The hotel itself is only around 4 years old according to our driver but the rooms are pretty beat up… broken cabinet doors, finishes looked worn and beat up, the shower head holder couldn’t handle the water past a certain pressure and would spin...

Check in was not smooth at all. We are told to pay $50 per child per night extra charge. Not clearly outlined when we made the booking, and slapped on top like a money grab. Very nice hotel. I enjoyed the structure due to ageless beauty of the building. However, this is not an updated new hotel. Not for people that require brand-new facilities as this is not that. Everything was clean and they worked hard to make the stay comfortable. I think for the price the lack of updating is forgivable.

This worked out well. The location is good and the rooms are decent. The service was good. Booked last minute on a Saturday night. So I really have no complaints. I would have liked a refrigerator but balcony was nice. Shower with hot water and pressure. It was not expensive.

Amazing stay! The hotel is perfectly located only about a 2 minute walk to the beach, making it very convenient. The service was excellent from start to finish, with friendly and attentive staff. Disappointed The staff was extra friendly. The property is extremely old and the price was not valued at the condition of the room. The walls showed water damaged and needed to be scraped and re-painted.

Stayed for 5 nights. Place is on a quiet street but near lots of restaurants and nightlife. The room was clean, had what I needed, and the balcony and pool, which was empty when I was there, were nice. I had to find my own bottled water because it wasn't supplied.

The room was clean and comfortable but dated. The air conditioner is in the bedroom but was able to cleap the entire apartment cool. The one television was in the living room. I was impressed by the cleanliness because this is the only place I visited in Sosua that did not have an ant problem. It is easy to find and everyone there was very friendly.

Lovingly situated up the hill from Sosua Central. This is a great place to relax and recoup. 10 minute walk to all amenities. Rooms are clean and spacious and the hosts Luce and Maximus are fantastic and always obliging.

A true paradise in Sosúa. Luce and Massimo created a calm and beautiful place and they are so kind. People need trip advisor to let them know this resort is closed. And has been sold by Amasha Marina and is currently being renovated by its new owners Hopdela. They as well own and operate Emotions .03 miles from this property. The new name of this property is unknown or if it will run as a resort. The location is a bit complicated but very quiet.

The location should have been closer to the city. You must have transportation for outside shopping, restaurants, etc. The location is secluded, but nice if you want to just stay in one place. I would recommend Casa Linda for this area.

Everyone made this stay the best one yet. I had no issues and everything went smooth. The shuttle bus was very convenient. And the restaurant had many foods to offer. Pools are very clean and it is a very quite resort.

Casa Azul is a convenient place to stay for a short visit to Puerto Plata. Very secure. Comfortable bed. Good size fridge in the room. Daniele communicates well, is very accommodating, shares local information, and provides paid taxi service if she is available.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Azul! We had to book last minute due to a mishap, but this stay turned everything around. The entire apartment was very spacious and clean, and had a water cooler with delicious, fresh, cold water. The air conditioning kept the bedroom very comfortable, and we slept great on the bed. Nice experience. Close to different touristic places. Clean rooms, and a variety of food in the breakfast buffet. The service was also kind and friendly. The casino is under reconstruction, but I'm not into it.
