The art was actually impressive, but that's it. We went through it in about 20 minutes so 26€ for that is steep. There are no signs or nothing explaining to you what you are seeing. I've visited before and this is the worst one yet. They should have people patrolling around because children are touching every sculpture and climbing up every chance they get. The place getting smaller and service worse. It's also in the small details, like dirty bathroom and not having soap. I'm genuinely upset I spent the money. Yes, it's unique but not worth the hype. They need to step up their game.

We came to see the ice sculptures and was surprised to find that there was an ice restaurant there so we wanted to try that too! The receptionist was super nice and managed to get us a reservation 15 minutes later. I ordered the Lapland delicacies which were a really tasty starter! Then I had the reindeer served two ways which was incredible. The sauce you get with this is so so nice, and the green seasoning on one of the reindeer was super tasty, however I cannot remember what it was called. For dessert I had the snowball which is like an ice cream covered in white chocolate, lingonberry and spruce tips. Yummy.

We then explored the ice village and saw some amazing sculptures. I think they change it every year as I was expecting there to be Game of Thrones sculptures based on the reviews I saw. Nonetheless, the sculptures for this season were still outstanding. Highly recommend it.

Lapland Hotels Snow Village is truly a unique experience. The atmosphere feels like something out of a fairytale. The ice sculptures and rooms are incredibly detailed and artistic; every corner leaves you amazed. Even though it’s cold inside, everything is well organized and designed with comfort in mind. It’s a perfect place for taking photos. One of the most impressive concept hotels I’ve ever seen. A must visit for anyone coming to Lapland an unforgettable experience.

Amazing dinner at the ice restaurant!

The experience was really unique and such an interesting time. We had the place to ourselves for about 45-minutes. Everything that was brought out was delicious.

The reindeer was cooked to perfection. The snowball dessert was so so good. The spruce serbet was incredible.

The staff was also really great. They spoke very quietly but one server made it a point to come over and tell us that the Aurora was starting to show outside. We ran outside and they the sky put on a show for us.

Highly recommend, but dress warmly and be prepared to drink your beverages fast otherwise they will freeze over!

Highly recommended. The SnowVillage is incredibly impressive – we’ve never seen anything like this before. The level of detail and craftsmanship in the snow and ice art is amazing, and everything is beautifully staged with lighting.
A big plus is that your ticket allows you to go in and out as often as you like, so you can easily warm up in the restaurant if it gets too cold.
Even though it’s a touristy attraction, it’s absolutely worth visiting to see how precisely and intricately snow can be shaped and transformed into art.

Just wanted to highlight a few things. It will depend on company being booked through and so this is based on ********** TUI option ONLY *********. Unfortunately the TUI search for Santas schedule is so tight that literally any delay anywhere and you will have issue. Our experience was to land 30 mins late due to landing issues (I'd imagine this is common due to location and weather). Due to this this then had a knock on effect i.e. on getting to the clothing area we were now way down the line literally. The q was so massive we had to joing a second q in another back room of a building. This took approx 1hr. So straight away we'd lost 1.5hrs of a 4 hr or so day trip costing soo much. We then basically had to spend the day not relaxed trying to do everything but we soon realised we just couldnt. We joined the big q for the huskies. Unfortunately this was where the issues started. And remember this cost over £700 for a day! Per person.... 1.The husky ride was...no lie. Under 1 minute long and once you've been on it once you can't go on again!! 2. The snowmobile although this is a trip aimed at children, when you get there there are height restrictions not advised to us before. As such our children couldn't go on them. 3. Santa part was good where youre taken on a sleigh to the man himself. 4.The snow cave part is good but due to time left we basically had to run through it which absolutely spoiled it as there was just no time. 5. There was no time left for children to go on reindeer sleigh. 6. There was no time for children to go on the mini snowmobile thing which was really small. So all in all it's a £700+ toss of the coin. If you get there exactly as per schedule you'll be okay ...maybe...... But if any delay you will run the risk of paying a massive amount for limited items. Again this is only our experience but all in all £700+ for a 57 second husky ride and to see Santa is utterly insane. It's a shame as our children were so exited but didn't get to see or do what they had longed for. Unfortunately for something that looked to be so well done TUIs option doesn't run a schedule where delays can be taken onboard with little to no impact on the days schedule overall. Can't recommend sorry to say and there were so many people we know looking into this.

