Very helpful and caring staff! We stay in august for kid’s football tournament . Staff helped us with all issues . Thank you once again! Rooms are spacious and clean . Food is also good. Good value for the price.

Hotel is located on the outskirts of Tartu ( 3-5 eur for Bolt 3km ride to city center ), in front of National museum area. A bit outdated, but does it's job. Main factor for us to choose was availability of triple room at reasonable price. Room is basic, as well as bathroom, no elevator ( only 2 floors ). Hotel is locked at 22:00, so you need to use code to enter the building. No vending machine available during night time, and didn't noticed any grocery nearby - have your water and snacks. Breakfast was surprisingly good, just on weekend could start earlier - at 8:00 by opening was a queue of guests...

We booked a room with a sauna at the hotel, where an employee kindly showed us to our room and helped the child with the luggage as there was no elevator available. The room was a bit special, as it had a separate living area, dressing room, washroom and a large sauna area and was clearly intended for a larger group. The bedroom had a double bed and a bunk bed. We had a nice and soft steam in the sauna. The breakfast was not special, but there was enough food on offer to fill our stomachs. A positive experience and a special mention for the free parking in the fenced area in front of the hotel.

This place is very simple and budget friendly. Locates away from city centre, but small taxi drive will get you there easily. Breakfast is simple, but decent enough to start a good day.

I stayed in this hotel on a work trip for six nights. It’s not in the centre of Tartu, but a Bolt taxi costs 3-4 EUR to the centre, which is not bad at all. There’s a bus stop close by to the hotel as well. The hotel and the room were okay; they did their jobs, but they could use some updating. The breakfast was quite small, but sufficient. The staff was very friendly! For touristic purposes I’d try to look for a hotel closer to the centre, but if you’re just looking for a place to sleep, this hotel will do just fine.

It's a horrible place in the last 5 years I've been to. Google maps says "air conditioning in every room" is a lie! No air conditioning! There are not even fans! I understand that it is summer in Estonia 2 days a year, but still... Take care of at least maskite nets on the windows, but no. There is no isolation! I can hear the phone vibrating in the next room, let alone talking about love at 4:00 a.m. Breakfast is good, but you have to clean the dishes yourself))

It’s one of the cheapest hotels in Tartu and not too far away from citycenter. The room was rather old-ish and had only essentials. Furniture was old, a hole in the wall and no shampoo in the bathroom. There’s no electronic door locks, but they have key boxes in the corridor. Breakfast was fine, but again - onlu the essentials with bad coffee.

First the good points: staff are friendly and room is a reasonable size. The shower has good water pressure. Now the less good stuff: - there is no lift - if your room is on the second floor you'll have to carry it yourself - curtains and walls are paper thin. The first don't block out the light of day, and the second don't block out the noise of the people in the next room peeing or arguing - the bed is uncomfortable, with sheets that don't cover the mattress and let you see the dirty stains on it - breakfast: only one machine for everyone's tea and coffee and it's only in Estonian (so massive queue while non-Estonians try to understand what's written) and no black tea. Hot water and coffee are the same machine which doesn't help with the queue. Also note that this hotel is outside the town centre (so you will need your own transport) and that there is no English-language channel on the TV.

Code entry. Affordable and good rooms. Cheap vending machine for snacks and hot drinks.
Nearby there's a lot of lovely nature, a lake, museum (with cafe(s)), entertainment possibilities, a grocery store.

Closest bus is nr8, other OK option is nr7. Smart bike service nearby.

I wish bathroom floors weren't so cold.
Comfortable beds.
Dog friendly.

I ordered a double bed, but they gave me a twin bed with no notice. Also, the room was supposed to have a bath, but came with a normal shower only. The neighbours were having a party the entire night, the walls hold back little to no sound. Would not recommend.
