Guest House «Lainio Holidays»

The cottage village was in a good location in Lainio. Short distance 10 km to Ylläs and more than 30 km to Levi. The trails leave next door. Own car necessary. We were in Äijäkä, it had a renovated kitchen and the necessary appliances were found. One bedroom had good beds for two, the others a basic mattress. Or a basic spring bed. The sewer smelled in one toilet that could not be repaired during our week. At first, the whole apartment smelled of sewer.

Luckily, there were two toilets in the cottage so holding the door, the smell didn’t spread everywhere. Initially, the exhaust ventilation also did not work. When the smell of the sewer also came to other rooms. The cottage had been unused so the pipes had apparently frozen.

A service technician is not immediately available, so problems will not be resolved quickly. In the end, the maintenance performed by the maintenance man did not work, so we were left with a stinking drain for the rest of the week and hoped that the air would condense .. if the maintenance had tried to get the smell out, this place would be great.

The floors are cold, so you should be prepared for wool socks.
