Hotelli Kittilä in Kittila

22 year-old daughter and I had a 5–night stay at Hotelli Kittila, arriving on New Year’s Eve. We were looking for a cheap(er) alternative to staying in Levi as we were skiing on a tight budget. Our twin room was fine/functional, with a well-powered shower. Breakfast was included in the price and was pretty reasonable although there wasn’t a huge choice. The bar (same area as for breakfast) was cosy at night. There was a games room and a small communal kitchen with a microwave/kettle which was handy. The public buses to Levi stop right outside the hotel, and although there were a couple of occasions where we experienced quite significant delays, the service was OK Top tip - use Uber taxis rather than the (often twice as expensive) ‘for hire’ ones if needing to get back from Levi after the last public bus. All the staff we experienced at the hotel were really helpful and attentive, although often the reception wasn’t manned so you had to go to the restaurant (which was fine). Overall a great no-frills choice

We are a business provider of aurora hunting experiences multiple nights and they accommodated us with excellent kindness, with few time prior to arrival and even facilitated our entry in regards to our needs. The hotel was beautiful, the room very comfortable and clean all guests agreed. Great service. Thank you! Looking forward to return.

Very friendly owner and a great homely atmosphere in the restaurant. Definitely a great meeting place for locals and tourists
