A former luxury spa, perhaps a bit run down. The family room is spacious and the spa is nice. The place closes too early on weekends, so it's worth going for a swim as soon as you arrive. Hesburger was closed even though it was supposed to be open according to the opening hours. The food at the Classic Pizza restaurant came quickly, and food was good.

Kids like here, as hotel guests can also visit to water theme park. The hotel is a bit old, but still acceptable. I don't like the parking service -- hotel doesn't provide free or discounted parking for guests, and it is quite expensive, I spent almost 30€ for the parking.

It was our second visit to Holiday Club Caribia, Turku. Surprisingly we got exactly the same room to stay as of previous time in 2021. The swimming pools are the best part of the hotel, the rooms were not properly cleaned up, we found lots of dust in the corners of the room. Bathroom was better than the last visit. Overall, it was a good experience being in Caribia.

Very average hotel with poor adult facilities, but a great place for children. If you want to relax and spend time there as if you are in spa hotel, it is not a right place. Children are everywhere. Also they have quite bad sound isolation in the rooms. You will hear every cry.

Overall good experience. Clean, centrally located, easy access to the parking. Breakfast buffet good. Little issue with the parking payment as I was unable to pay at check out. Now the parking company will send the bill to the car rental company, which might charge additional charges for processing the parking ticket.

A hotel in bad need of updating. Especially on hot summer days. Lack of air fans, when there is no air conditioning in the building makes this place a hard place to sleep in. Beautiful and quiet location, lots to see nearby and good public transport connections right in front of the hotel. Helpful and friendly staff. Not all rooms have air conditioning and the hotel is a bit worn out, but everything worked and individual wishes were taken into account.

A peaceful hotel/spa by the sea, surrounded by beautiful nature. The rooms are old, like the hotel, but at least when traveling with a pet, there was plenty of space. Nice location in the middle of Turku's shopping pedestrian street. They have parking available. Really good service and friendly staff. Breakfast was phenomenal as always with Scandic, with clearly marked vegan options. Unfortunately the room was quite small with rather uncomfortable hard beds and not great pillows.

The hotel is special for its theme as it was a prison before. The room is clean and secured. The staff and very friendly to guide you the direction. The restaurant has quiet and private place to eat, blending in the nature! Though a bit far away from the centre, take light luggage is high suggested!

Hotel is spacious and has an interesting history. The location, including the rest of the Kakola restaurants and businesses is beautiful although a bit in convenient to reach/leave. The room is clean and well-equipped with coffee, tea bags, a kettle and a microwave. The bathroom is also very nice. There is free parking not far downstairs. The front desk will send the door password, which is the same as the room password.

In a city where accommodation is routinely expensive, Hiisi Hotel Turku Seaport is a relief. It is able to offer the prices it does by having no staff (other than housekeeping). And even with housekeeping there is no servicing of your room during your stay. There are a couple of microwaves and a kettle in the “kitchen” which was handy.

Perfect place to crash for the night if you have a ferry to catch next morning. Place itself was lacking basic cleanliness, bathroom was stinking and we had to clean ourselves.

The hotel is fantastically placed for using Viking Line ferries. Turku Port railway station is also less than 1 minute walk away. There are no staff at the hotel. You can only gain access to the hotel and your room with a code. Before you arrive at the hotel make sure you are in possession of the code as there are no staff there the let you in it assist you

The room is spacious, bright and clean (especially since we just arrived in Turku from London, we felt that the room was super big). The only downside is that the facilities are outdated and there is not a single USB port, which is not very friendly for people who don't have a conversion plug. It is unimaginable that mobile phones cannot be charged now.

Used a hotel bike for 4 days while there to explore lovely Turku. Staff is congenial and helpful to a foreigner who asks many questions! I highly recommend this charming boutique hotel!

Good quality hotel A good Sokos hotel with central location, just a few minutes of walking to marketplace. The breakfast is one of the best I've experienced in Turku, with a lot of warm and cold alternatives and some nice local products also. My room was tidy and beautifully decorated. The reception staff were great and attentive, and even managed a room for me even though arriving very early.

The bed was comfortable, but our blanket did not cover the two of us. It was too small for the bed. There are no blackout curtains so it was not dark in our room. The towels were very thin.

Hot as hell Hot as hell. There was a fan, but it did of course not cool anything down, but moving the air arround made it a bit more bearable. Still, it was only about +22 outside, and the curtains drawn, so a bit of a mystery how it could be so hot inside.

Good location, right next to the river. Rooms are very outdated and worn down. The air in the room stands still. Feels like there is no oxygen. Receptionist just told us that is because there is no airconditioning but it almost feels like that the rooms are not ventilated at all. Beds are nice and we enjoyed the breakfast as well.

Completely ok hotel with a nice breakfast and friendly staff. They have also free bicycles available for clients to explore the city. In any other occasion I would go for a city ride, but as it was a work trip and I was tyred, I left it for a next visit.

I've stayed in many Sokos Hotels before and every time I've been disappointed with the breakfast. Here, I have to say the breakfast was beyond amazing, I would almost have paid the price of the room just for that. All good with the room as well.

It was a very comfortable, spacious, and great place for a family of four. The bathroom and shower were separate, and the space itself was spacious and convenient. Located in the heart of the city, there were plenty of great restaurants nearby, and the main Gongwangji area was a short bus ride away, making it incredibly convenient. The staff were also incredibly friendly.
