Hotel «Inari»

Stayed over for one night. Good breakfast and friendly service. Only minus was that there were no shampoo in the bathroom. Only some soap that was not meant for hair. The reception did not sell any shampoo, but luckily the K-Market was just across the street.

I was traveling from helsinki (from Dubai) and it was about -16 degree Celcius in Helsinki ( 3.2 degree Fahrenheit for my american friends) and when I arrived here, right in front of the entrance there was a digital display of the current temperature and it read -29.2 degree C (-20.2 degree F) , it was bitterly cold, balls freezing cold.
The lowest I had experienced prior to this was a balmy 2 degree celcius.

I stayed here for 4 nights in January when the sun would rise at about 10.30 am and would set by 2.00 pm, as someone who came from a place with 12 to 15 hours of day light this was absolutely fascinating and beautiful.

The room was quite good, although small, it was very well maintained, clean, with my own private sauna in the washroom, boot/socks dryer, place to hang winter wear, nice big TV.

The washroom was very modern with endless hot water supply which was of paramount importance when hell was freezing over outside.

There is a small vent by the bed which can be controlled to allow outside air to flow in.

The view from the bedroom window was absolutely beautiful, endless frozen river, white everywhere. This was my first time seeing snow, and the place right outside the window and as far as my eyes could see was covered in thick blankets of pristine white snow.

I changed my reservation way too many times and not once was I frowned upon.
Breakfast is served right next door which is a stone's throw away.

The place is so peaceful, so beautiful and calm.

I even got locked out one night, I woke up at about 3 am and saw the auroras and jumped out into the freezing ( -29 degree C) cold and this was without the thermall overall and I forgot to take my room key. I walked around for a bit soaking in the clamness and beauty of the dead of the night by when the cold became unbearable.

One call and the owner himself came driving and opened the door for me. No signs of anger or frustration for having woken him up at 4 am.

Special mention to the sauna, but for the sauna I don't think I'd have enjoyed the stay as much. Knowing I could go back to the room after the outdoor activities and warm myself in my private sauna was very comforting.

Located in the heart of Inari, it is absolutely convenient to get to places from Hotel Inari. From the moment we stepped into the hotel, every staff member was very friendly and helpful, and they make you feel like home!

During check-in, the staff gave us very concise and clear instructions regarding the hotel. He even offered us early check-in as our room was already ready! What's more, when we returned from dinner, another front desk staff reminded us that there was aurora borealis at that moment! We rushed back to our room and take our tripods for photo-taking. The scenery was absolutely magical, spectacular and stunning.
Breakfast is included for every hotel guest. The hotel restaurant faces the lake, which gives a wonderful view while enjoying our breakfast. What made our breakfast time more enjoyable was our waitress Natalia, who always has a pretty smile on her face and looks like beautiful sunshine! This has made our stay at Hotel Inari very enjoyable and remarkable. Everyone and everything here are amazing!

We had an absolutely amazing holiday and our stay at the hotel's holiday village was just lovely. The accommodation was warm, comfortable and had a great view of the frozen lake. All the activities were extremely well organised and very enjoyable. The dog sledding and snow shoeing were particularly good. we were very lucky to see the Aurora as well!!!

Hotel placed in very nice area. Located at the Inari lake gives plenty of opportunities. During winter time you can take a walk on the frozen lake, marvel northern lights or take snowmobile trip.
During summer time you can take canoe trip.
Food was very good. Receptionists very kind.
It is possible to have late check-in. This is highly demanding if you are travelling through Finland and don't want to hurry.

I can't say enough about how extraordinary Inari is - especially at the height of the winter. The hotel is centrally located and very comfortable. The staff are absolutely superb, and the restaurant is fantastic.

This place has modified a lot from the past years. I remember it was more like a pub & hotel. Now it was really good food and has gone a big renevation.

Food was excellent and service even better (thanks to the Irish guy).

Place also has nive view to the lake Inari.

Clean and very cozy. A most comfortable atmosphere at the breakfast as well. The best!
