Hotel Iso-Syöte in Syapte

One of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed! Super staff who couldn't do enough for you. We had the Eagle Suite which was stunning. Gorgeous views, so cosy, hot tub was lovely as was the sauna. The buffet was great food and totally could have had this every night. One night we had the A La Carte food and it blew us away!! The Black Salsify soup was amazing. My Husband originally booked 7 years ago as a surprise for my 50th and sadly the hotel had a fire and our booking was cancelled. So after a 7 year gap we finally got to go and stay in this little piece of heaven x Definitely do the Reindeer excursion it was so much fun. And the evening snow mobile ride was brilliant.

TOO MUCH MOSQUITOS AT NIGHT TIME.
TAKE A WHILE TO REACH THERE OR LEAVE.
SWIMMING POOL IN THE SPA IS SALTY. VANTILATION IN THE SPA IS FAIR, SOME ODORS ARE ALWAYS THERE.

Great stay in a great hotel
What a great landscape with a great hotel. Great design with the necessary charm for the snowy winter landscape. Great room - great view. Just great and we would definitely come back.

The wow factor is the location with valley view. The other wow factor was our bear cave suite. Whirlpool, large sauna, fireplace, steam bath, two bathrooms and a lounge area. The room is on the lowest level, but the windows are mirrored so that you can't see into the room. Minor points of criticism were the poorly cleaned fireplace glass and the lack of a coffee machine (only kettle). Thanks to its elevated location, the surrounding area receives much more snow than in the valley, a beautiful snow landscape- the highlight for us. The hotel has modern designed spaces (e.g. fireplace and terrace), but also places wirh retro charme (e.g. the huge dining room with carpeted floor and the exterior façade). We didn't book any excursions, but took long walks individually through the snow-covered landscape behind the hotel. As the hotel is very remote, the activities around the hotel are limited. There is a small ski area nearby and one of the lifts runs right up to the hotel. We always ate at the hotel. The evening buffet was so-so but the à la carte selection was fine. The best part was the cake selection at the bar during daytime. Also the pies and lasagna looked good, sadly they weren't available in the evening. The fireplace corner is a nice an cozy place for aperitif and after dinner drinks.

Great hotel that deserves 4 stars. Very friendly staff and guides. Good location and accomodation. Variety of food and enough time to eat during all shifts. Perfect for Lapland starters. Skislopes bit short though. Pity there was no small fitness. Spa is small : pool, 1 sauna, 1 steam bath, 1 jacuzzi.

Best view in syöte. We arrived to get coffee and cakes here and check out the view. It did not disappoint us. Views were spectacular. Cafe are had lots seatings with scenerys and pricing was very reasonable. 2 coffees, chocholate cake and goat cheese pie were 20€. I would visit again. Only minus was that there was no service in finnish language.

We stayed for 1 week wich was too short.....but thst's tge sentiment when time is too short! Absolutely fabulous hotel, smiling and always cheerfull staff. Breakfast and diner were well looked after and a spoilingly great choice for any appetite. We arranged an amour of different safari's and these are also recomended, good explained by english speaking Finish-guides. Amazone was the thermo-gear we got to use for the week in all sizes, clean and good fitting!

Fantastic hotel. Great facilities. Amazing rooms . Incredible views. Lovely restaurant & food . Great staff . Very well organised excursions . Great location, 30 minutes walk to a small village with a couple of very good bars & restaurants. Lots of fun in the snow.

We Just came back from this fantastic Hotel ! It is our second year in a row as we love it there! The staff are absolutely amazing and friendly especially Anna at reception! Anna remembered me from last year and made me feel so welcome! The food was delicious with lots of choice !

When we decide to visit Finland and special ISO SYOTE HOTEL we were expecting to have great relaxing and adventure time...... but what finally got was AN INCREDIBLE MAGICAL TIME..... EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE WAS DREAMY GOD BLESS FINLAND AND ISO SYOTE HOTEL 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 To say "thank you " is so poor for what we got.....
