival. There was no hot water. The WiFi is not great. The staff is wonderful.

Overall I had a great stay. The staff was so nice and the property was beautiful. My only thing is the ac in the room was not strong and it was very hot to sleep at night. Besides that, it was great. Food and drinks were great and the beach was so nice and clean.

Great location and it was a last minute booking maybe that's why the forgot the towels in the room. Since the buildings are all wood you hear the neighbors on top, every step. Seems like a family owned place, so overall good for the purpose of spending a night in Cabarete.

Price value was excellent, I needed a room for one night with AC and got a very good offer, far from what the next door places wanted, they were asking for 205.00 USD. The room was clean and functional, AC working very well and even had some toast and eggs included next morning. Good that I found this place at the last minute.

Lovely, peaceful campus and comfortable, airy room. A range of hammocks, tables, and lounge chairs to hang out throughout the property. My kids loved jumping from the high platform into the pool.
