Much better than expected! The Nile view is stunning. Breakfast wasn't really suited for Chinese tastes, but the front desk lady was super nice. She even helped our friends, who were staying at another hotel, store their luggage.

This was my favorite hotel! The views were absolutely stunning, and we were incredibly satisfied with every service, from the boatman who picked us up to the moment we checked out. The only minor thing was that the breakfast wasn't quite to our taste, but everything else gets a five-star rating!

The location is super convenient, directly accessible by boat, making it easy to catch both sunrise and sunset. The hotel's facilities are a bit dated, and the service could be a bit warmer. However, the overall environment of the hotel is excellent, and the restaurant is great with delicious food.

Although the hotel is a bit old, the environment is great. You can take a boat on the Nile right outside, which is always convenient. It's also very close to the Old Cataract Hotel.

Hotel a bit old or outdated. However location was very central and high security. Got to leave rather early for excursion and requested breakfast to go service and was told it not possible. You will have to bring your own bag/box to pack your own breakfast box.

The hotel and service were excellent. We rented 3 rooms while visiting the Aga Khan Mausoleum in Aswan. However, I must say that in Egypt, the porters and waiters are overly pushy and constantly focused on getting tips, which becomes very annoying.”

We had a wonderful stay. The property is beautiful and couldn't be more safe if you had little ones who needed to run around. We had absolutely fantastic massages. The hotel is located on a small island Elephantine island on the Nile River in the middle of Aswan. The hotel is very nice, modern and safe. There is also a high tower in the area, the service is at a high level and the food is very tasty. Nice stay. Good location, people are nice and helpful

The hotel was great. When we checked in, they upgraded us to a large suite. It was too hot, so we didn't explore the city much. It was very pleasant to stay in the hotel, enjoy the Nile River view, and have some tea.

The room was very spacious and the view was great. Unfortunately, I was in a hurry and couldn't enjoy it in detail. If I could stay a few more days, it would definitely be one of the most cost-effective options.

We were arranged to stay in a river view suite in a small house across the road from the hotel (in fact, there is no river view on the first floor). The room was relatively damp. We paid the price of a five-star hotel but lived in a county guesthouse with decoration standards. The overall feeling was that the premium was very high and there was no cost-effectiveness.

A great hotel with excellent service. The balcony offers a lovely view of the Nile. Breakfast had limited variety, and dinner was a decent Western meal, somewhat catering to Chinese tastes. The best part was the mango juice, filled with large chunks of fruit.

After my luggage was lost, the staff at the Old Cataract Hotel went above and beyond to help me find it. On the first night, without my suitcase, they even provided many daily necessities (double sets of t-shirts, socks, spray, and other essentials). I was truly touched.