Amazing and magical experience from before you even get on the plane with elves and games for the kids. I can’t recall how many flights I have taken in my life but I will always remember the flight to Lapland. We had a nice breakfast and then proceeded to play different games that included the racing of passing toilet roll from the front to the back of the plane without it breaking. The children were even brought up to get together to run down the aisle from the back of the plane to the front. Afterwards we sang Xmas Carole’s. When we arrived at Kittilä, we were taken to get our snow gear and was able to leave anything we didn’t want to take with us in the bag we were provided that we could leave at the airport to be looked after. Once onboard the coach to Lapland we were provided a map with the time of when we could go to meet Santa. We played quizzes with Santas helpers on the ride over to Santas home. Once arrived there was plenty to do including riding reindeer sleighs, snow mobiles and huskies. We loved the huskie ride the most even with two people in our party with a phobia and allergy of dogs. There was an area where you could roast your marshmallows if you brought some with you. There was a restaurant that provided a buffet meal that was nice and also provided some much needed warmth when you required. When it was time we were whisked away to see Santa on a snow mobile which was a lot of fun. There was a nice elf that was just outside Santa’s home that made friends with our daughters. She provided nice hot drinks and cookies whilst we waited and let us in to see Santa when he was ready for us. It was amazing how much Santa knew about our daughters and even provided them with a gift each . The girls really enjoyed meeting him. There was an ice museum which we walked around and enjoyed viewing the incredible sculptures. The museum then leads onto a gift shop where you can purchase memorabilia and souvenirs. We got on the coach afterwards and headed back to the airport where we collected our belongings and returned the snow suits. We were served a Christmas Meal on our flight back home and was allowed quiet time as by this time everyone including the children were exhausted. An incredible day that may have been expensive but was definitely worth it!

The price, contrary to what others have said on here is fair, 2x 3.5hr flights alone aren't going to be cheap. The cost, obviously, racks up when there is 4 (2 adults, 2 children) going but that is obvious. Lapland itself is amazing! All of the staff and elves that we encountered were so friendly and genuine. The snowsuit and boots that are supplied are excellent and upto the job of keeping you warm. The lunch at the place is perfectly acceptable, basic but appeals to all kids and most, reasonable, adults. The amount of time at the Snow Village is tight and could do with being about an hour and a half longer, but I guess that would make the overall day (already quite long) even longer. That said, this gives a superb taster of Lapland. A previous review states that there are no carols or Christmas decorations there and whilst true, I hadn't really noticed as the day for me, was all about snow and Lapland. The skidoo ride out to see Father Christmas was unbelievable! I don't know what a previous review was going on about when it said that they were left standing 'at the side of a road'. These were all tracks through forests where no other vehicles (except skidoos) would be and it was slightly bumpy (the turbulence on the plane journey was worse) but no more than one would expect. Certainly nowhere near enough to make someone 'cry out in pain'!!!!! The coach journey from the airport was excellent. The driver showing how driving in snow and ice can be done if you know what you're doing! The only negative point on the whole day was the flights themselves. The crew were excellent but the seats are crammed in so tight and are wafer thin and if you get the passengers from hell behind (like we did), you feel EVERY TIME that they kick the seat back or rummage in the seat back pocket (which they did every few minutes), which made the flights horrendous. All in all though, a superb day. I was really nervous after reading some of these negative reviews and in large, the actual day was nothing like they say. I guess it all comes down to individual expectations, but we were left with nothing but amazing memories* (*except for the flights!)

Visited the snow village today on a Tui excursion! The whole day was magical and the children loved it! We enjoyed a taster snow mobile and husky ride. Went by snow mobile on a nice ride through the beautiful scenery to find Santa in his cabin (the presents were a bit naff but aren’t they always?) We were given hot berry juice at 3 different points, decorated gingerbread cookies, played in beautiful fluffy snow, went sledging down the sledge slope and my 14 and 4 year olds both loved it in equal measures! Hot chocolate and cakes in the restaurant were lovely too! Only drawbacks for me were the toilets are very small which was a nightmare trying to get a snowsuit off a 3 year old in a small space and then hold her on the toilet and the husky ride just wasn’t long enough but that’s me being extra picky so they still deserve 5 stars! I thought the amount of time for the excursion was perfect and the day was a Christmas dream come true! Definitely recommend!
