The hotel is old but in good shape. The bathroom is small. The room is fine as was the breakfast. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in a forest several kilometers outside the village center. We had an excellent lunch at the hotel restaurant.

This was my first visit and I will definitely come back here. The room is neat, spacious and cosy. The staff are friendly and helpful. I liked breakfast: homey and delicious.
The spa area is not huge but with everything one needs: sevaral saunas and pools plus the area where you can lie down and enjoy the view from the window because it is outstanding.
There buses from Võru every hour but I took a walk from the hotel to the city ca 30 min.
The hotel is super convenient for families with children.

Great stay, really fantastic. The staff was friendly and helpful, and spoke very well English. Also the rooms and other facilities were very good.
We also experienced the great hospitality of Estonia :) we stayed at the hotel for a day because we contested an old car tour through the Baltics. Some mysterious guest gave us some car parts for our car. What a fantastic gesture, unbelievable. Thanks a lot mr. Wolfie :)

Cosy little spa with proper outside saunas. Children are not allowed in spa after 20 every evening, so grownups can enjoy peaceful time in pools and saunas when needed. Massages are great and staff is very helpful.

We came here in the evening hoping to relax at the spa, but we were disappointed that no one followed the rules and the children after 20:00 were still screaming in the pools until late at night.

We enjoyed our stay here. The restaurant offered yummy foods and delicious drinks. Breakfast was great as well, especially compared to your average hotel breakfast! I had a facial and it was very relaxing and left my skin feeling amazing. The staff was kind and very helpful as well! Highly recommend.

This place is all about vibes and the vibes were excellent. I'll go with the cons first: there's only one CD/playlist on loop in the restaurant area and if you stay there for more than than two days, it can get quite repetetive. Luckily it's just soothing lounge music, but still something that should be addressed. Lack of AC in some rooms (mine as well) wasn't an issue - I just left the French balcony door open and closed the curtains. Pros: excellent staff, both day and night shift. Well suited buffet options when booking breakfast, half board or full board options that are on par with 4* business type hotels around Europe. Tried the main course (Legendaarne Kubija kännuke) my first day with extra charge and it was money well spent. I think they make their own bread and butter as well because it was like its own separate course - fresh, crispy crust and soft on the inside. Just what the doctor ordered! A HUGE PRO is the beautiful scenery and thanks to the pine forest, we had less than a handful of mosquitoes throughout our stay. And if you know about Estonian summers, mosquitos can drive you quite mad. Small but decent rooms. Twin beds could be further apart, but understandably there's not much room for creating more space, so make sure you know who you're rooming with in advance.

AVOID THIS PLACE IN SUMMER - INHUMAN CLIMATE CONDITIONS, NOT ABLE TO SLEEP. Practically all rooms does not have air conditioning (AC) and there is 29-30 C in rooms in summer, when sun shines during day and it does not get much colder at night . At check-in we wanted to leave, but were asked to stay, given a room with AC, only to discover that it did not work. Engineering could not fix it. Had to have a cold shower during the night to get any sleep. We were told by other hotel guests, they had the same issues, but they thought, that suffering is normal. Breakfast is pretty weak and tasteless, while spa is decent, but outside sauna with lake access is only open on weekends. Hotel refused any compensation regarding sleepless nights, will contact Estonian Consumer Protection Agency and Health Agency about this.

The room was with very tiny window so the view was on the wall and did not see any nature or lake. Room was dark and I refused to stay there and asked my money back. They could not offer me the other room and money was not returned. I left to the other hotel. Disappointed, never visit this hotel again.
