Hotel Hanasaari in Espoo

Great hotel! We stayed here a while ago, it was very cozy. Beautiful rooms designed in 70s style, clean and comfy, very cozy interior, amazing breakfast with multiple options. Water in the indoor swimming pool was a bit chilly, but otherwise both sauna and pool area were clean and well maintained. We’ll gladly come back one day. Recently we just visited the area, very beautiful surroundings in the summer, and big parking. Must visit, by car or by bike

A hotel located in a beautiful natural location, on the seashore whwere meet high level hospitality, Nordic design, art and cusine .

The hotel is a piece of art in itself! What an architectural gem. Restaurant is good. Not too much choice but quality is there. The parc around is super peaceful and the deck to go in the sea after Sauna is amazing. Pool and sauna have limited hours (morning and evening) so carrefour with children. Also a bit isolated. Without a car you won’t do anything around.

Nice location on a tranquil island. If you use Bolt, you can get to city center for around 10 Euros. Or you can enjoy the small island Hanaholmen. They have spa and you can swim in the sea or in their pool. Many rooms view sea view

Stayed with my family for a few days during our vacation. Generally had a great time. First about the pros:
*) location is amazing - the views are picturesque and it’s very convenient to get around by car, bike, public transport and even on foot
*) the hotel itself shows it’s timeless design - looks great in every detail - both with respect to rooms, common spaces and all facilities. Details like moomin themed cups in the rooms are the cherry on top
*) staff is friendly, helpful and speak excellent English
*) sauna and swimming pool are great - when you want to have a cold bath in between your sauna sessions you can even jump into the cold Baltic Sea from the pier, marvellous!
The only downside of our stay were actually breakfasts. There is almost nothing to choose from and when staying for a few days it’s easy to get bored as they don’t rotate any of the dishes. There is no coffee machine (only filtered coffee)so a big disappointment for cappuccino fans. Also, no cereal (only porridge) and no pancakes so when travelling with kids it’s harder to get them something. It’s not like we left hungry in the morning but definitely something to work on.

Absolutely loved my stay at Hotel Hanaholmen. The renovated retro-style rooms were spotless and super comfortable. The whole atmosphere is calm and relaxing, surrounded by beautiful nature and stunning sea views. And you can take a walk or ride a bike around the island

The pool and sauna area was a highlight, perfect for unwinding. The food was fantastic too: great variety, top quality, and everything tasted amazing.

It’s about a 15-minute scenic walk to the metro, and just a 10-minute ride to Helsinki city center, so it's peaceful but still really convenient. Such a gem!
